>start Galleria
>there are no ara ara~ facets/voices like in Refrain
What the fuck, they ruined it.
Also, why does the 'weird' nature give you big bonuses on every useful stat? Is there a catch?
Not every stat is useful. Very Weird also prevents gear from changing your Luck stat though, which is a big positive in most cases but can make it difficult to manipulate it for Soul Transfers or Luck requirements for Pacts later on.
I remember people speculating it also has a very negative effect Rapport gains, but that entire mechanic felt so pointless to me I don't think it's anything most people would even care about.
I mostly just used Very Brave and later Belligerent for my physical attackers, Happy for my tanks, and I think it was Reliable for my mages
>there are no ara ara~ facets/voices like in Refrain
Please somebody tell me this isn't true, I'm about to finish Refrain and jump into Galleria
The cat facet has a voice EX option that talks like a human with meows and nyas
Hes wrong, one of Rapid facet voices is ~ara ara.
It doesn't sound nearly as ara ara as the ones in Refrain.
One of the rapid voices says "DIE PIIIIIG!"
It's my favorite.
I was sad that the milf theatrical star vanished. At least the microkini peer fortress is in by default.
There is no microkini peer fortress, only peer chariot
It SUCKS
>there's nothing you can do
fug
You can do it anon.
Spoon it up!
gearing up for the final boss. I have the Oracle Pact, for the Polka pact, is opening treasure enough or should i be bringing in loads of mana to fight enemies with? or do the enemies drop better stuff in general?
also is there anything particularly useful to spend all the silver from the exploration rewards on?
There's nothing useful that can be bought with silver besides repairs and bugs. The last rewards should have been mana, imo.
You are most likely way overpreparing. Have you actually tried fighting it?
I completely stomped it at around soul clarity 80 with a single oracle and no polka pacts at all using only what I got naturally while climbing up the cathedral.
Also enemies there don't drop any items at all from what I can tell. Maybe the FOEs do, I never fought any, but regular enemies for sure don't.
i hit the 3rd form pretty easily but the sword fucked me up a bit. i got the feeling the boss was very beatable tbh

The Q&As from JPese artbook, contains spoiler and some are obviously machine translated but you get the idea.
How can one bisque doll be so cheeky.
So if Cecilia never taught Mora how to make the antechambers, then the events of Refrain probably wouldn't have happened, right? Now I'm wondering if the mind wipe was what resulted in Mora's shift in personality and caused her to change her name to Furia.
This reminds me of how long ago I played Refrain given that I have forgotten so many details. So Furia isn't a World Tree Tribe member and had her memory fucked with? The bits about Nachi's bloodline clarify some things too, including why she wasn't turning into a bird left and right.
>cant even outrun the world enders beause they just follow you
holy fuck
>everything is Cecillias fault again
Missing texture.
When do you get the 666 pact?
I'm tired of trying to grind for the EXTRA Exp pact from the golden pinyas and I've been at it since yesterday with no luck on drops...
Later half of the Cathedral, at which point you really don't have any use for it anymore.
You can easily get to Soul Clarity 99 grinding in the Gold Brittle spot in Galleria Manor within a few hours using whatever plain normal Pacts you have, anything more than that is just kind of pointless anyways.
>Get to the grand cathedral
>Finally a new area to stockpile and make better puppets with better gear
>Start roaming
>Get some stockpile going from enemies
>Hear a wall break
>Huh?
>Look at the map
>Nothing out of the ordinary
>Okay let's keep going
>Beat another enemy
>Get a legendary lance
>Sweet
>Look at map
>There's some new enemy type?
>It's like light orange and it's pissed despite me being pretty far from it
>Huh that's weird...
>Move around
>It's getting closer somehow
>It's okay there's a door between our areas
>It breaks the fucking doorway
>Oh shit
>It's getting closer
>no enemies around to finish my stockpile
>IT'S GETTING CLOSER
>suddenly cornered
>It gets me into combat
>Wipes my party
What the fuck was that thing...?
Say hi to Betton anon
It has a lot of HP and insta death attacks
the reason people just spoon through that place
He was in the Grand Corridor too
Randomly spawns in some corner of the map and will hunt you down breaking down any obstacles in your path
Even if you manage to beat him somehow, and he's by far the hardest enemy in the game, you don't get any loot from him
It's the prime reason people just use Spoons for the Cathedral
>he's by far the hardest enemy in the game
Is he stronger than the final boss?
He's more threatening than it since he flings around group wide insta death attacks every turn.
Can he just be stunlocked though?
He can. If your Brigade has a high enough level he'll also just run from you.
this fucking shitty monster gave me a lot of grief, get fucked
>mfw was 99 clarity so the bitch just ran away
>spam Seal to continuously create walls so I could run away
I wish Etrian Odyssey could do half of the field stuff in this game
Over 100 hours now, still need to grind to beat final boss. Not even post game.
I think you are kinda slow anon
Based comfychad. Additional points if you didn't use spoilers or guides and lit up the map.
I wish there was some postgame boss that actually required you to minmax.
The true final boss is just way too easy if you grind at all. If you Synth weapons or farm the last few Cathedral floors for gear you can literally one shot every phase without it even doing anything
>walked into an FOE and lost over an hour worth of stockpiled exp
ehehe
Hey can anyone tell me how many 99 transfers it takes to reach max ability points? Isn't it like 10?
6 if you are starting at CL 1 and aiming for CL 99
1 > 20 > 39 > 58 > 77 > 96 > 99
How do people get like 240 ability points?
I thought it was way more than 6 transfers
Once you are in cathedral the cap is increased to 999 and you can keep going
Thats a lot more transfers though
Are you talking about Soul Clarity 999? That's a hell of a lot more transfers, like 52.
Both of those are way over the top and wholly unnecessary by the way. Even Soul Clarity 99 will break the entire endgame in half.
If a go down and back up the stairs will shiny treasure spots resets back?
No.
You gotta exit and re-enter the dungeon for treasure points to re-appear.
Similar skills work together? Like if i use both those skills will puppet be able to survive death two times?
As long as they dont have [Alike Exclusive] they will work together. There are some exceptions like Wonder Viande's multihit skills on a stunned target. For that one the double hit will always overwrite the 5~8 hit.
Do note that death damage =/= instakill spells. Only support cats can block instakill spells.
>Do note that death damage =/= instakill spells
>Curtain Call is specifically for insta-death attacks
haha
They are different effects.
Curtain Call is specifically for insta-death attacks and won't protect you from getting killed by normal damage, while Stubbornness is for normal damage and will not save you from insta-death attacks.
So where do I farm EXP in the Gardern Clositer?
In Refrain? That was long ago, i do not remember there good spots those exp slime were.
I'm like 33 hours in and just got to that Chancel place that has a bunch of switches and I think I accidentally didn't press one so I'm just going to never play the game again instead of going back to each switch and figuring out what went wrong.
switches you didn't activate are a different color than switches you did activate...
Oh guess I'm just retarded then.
Can you beat the entire game using only a single Attacker?
Probably, right?
If you abuse Synthesis enough you can make super broken gear even early game
It would probably be really rough in the early game, when you don't have any pacts with supporter slots.
How do I beat troll shaman in refrain? he's destroying my party
guys i can't beat the meat warrior minboss in apse 9...
blast with fire
thanks, i played without magic until now.
i am making 2 more mages, is there any reason to ever go with a flat scaling instead of a sharp scaling?
If you like when mages survive an AoE then flat or double-flat is the way to go.
Fire magic and praying for gore hits.
Hack writer.
True end story spoilers
So is it implied we should know who Nachi/Polka's birthmother is? With that line about her controlling 3m-something Puppet Soldiers I assume she's that Puppet King/Queen that some random crest in the game mentioned once. Am I forgetting something about the other Majo games that would imply who that is or is it just pure sequel bait with nothing there?
Generally implied to be Luca from Refrain
isnt it luca?
Really? I get she was blonde and had a spell cast on her to take on the haircolor of the person who adopted her and all that, but is that all the connection that's there? Luca wasn't particularly skilled in Alchemy, or Witchcraft in general, either from what I remember.
It's been a while since I played Refrain though, is there anything that actually implies that or is it just people grasping at straws since we never got anything more than her being blonde?
There's the idea of the player being a constant between the games, which means that Tractie and Fantie are the same spirit. Fantie is mentioned as being something of an old friend of Nachi's mother.
In the Jap QA, they straight up say that Nachi's mom is Kakarima.
The common belief in the JP community is that Kakarima is Luca, Kaka meaning mother and Rima being part of Luca's JP full name (Rimage Mezaluca Alma). In Refrain, the last request is given to you by Luca, and she gives you her hat as a reward, which is called the Kakarima's Tricorn Hat in JP.
Kakarima is also a name that appears often in Hundred Knight, there is a NPC called Kakarima's Lamp Post in the HQ that lowers the game difficulty, also on the final boss fight at the end, multiple shadows appear, and they are all share names witch witches that Luca mentions in the Refrain Postgame, one being Kakarima.
Also in Refrain's ending, Luca claims she is pregnant and she believes its a girl. The obvious father here is Neldo, who is a member of the world tree tribe, so that checks out. Nacho also has shark teeth like Luca's mother. (The translated version talks about Luca having an immaculate conception, which is completely different from what the JP says, where she talks about being pregnant and becoming a mother (kaka-sama)).
God damn it, dude. Are you telling me they even fucked up the translation for Refrain's ending? That's such a huge difference. Aight, I guess it's time to start learning kanji and grammar.
that explains the birdlike talons on one of nameless witch's forms
They make it pretty clear Nachi is from the Birdpeople Tribe, that's the only reason she's able to hop between worlds to begin with.
Are there any instances of a tile being reachable only by falling from the previous level? I had this thought within an hour of starting the game and some 60 hours later I don't think I've actually seen it anywhere.
Not in Galleria
Gotcha, I'll keep an eye out when I move on to Refrain.
Just downloaded this, what am I in for? Any tips? It better not be casual crap.
Just play the game anon.
You complaining about "casual crap" yet asking for help before you even started the game doesn't appear hypocritical at all to you?
My motives are complex. The answer I desire is "no, it's fucking hardcore duuuude, here's a tip so you don't get horribly raped in the first 5 minutes"
turn back
After you get the ability to break walls go here and have fun.
Play Refrain first.
No.
It's the better game if you are mostly in it for the HaRdCOrE DuNGEoN CraWLInG.
Galleria has far less dungeon diversity, a lot of QoL stuff that makes exploration way less punishing, and is seriously lacking in challenging boss fights.
Well, shit, I am in it for that. I can't believe I downloaded the wrong game. Why did the new game get better reviews? Was the last one too hardcore?
The new game has better story and characters.
I wouldn't quite say that, Refrain has really solid story and characters too
How's the music in the new one? I never played refrain, but I've been listening to the OST for 3 years. It's really good.
Its good but there isn't a lot of variation, apartment slaps though
It's much more approachable and the writing has a different vibe to it that seems to resonate more with people.
When it comes to dungeon crawling Refrain is held in much higher regard by pretty much everyone that played both though.
So Nachi was stuck in jail for 100 years and her real mom just watched and didn't give a fuck?
The way Mirage and her talked in the true end made it seem like her mom predicted everything and has some grand master plan for her, upon which Mirage mumbles to herself about Nachi having grown far more than her mom could have predicted and how she isn't just another one of her millions of puppets to play with as she pleases anymore.
I guess that makes sense but I can't really see Luca as some string puller that giggles about her grand keikaku while she throws her baby daughter out to live in a world teetering on the brink of destruction
That gives tons of hopes that Nachi is alive somewhere or can be revived in some form then.
Unfortunately from the Q&A it seems unlikely we'll ever see a sequel or see what that means.
The world wasn't teetering on a brink of destruction before she was sent, it was teetering on the brink BECAUSE she was sent as Cecilia colliding caused the worlds to split and time to dilate.
Right, I forgot about that for a second.
That honestly makes it even worse.
Just what the fuck could her plan be? That's not the Luca from Refrain I remember at all.
Nachi being sent to to Ur was an accident, but luca probably devised a plan for her after mirage was able to locate nachi.
the plan probably has something to do with stopping the discordance. from the q&a, it seems to be a major problem thats plaguing the entire Many Worlds. all we can really confirm is that the plan was successful even after all the suffering that happened.
the two parallel worlds would have went to shit anyways before long even without cecilia there to speed it up shit was unstable as hell from the get go
Anon the parallel worlds were formed because of their collision, it was fine before that
where did it say that and how the fuck is cecilia and the carriage colliding supposed to create an entire fucking mirror world with a long ass history
Both worlds share the same history, Alluna is just some centuries in the past of Alstella
Is Disgaea 7 good?
One of the best memories I have of gaming is autistically exploring every inch of Refrain and falling into the Divine Mausoleum when I saw a pitfall that didn't make sense way earlier than intended.
just beat the game and the true final boss. the ending was beautiful. all 110 hours were worth it.
i picked up refrain on sale, looking forward to it once I've had a breather.
Reminder that we will never get another Labyrinth game, and even if that is somehow wrong, it will have an even lower budget than Galleria.
What is the requirement for oracles pact / sun maiden pact first slot? It says eurues fate but I don't know what that means in this context vyx04g
Should be lucky number 71
Does the story/plot of refrain at least make more logical sense than galleria?
I'm very interested, but how they handled the last half of galleria really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Refrain's story is less convoluted than Galleria, yeah
Anyone have the sales for galleria?
>[PS4] Labyrinth of Galleria: Coven of Dusk (Nippon Ichi Software, 11/26/20) – 8,590 (New)
I gore hit the pillar in turn 1 and killed it, eat ass
Fuck, I shouldn't have skipped the procedurally generated floors in the Apratments. Now I'm more than 3k progress points short of the final Facet unlock. My brigade is almost all lvl 99 already. I want to have full access before I start planning and reincarnating...
The last facet is a 1h sword dps and the alt for it is a 1h sword/scroll dps.
>just realized I can change the type of the newly unlocked facets too
Reminder that Cecilia got away with everything and even gained a daughteru
>traveling between worlds
>bump into a baby traveling between worlds
>end up indirectly causing the death of that baby while you gain a happy ending
Just checking but is the optimize equipment option complete ass? It seems to just pick the weapon of higher proficiency even though there are others with better stats. Should I be manually assigning everything?
Just finished, what did I think of it
I'll try to forget the ending immediately since it's depressing shit.
>names of the tutorial facets
>kit is male
Bros....
Didn't they confirm that Kit was female though?
It could be because Nachi was confused about her gender at first, hinting that Marta thought about the first time they met when she made the puppet.
But according the the QA She's a mix of a young witch, a male cat (and a wise man from another dimension? am i reading that wrong?). I don't remember Marta ever being privy to that knowledge though.
what if the cat was male
That's cool
just got to apse 7
how do i kill bittern again? Its been a while since refrain
There's special ways to kill them? I just made my puppets all smack it and one of them always got the kill.
Mysterious pact has spells which instakill them. That or hammers.
Look closer, that's Apse. The only way to go through that door is to break the wall next to it.
>Mysterious pac
fuck don't have it
Ill have to rely on my Shino I guess
I'm not sure why he suggest it, that's a really late game pact. Shino's are your best bet, though there are plenty of early game spells- I don't remember if they'll do enough damage or not. Lamp fog, Flame dance, etc.
I can't believe Gartan has the nerve to complain about walls getting destroyed over and over while he puts pitfalls in front of doors.
Gartan didn't make the Apartment, bro...
Oh yeah, got any proof?
have you ever seen gartan in the apartment
That proves nothing. You're a filthy Gartan as well since I've never saw you.
Ah ok, now that's a solid argument.
my dad works at Apartment
>that one Gartan that trapped himself in walls
question about the true ending:
i see people say it's a bad/sad ending, but isn't it more bittersweet? Nachi disappears but her and Eureka built their ideal world. That part wasn't a dream, right? I agree the final ending in the flower field was likely a dream based on the context of the scene
>flower field was likely a dream based on the context of the scene
that's from part 1
reminder that this girl exists to be tortured and raped by onions before getting gored to death
Wrong. She's for rapport and Eury fresh dishes.
She is for breeding and tlc.
https://files.catbox.moe/mfqmeq.png
Can you do one for the other facets? A default shinomashira would be cool.
The brownie?
"If god doesnt exist, it is necessary to invent him."
if it's brown, flush it down
Yeah, a shark toothed one would be fine too.
I can probably get one done by tomorrow.
>In our 20s
>This technology is JUST making it's appearance
When I'm in my 40s I better be able to buy some life-sized android pussy for myself.
AI can already steal people's voices.
I hope women become obsolete in our lifetime.
Giving men this gift would solve overpopulation. Who gives a shit about passing on your genes to the next generation when you can spend your life with something that won't betray or deny you pleasures.
Who gives a shit about 3D?
Fuck that, fuck this gay world.
I just want full-dive VR so I can finally become 2D instead. Imagine being able to just spawn however many custom-made waifus you wanted instead of having to buy physical robots.
I don't get act 2
I just arrived at false alluna. How does doing shit in a memory world work in the real world? I can kind of suspend my belief when it came to grab the curio I hid in the labyrinth then retrieved it by entering the labyrinth again only via memory but how does it work in a fake/memory world? I'm so lost. Please explain this to me, I'm having an eureka moment.
It doesn't the real worlds are fucked either way. The dream world is a new world that can occupy the space left behind by the old worlds.
_________f[spoiler]ug. Thanks anon.[/spoiler]
Is there a trick to the third form of the very final boss of the Grand Cathedral? I get through the first two just fine but then my mages stop doing damage with their Donum at the third.
i luckshitted into a gorehit and she died before summoning a sword
Why are these games such grindy pieces of gay shit?
Nearly all the answers to most challenges are 'just grind bro' also why is everything outside of bosses a fucking auto attacker sim
Its made for autismos, not for normies
Why do i feel so weird when i read this, why do I like this pointless retarded humour?
>why do I like this pointless retarded humour?
old internet memes is a treasure
you don't have to grind if you're smart. if you're smart you're not asking how to play.
Give me tips, how do I play smart? Which pacts should I be using? What puppets in which support slots? Which puppets should I make?
just grind bro
There's actually enemies that require some strategy though. Like the robots in the apartment that fuck you up with counters, I found myself fortifying and just spamming donums with them.
There were those pink things that made everything else angry if you killed them.
I never ate any of Eureka's food.
i drank all of eury's special milk
So what will you guys play now
Something with a happy ending.
>finished octopath2
>finished galleria
what the fuck do I play
I want to start Hundred Knight but i still need to finish galleria...bros I don't want to grind...
Tokyo Necro's English release comes out today and is totally going to be extremely uplifting and won't have anything sad and depressing in it at all.
>Tokyo Necro
Gonna be kino but it won't be no Muramasa I bet.
Just to clarify, would the timeline of Becklin, Mora and Kamie be something like:
>Kamie, Neldo and Mora live on Yggdrasil until Mora destroys it for some reason somehow
>Kamie, Mora, and Becklin world hop together until Kamie and Mora have a disagreement, vote over something, and Kamie erases Mora's memories
>Mora ends up in Amadeus and changes her name to Furia, fights Velkuvrana/Zlavec which had probably followed her
>Furia makes her way through more worlds creating the Labyrinth of Refrain, then ends up in Tanis where she changes her name to Baba Yaga
>Neldo catches up to her after coming from an alternate timeline
>Kamie ends up on Alluna without hands for some reason and changes her name to Cecilia
I haven't played the Hundred Knight games yet so I am probably missing some context.
Tokyo Necro and Like A Dragon Ishin, more sloppy seconds from Japan that finally got translated. And soon I'll mooch off a friend's PS4 to play Hundred Knight.
i replayed Dragon Quest Builders 2 and now im just gong to sit on XIV because theres nothing else I want to play
I think Furia bodyjacks someone when she becomes Baba Yaga since she jobbed to the fucking fish in Campanula and lost her leg
So many games that released just prior and after Galleria, I just don't know. There's FE Engage, Ishin, Wo Long, Hi-Fi Rush, Samurai Maiden, Octopath 2, Pizza Tower, Crimson Sin, that other rance game that was just translated and some other stuff I don't remember/didn't save because my tabs crashed in incognito and so I couldn't recover them ;_;
I wanted to play another DRPG soI tried Mary Skelter 2, but it kinda sucked. The dungeons are really boring and look retarded. Guess I'll try another Etrian Odyssey since I only played 4.
Have you played Dungeon Travelers 2?
As far as dungeon crawling and gameplay go it's by far the best out of all these "modern DRPGs" I've played.
Are the dungeons put together like Labyrinth of Galleria where the stairs always go up and down to the exact same coordinate on the map? And does the map show you which way the steps go? MK2 was pissing me off because the stairs just go to random places sometimes, map doesn't tell you where they go, and you can't write labels. The floors in that game don't even fell like they are part of the same dungeon.
Yeah, they do. It's a very well designed game.
It has lots of thematically different dungeons each with their own gimmicks and really zero "filler exploration" like the Mary Skeleter games where you will spend hours walking through empty corridors that really have nothing going on in them.
I might check it out. I just looked and I already have it on my Vita from when I installed a bunch of games after I bought my sd2vita
Since I've seen people be confused by that, it's kinda like Refrain/Galleria in that the first time the credits roll you are barely through the tutorial and still have like 3/4 of the game left by the way.
It's a very long game with a shitload of content.
In the later half of the postgame dungeon. It's really not as special as it looks by then.
I played DT2 for a few hours and its way better than MK2 so far. The dungeon/map is already way better. No idea why people say MK2 is so good, it felt really shitty to to play with the character gimmicks in the dungeons. They were way, way overused to the point of being annoying. The story book characters are pretty lame as well.
probably because you're supposed to play skelter in order and you're starting with the second game
The recommended order I found said play 2 first. You can't even play the first on the Switch version until you beat 2
then whoever recommended you that order is a retard, duh
The order doesn't really matter.
The "intended" experience is MS1 -> MS2-> MS1 Remake that came bundled with MS2, but obviously nobody in their right mind is going to play MS1 twice even if the remade version has some small story---------------------------- changes.
Mary Skelter 1 isn't good either.
It has a very interesting setting (that's horribly underutilized), a few fun characters (that don't get to do much of anything), and a cool artstyle, but everything else is kinda mediocre to straight up horrible.
Glad you are enjoying it so far, it's a really good game.
>EObabs continue to get filtered by kino.
Lmao.
That's not the case for Mary Skelter. The devs intended players to either play MS1 first then MS2, or play MS2 first then the remake of MS1 which comes with MS2. Both orders seem intended to me but and those jumping in now should start with MS2.
>tfw played MS1, MS2, and MS1 again without the skip because my game was bugged
Stranger in Sword City was fun just because you can edit portraits and upload any image you want for your characters
Void Terrarium 2
>JP name for final boss is Witch Who Forget Her Name
>EN name for final boss is Nameless Witch
Going to blame it on textbox space issue but man does this bug me.
does anyone have a build guide for galleria?
you want to start with wonder viande on everyone because of the exp boost, super core, omoplata and beating rush trivializes the game so much it's not even funny
you can refurb your puppets, the discounts from starting viande don't matter when you want big 40-60 cost skills from other facets anyway, one of which could be your starter
speccing into stun, magic and dps is pointless, just make every DPS into stun+gorecrit+multihit
1h+1h is wonder viande, then aster crow, then shinomashira, for endgame transfer to shinobushi, then back to shinomashira
2h melee is viande, then aster crow, then gothic coppelia, for endgame transfer to gratonia, then back to coppelia
2h ranged is viande, then gothic coppelia, then gothic gratonia, for endgame transfer to fable eclipse, then back to gratonia
4h (reapers) are viande, then aster crow, then gothic coppelia, then reaper, for endgame transfer to prima cupid then back to reaper
mages are viande, then magia concierge, then aster ashe, for endgame transfer to magia maid, then back to aster ashe
tanks are viande, then aster crow OR wonder corsair, then peer fortress, for endgame transfer to peer chariot, then back to peer fortress
for a hero gigachad puppet, viande, then shinobushi, then gratonia, then am alchymia, for endgame transfer to am altea then back to alchymia
yes, you have to transfer to the final facet twice, don't be mad about it either, you have to build soul clarity for the stats and skill points to actually equip all that
alternatively you can skip it and end on the final facet only once, but you will have to reincarnate into the final facet twice or thrice for soul clarity anyway
on autistic setups a lot of transfers are for small low cost skills to extreme minmax and build clarity, this skips that complexity and just gets you to the important stuff at the cost of having to build soul clarity separately
is wonder viande even available at the start
no you need to create new puppets from scratch
once you have the 666% exp pact you can basically get to soul clarity in an hour or two
>soul clarity
99
Just do what feels right to you.
The game, even on Nightmare difficulty, isn't difficult enough to warrant any kind of minmaxing.
If you follow one of the guides you will just completely trivialize the entire game to a point you might as well just be watching a playthrough - I'm completely serious.
Install Counter Strike: Source, retard.
>get to the Manor
>wiccards are fat as fuck, take eternity to kill, impossible to escape, and can pretty much wipe your party if rng isn't in your favor
>game locks access to the previous dungeon for grind
What the fuck were Nis thinking?
Just turn to easy until you wipe pillars and go to the bittern spot bro
Lemme guess, you skipped and/or didn't stockpile Cartiervita?
>skipped
I beat all the bosses there, means my level is good enough
are fat as fuck
heh
Just get a Mysterious Pact, level it up to get Flame Dance IV, and let them have it. It's a blunt/flame All donum, and it obliterates pretty much everything in the game since almost nothing resists both blunt and flame. If they're weak to one, they'll take full damage.
Im grinding rigth now on the rigth side of garden, there no wiccards and there eggs that sometimes spawn those exp blobs.
This game seems interesting but I'm worried that managing 16 puppets, both in combat and with gearing/skilling them, will be a massive hassle. Is anything done to help streamline this or is it a massive time sink?
Don't worry anon, this game is a massive time sink whether you minmax or puppets or not
They're split into groups, you issue orders per coven (which will be 1 to 3 puppets), so you aren't going to be telling all of them to something specific. Messing wish their skills will end up eating a lot of time, especially if you do go ahead and soul transfer every puppet multiple times. Gearing can just be done once in a while for the most part. Personally, when it came to equipment, I just focused on one puppet in particular and the rest got new stuff whenever I felt like taking a bit of time to do so.
>but I'm worried that managing 16 puppets
just press the auto optimize all button and call it a day
in combat you effectively only control 5 characters that has more little dudes inside of them
Thats good, I was hoping I wouldn't have to be ultra specific in gearing each one like a full party member.
This is a game you'll be playing every night before bed for like two months, don't sweat it. Like the other anons said, there's an auto-optimize function you can rely upon (and it's been working just fine for me ~60 hours in).
>play it all day
>finish it in around a week
Does Galleria have any meme builds capable of soloing the game?
Nothing as busted as Refrain.
The game is generally far easier though so you would probably be able to do it with most classes if you grind a bunch.
you could probably do something dumb with this if you max out your charm
>150%
Holy shit isn't that thrice as busted as Refrain's Charmer pact? Where do you get it?
It's only obtainable at the very, very, end of the game when you have lots of other pacts that are just as good, if not better, already.
For example the Thundering Pact in that picture just straight up doubles the combat stats of all three Puppets slotted into it.
With enough Grand Cathedral gear, you can max out anything.
Wiccards tongue my anus
Jesus Christ as if these gay birds weren't already annoying enough now they show up everywhere in packs
Stun chance 1 (+1)
i just got to the credits roll, i now i need to look for something to change the story right?
You need to do all requests and talk to Bocklin in Narthex 7, then watch the ending again
Are you asking to be spoiled on potential things happening in the future of the game
no i don't want to be spoiled, i was afraid i was missing something obscure but as
said it's just all requests
the first one
There's like 4 credits which one lmao
Is there a list of loot that are safe to sell?
Anything that isn't currently asked for in your request list.
Honestly it doesn't matter that much since you can always just buy back anything you sell, anytime.
>anytime
unless you wait too long and they get pawned off
like 99% of it just look at your requests and get rid off the rest
spoilerless guide
keep anything with rock or gem in the name, except the standard 1 silver rock of course
keep anything that looks like a feather or has feather in the name
keep all sin fruits
in fact, if it looks like a cooking ingredient (garlic, salt, honey, acorns, potatoes, etc) do not sell it
keep any goblets, chalices, vases, plates, spoons, etc too
if it's art, it's bad to sell it, keep anything that looks really fancy like scales, paintings, spheres, hourglasses, flowers and roses
you will need around 35 bones of each type for stock soup, sell the rest
that's kind of it
>except the standard 1 silver rock of course
heh
fine, scratch that, keep all rocks and gems
though pretty sure it wasn't more than 15 so you should always have some without even trying
>we will never get a sequel
HOW DO I COPE?
>we will never get a sequel
Prove it.
What was the skill builder site? I'm nearing level 99 and have to start soul transferring.
https://cecilbowen.github.io/galleriaclassbuilder/
Rapid Venator's resuscitation on cats kicks ass.
Arigathank you
NO NO NO NO NO I JUST FUCKING BEAT THE FINAL BOSS FUCK OFF
>Final boss
ehehe
Good job friend now go complete the game
what was up with this stupid fucking bird
play the game
it was the demon galleria made a pact with, or rather was forced to make a pact with thanks to ceci
notice how it only tries to stop you if you try get the curios but doesn't really give a shit otherwise, and even then it barely tries to stop you
then in the apartments when galleria made the wardrobe without ceci it turns out he made the pact too, so the guy is still going schizo trying to keep his art safe somewhere deeper than cartiervita
The bird is not a demon. It's a Manania. Considering the bird motif most likely Cecilia made them to keep her children (the Curios d'Art) safe.
Where's the 35th Curio I got the bad ending again even after reloading plz help.
You don't need every Curio yet, only all the curios d'art. Did you complete every request? Did you talk to Bocklin?
You need every Curio d'Art. The only one you should be missing is the Screw, you get it for doing all the Requests.
I did all the requests. Bocklin?
Bottom of Narthex.
I don't remember needing to talk to him but he's in the lowest floor of Narthex, blocking a Wardrobe.
You talk to him to get Fantie his powers "back".
the ending doesn't change if you did everything right choosing to restart from beginning puts you in act 2
I did that, I thought it was another "fakeout" ending like Refrain, so I reloaded, it said I had to "look for something I missed", then I counted all my curios and I only had 34 when the beginning of the game said there were 35. But I tried doing the witch report but got the same exact cutscenes.
Checking right now thanks.
I think the last curio is in Apse, behind those force arrows. I have to assume you get it later, because I was able to move on without it.
i'm gonna go mad... where's the fucking switch
Break more walls anon
i'm gonna break every single brown wall from now on fuck gartan
I wonder.
Did I like it
complete the last part
but the Q&A said it was optional
do it for nachi
?
>went mad spouting about the meaning of flowers
nice catch
>Over time numerous meanings have become associated with the daisy. The most widely accepted meanings are purity and innocence. Sending a wild daisy has the special meaning “I will think of it” or “I will hope.” A garden daisy may mean “I share your feelings” or “I share your sentiments.” An Ox-eye Daisy symbolizes patience. Other meanings associated with the daisy are faith, cheer, simplicity, loyal love, beauty, gentleness, youth, modesty, and romance.
Since when do pacts gain donums with levels? Is it just this one?
Just the Mysterious Pact.
why was eureka's dad so mean
His wife cheated on him and his favorite child took her side while he was stuck with the retard that takes after her mother and reminds him of her cheating on him every day of his life.
yeah but eureka was cute...
me on the left
should I worry about shit like favorites and lucky numbers at the start or just jump in? I didn't play refrain so it's all new to me
favorite stuff is just for flavor text
lucky numbers are whatever, do 98 if you want to play it safe but that's kind of it
No, it's not too important. There's a few pacts that require puppets with certain lucky numbers, but the few I can think of only lock a supporter slot behind that.
No. Favorites are just a flavor thing and outside of one extremely lategame thing you'd make a special character for anyways Lucky Numbers don't really matter in Galleria.
you need an even number to use the 666% exp pact
don't be like me where all your old puppets are odd
What do lucky numbers do? I remember in Refrain there was a pact that gave you bonuses depending on the lucky number, but I can't remember what it does.
Same in Galleria, they are only for special Pacts that require special Lucky Numbers to be used.
Used for some Pacts.
There's only one Pact they are used for that's actually good and that one has the number requirement in a support slot and is kind of spoilery so you shouldn't worry about it.
I beat the third act... Now what do I do? Also why did it have to end so open ended with multiple characters alluding to meeting again, or just vague shit being thrown at you last minute like the whole exchange between Mirage and Nacho's real mom. Kinda annoying when another game supposedly isn't even on the table. And did Eureka actually meet Nachi again at the very end or is the game just fucking with me to pretend there's a happy ending? Loading clear data talks about unexplored parts of the labyrinth and 'secrets' in the story, what's that about?GOTY 2023
Read the Q&A
It touches on that. Basically they ran out of time/money and the 3rd part was rushed and unfinished
I don't speak please translate kudasai
She's glad the spider is safe. I just wanted an excuse to post nightgowl Dronya.
Man I really have to watch the ending in Japanese to see if what that one anon said about Luca actually being pregnant with Neldo's child was true.
What? I thought it was literally your child.
books can't get pregnant
Nani? In the translation it said it was immaculate but then some anon said it was wrong and was actually Neldo's.
I'm getting really confused now.
Here you go anon, the text in JP and the rough translation using deepL
https://pastebin.com/kLmAVW0P
Tldr, it says nothing about immaculate conception, just mentions that only a soul witch can understand the feeling of a soul being born inside her
Reading this (the nip text) REALLY makes me certain that Luca is Nacho's mother. There's just no way she isn't.
Is there anything about the jp text that isn't clear in the translation?
looked at it and nah, not really
the Pastebin that is, it's weird that the ingame translation is kind of different
Is there a reason not to put donum efficiency on every supporter of a mage coven? Seems too good to be true.
go ham and spam 1 million damage each turn
No, there is not. You should also have Donum Master on every supporter too.
It's an extra Soul Transfer step and honestly just kind of extremely overkill.
I guess if you don't have enough skill points to have both donum efficiency and donum master you'd pick one or the other. My mage coven by the post-game was casting expensive spells for like 50dp while having over 30k to spare.
There's not much reason to go to the effort when Flame Dance IV costs 200 DP and you have 20,000 or whatever max
it's hardly even an effort
It's an extra soul transfer step and costs 50 fucking points, it's quite a lot of effort if you want to use it on all your cats
you don't even need cats either
just level up some mages while you're doing other stuff
Cats are extremely useful for the insta-death prevention.
While not mandatory it's about a billion times more useful than the DP cost reduction you are advocating for.
>encounter 3 nukes in one fight
>all but 2 puppets survive
What the fuck do I do about these things?
I checked their resists and they have low mud res but none of my pacts have mud donum.
make two mud exits, heal, and carry on
this game has genuinely brought tears to my eyes multiple times now
I'm worried that the ending might actually break me
don't worry Anon, everyone is happy and smiling during the ending
I got sad a bunch during the main story but I only actually cried at the ending.
refrain broke me, i went into galleria with nothing to fear
Doronia-sama we're almost at the surface, p-please keep walking forward...
I'm playing Refrain. Should I do this as soon as it's available? One of my puppet's that has Fortunate luck has gotten her legs gored twice so far and I only just got to the third floor.
Yes
Fuck this butter macaron for real though.
i didn't bother with most of the requests
What happens if I plunder from the darkness too much?
you get an item if you're lucky, fight a reaper if you're unlucky
not a big deal
Abyss-dweller's stone. Nice.
>REAPED.com
I might be mistaken, but weren't there only two Nellie's children heads that Go brought with him? What happened to the third one in that case?
You are right, she had three kids. I don't think that it's stated what happened to the third one or her husband.
we'll surely get the answer in the next witch game...
>spend 6 months stalking a family to see which kid the parents love the least
>leave that kid alive and get rid of the others
>cartier random map generates two exits
Is one of those a trap?
No, it just happens from time to time.
Why was it troubled by the door not opening
So what were the wiccards supposed to be anyway? I forgot
cecilia's familiars protecting the curios since her unborn babies souls are in there
yfw when you finally have a dick and you are about to go home to plow the servant boy.
It was the opposite, he was getting porked by Norton who has hair now.
Where are you getting this? I got he was being abused sure but where was it ever stated to be norton? He seemed like a cool old guy.
Nowhere. Anon is just hating on Norton for being a wholesome albeit weird old guy.
Did you miss the part where Norton was implied to be sexually abusing him and him wanting to become a boy mainly so that would stop?
Just got back from Almoon, how far into the game am I?
Halfway maybe
bros how do I scrounge up motivation to do a bunch of grinding and progressing into part 3?
If you don't feel motivated to then quit
Going up the Cathedral is not necessarily a good thing, the game makes that more than fucking clear
Eat a handful of spoons and just rush to the final level. It's not that bad. It's still bad though
[End Everything]
Switch to gentle. That's what I did. Other than Betton blocking me a couple of times it wasn't that bad.
BECKLIN YOU PIECE OF SHIT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Well? Are you enjoying yourself?
Those are piss easy in Galleria Manor.
It's the Sea Salt that will take you hours.
>It's the Sea Salt that will take you hours.
bro? your 62400 mana fifth floor narthex?
It took me 5 minutes to farm 3 sea salts at Narthex F6 lol
Luckshitters don't count.
I spent a good 3 hours to get 2 of them and two of my friends took way longer than even that.
>His parents didn't name him Amaterasu.
Many such cases.
Okay lucklet.
Last floor Narthex in the bottom left corner is better. Don't even need to take in mana.
Finally got to the second arc and did the game just give up? A procedurally generated dungeon sounds like absolute fucking cancer.
I had the same reaction, but things should become clear if you go up a few levels.
blame NIS running out of money because they keep fucking up Disgaya
You get a "Special Ticket" that lets you skip from Fixed to Fixed Floor so you don't have to do much of the procedural generated shit thankfully.
But yeah, it's really shitty and really lazy. It's pretty obvious they had serious budget issues in this game when you look at the dungeons and shit like enemy/boss variety.
I'm just glad that with everything that ended up on the cutting board, they left the story mostly intact, since that's definitely the strongest part of the game.
Unfortunately they say in the Q&A that the later parts of the story suffered greatly, many things were cut and they apologized.
I'm happy with what we got. Any longer would be crazy.
If this is the zero budget chopped down version, I can't imagine what the original vision was
1000 hours of suffering
15 acts
7th dimensional time paradoxes and matryoshka doll memory recreations of worlds
36000+ years (floors) of grand cathedral
kino
K-kino.
+ years (floors) of grand cathedral
At that point I think I would just fucking cheat.
Sure, some things were poorly explained like baby Nachi and Cecillia bumping into each other while world hopping to Uru causing the whole world split, but at the very end there's nothing really critical left unexplained.
It's really easy though, you can just use the ticket to skip to the non-random floors.
What's a quick way to level pacts for disassembling them?
Farm Reapers if you are strong enough.
If not just go to any area with lots of FOEs and murder them over and over.
Reaper farming in Narthex B1. By far the fastest way. Just blow them up with magic.
I just unlocked Galleria Manor and I had a random thought during the cutscenes before
Without spoiling, could I get answers to some questions so I can see if my idea was on the right track, because I can't remember for sure
1. When Eureka summoned Fantie the first time, didn't Marta make her drink something?
2. did Nachi also drink the same thing when she got Fantie or no?
Yes, No.
Alright, thanks homie
you know you can replay event stories right
I didn't
Also I'm at work and so I can't right now, but I wanted to confirm if my memory was right because this game is living rent free in my head
cats love to play with balls
What changes with higher coven levels?
Cost is reduced, thats about it
For the mysterious pact you learn new donums. Refrain also has two pacts that behave in a similar way iirc
Oh
So outside of those I can just disassemble them at any level when I don't need to use them anymore?
Ah, for disassembling you need to pay some points to get certain spells, like the mage pacts its 1 point for fire, 2 for mud and 3 for fog, so you need a level 6 pact if you want all of them
True ending questions. If Marta still had her immortality sizzurp wouldn't Uru Nachi also have some? Would it matter considering she suffers from non-mortality related disappearance? Does anything matter if the interview said she's gone? Maybe when the third game comes out in 2045 they'll retcon QA lore.
Probably if Nachi in the memory world actually brought it with her. However, the Marta that's in the memory world is just a puppet. The real Marta died of old age in Alstella before they could even throw her inside the memory world. Basically Marta is just a dumbass and should have drank the elixir and got another one for Eureka. There's no indication that the elixirs are that rare considering every witch gets one
>Basically Marta is just a dumbass
No... My Queen.....
Yeah you're probably right. I forgot if they explain it, but considering she's an alchemy prodigy, you'd think she'd be able to play her cards a little better when it comes to longevity. She only really gets a pass for being old as shit as is due to her being a part of the "Master Race". Man what a fucking waste.
good luck gathering everything for another elixir when the world is less than 100 hours away from ending and you still barely made it despite rushing
Go through the events again, bro. Nachi had 20 years out of jail to do whatever the fuck she wanted. Enough time for Faus to grow up, become a witch, and get pregnant.
are you forgetting when she recovered her memories anon? those 20 years were still functionally her as nothing but a neet
Why would that stop her from making an elixir? She still had her magic powers and alchemy knowledge.
why are you assuming she magically knows how to make complex shit like that when she didn't even know how to make her own medicine?
She was a alchemist/healer not a neet, wasn't she?
the elixir wouldn't have helped since marta didn't die of old age. the UP doc did her in and the only things slowing it down was ghilruda's meds and her mother's protection spell(even faus's resurrection wasn't able to cure it).
The Q&A straight up says Nachi refused to drink the elixir out of some dumb guilt about her mother.
Yeah and if the reason is that contrived I'm gonna dunk the writer's head in the toilet and give him a swirlie.
Reminder that Nachi gave the last curio of her own will to Cecilia even with everyone, including her ugly mom, telling her not to do so and thus caused the apocalypse. She fucked up so many times
>the story was about two melodramatic teenagers in bad situations doing things so retarded, only teenage girls could have possibly done them
Marta gets a pass because she probably suffered permanent brain damage after being lobotomized by Cecilia for a millennium.
It was hilarious when Cecilia immediately told her she can't revive the dead mom after she got the curio. Like didn't even lie or lead her on, just immediately showed Nachi what a dumbass move she made
I mean on one hand she wasn't a downie-tier retard like Eureka, but she had a lot more power and influence and therefore a cataclysmic potential to fuck everything up. Potential she certainly lived up to.
What did Konyac do to Kay at the end of Arc 1? Did he force her to abort? What did the reporter find out using the lie detector curio? Are all these answered later? I'm so confused.
All of those are explained, yes.
There isn't really anything big that's not eventually explained.
Now fuck off, or do you want the entire game ruined for yourself?
They didn't explain what happened to the child though.
They do anon
What child are you talking about? Because they did for every child I can think of.
i was going to shitpost "even X?" with X being some obscure shit but i actually can't think of anyone
Nelli's 3rd kid
What's there to explain? Geaux just decided to keep one alive. Probably to make that one kid REALLY depressed since his mom and other siblings all died horrifically
akshually pretty sure he was the one she called an adult, so he's not technically a child
close, he just starting school and was probably still there when geaux went to their home.
If you're just at the end of Act 1, then yeah all that with Konyac and Kay will be answered. The reporter thing is technically answered later(it's shown the reason for the revolution) but what exactly he did using the screw isn't explained.
Can't figure out what I should do for my first soul transfers
Just do whatever and when you figure it out, just do it again.
Safe bet is to switch them to the alternate type of the facet.
Do this.
>Grinding 3 characters instead of 8
For me, it's Shinomashira with group range swords.
Idk if that was the intention, but Geaux had me chuckling with the absurdity.
Man i can't believe I never tried any of the in-battle reinforces until now
I can just triple reinforce my bro's offense and delete everything what the fuck
Worth doing for bosses for sure. Getting First Twinkle and reinforcing the puppet with it after buffing is ridiculous.
I really need to start this game.
I finally think I'll be able to finish the other two simultaneous games that I am currently playing. And with that finally done I'll finally be able to start another. And I am looking forward to this being it.
>almost out of platinum spoons
DAMMIT MISTER SCOTT I NEED THOSE STEPS
In the first game, should I just form pacts with same facet puppets or can I mix different ones?
For Marginal Mazes and Peer Fortresses, yes, you want them to stick together. Otherwise, just keep puppets who have the same weapon range together.
I see thanks, I'm starting to get different pacts and it's a bit confusing.
how do the rings work exactly
If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it
One ring pairs up two puppets, which maxed out their rapport. Only one ring can be used per puppet. The different rings are just for roleplaying/shipping/building funny relationships.
You don't really need to use rings at all, but do it because there's voice lines for it that you don't hear otherwise.
>trying to level up mage pact to 6 so i can disassemble it so I can actually use the spells
How are you supposed to know how much Covin experience this shit needs?
Seems like max level takes over 1000 EXP with each level requiring more than the previous one. Reapers give 75exp, elites/bosses 15 or more and regular enemy encounters give 1 exp.
Just go kill KFC at F2 Narthex or reapers at F1 idk.
Did pacifiers really used to look like this? The oldest I could find from a google search looks like any old pacifier you could find these days, except made with some other material.
looks like a wooden buttplug
In the olden times we'd plug the baby's butts to make them stop crying
With how different things were a century ago, I can't tell if you're lying or not and I don't want my handler to ask me any questions when he looks up whatever I google.
>A beautiful woman with one-length black hair and long slit eyes, she is a witch whose real name is unknown and is commonly known as Scarlett. She is also one of the characters for whom we would have liked to have a bust-up if possible. ・・・・・
>Her personality is that of a manly and winsome older sister. She is located within a few dozen meters of herself. She can control liquids with her mana and manipulate them at will. The liquid under her control turns red, and so she is called "Scarlett of the Blood Retention.
Although the situations are limited, she often teamed up with Neri and Claristia on missions to fight from a clear vantage point without being seen.
What does "Stat awakening condition" mean?
if you have that much of that stat, the item gets stronger
If a puppet doesn't meet the stat requirement the item gets nerfed.
Flop series. Sequel never.
fantie just sitting there giving no shits
We just gotta believe like when hk2 flopped.
Remember to regularly hose down your witch.
conceptualize the aroma
>doesn't exercise
>sits in bed all day
>doesn't eat healthy
>doesn't bathe
>still has a perfect body and perfect skin
Defend this.
Obviously the answer is magic.
bird DNA is some shit
World Tree tribe genes
cute pantsu
Far as I can tell she barely eats anything at all and just happened to win the tit lottery, not that she has any pride in them whatsoever. I bet she's the type to genuinely say they hurt her back without a single bit of awareness of what she's saying there to a cutting board chest
man, roux was kind of a lame replacement for nacchan, I don't recall seeing a single person even call her that in these threads
eureka calls her nachi, that would have stuck regardless
and nacho is funnier
Achi! Achi!
Discordance didn't drop any A8 meat
Why live
What would it taste like
marshmallow peeps
should've went with nachos
Cotton candy meat
these superbosses in Refrain are nuts
curiosity brought me here, and disgust will carry me away
>Wind Blade
So based on this shit on the bottom, I do NOT want to use this spell on a mage squad, and I DO want to use this on a melee squad, is that right?
you're better off just attacking normally tbh
I'm trying to round out my brigade's attacks. I have 4 blunt attackers, 1 pierce, and my tank. And when something is strong against blunt, I struggle.
have you tried hitting harder?
Pretty much, but like the other anon said, most of the time you're better off just using regular attacks. But when your stats get high enough they'll do good damage.
Just started the game, currently exploring around the second region. Found a Legendary Great Shield that's worth 80k mana when disassembled... It's way way more than anything else in my inventory. Is it safe to disassemble it? Or is there a reason why it is worth so much mana?
I disassembled it. I haven't used a shield on anybody so I just said fuck it
Alright thanks, I disassembled mine as well
>enemies can guard against spells
this is a bad system
Spells are already the best offensive option you have by far, how much better do you want them to be?
But you can also guard against spells
Or did you want all of your ningyohei getting gored by every AoE with no chance of avoiding
>guarding ever
the only time i'm not attacking is if i'm buffing to make my attacks stronger
Guard is a passive chance to null damage, it happens even if you attack
why didn't memory Nachi die from the ash affliction
she killed the cause of it and became a god-like being
She went sicko mode.
Which characters use Scythes properly? Every character I've tried does 0 damage with it
My primas do good with it
I soul transferred them to both primas, then the gothics to get the 2h buffs and then back to primas
I use scythes on the hammerguy, he has A or A+ proficiency in scythes and doesn't have shit defense like the reaper e-boi
That's fine early on but later a non-prima facet won't be able to get equip all the skills needed.
>won't be able to get equip all the skills needed.
he's gucci
what an absolute gigachad
>tfw missed a brief moment where I could've armed my aster crow with a broom and it would've been BiS stat-wise
It's ogre, bros. Unrelated tangent: Mira Machinas feel like a poorly thought out addition. Not only you have to spend a turn, power source and DP to summon them, they also have summon limit per battle and they also self-destruct during the encounter. It wouldn't be the problem if the shit that they do also wasn't fairly underpowered or delayed like hell or at least if it was properly described or catalogued (in-game) what they actually fucking do.
Tbh I went the entire game and the only one I used that felt like it did anything was that one that gave you giga hp wall in front of you on dying covens.
I have no idea otherwise what they did. But yeah, they're very poorly thought out in cost vs usefulness.
There's also one that gives you a wall in front of every coven with a living member, regardless of HP. That's the only one I really used.
Not to mention theres a chance they will spend a turn doing absolutely nothing but just letting you know they exist.
>hp hit on attack can kill you instead of leaving you at 1 hp
Just got killed by a door that led into 3 consecutive pits in Cartiervita.
I hate Gartan so fucking much it's unreal.
But thats his cousin, Apartan.
No, it's Cartan.
>random legendary 1 handed crossbow
On my final attempt at at the witch with no name I managed to kill her before summoning the sword in phase 2 and the fight just ended? As in, no phase 3 I just got met with a victory screen anticlimactically and fight ended. Was this supposed to happen?
Probably a bug. It happened to me too the first time I fought her.
WTF you all told me Eureka was a big dummy, not some sort of scholar!
she literally cheats on her tests
She cheats. Yes, her name is a reference to this artist.
Eury wouldn't do that! She's a good girl!
When people are happy they give her high scores 🙂
>This is a bit off topic, but we originally planned to have a special silhouette demo for the current "True End," and to have all the trophies and the story completely end there.
>The Grand Cathedral was positioned as the end content after the True End, and the number of levels was also chosen because of the meaning of "endless trials for the creation of the world.
>However, for various reasons, we had no choice but to simplify the true ending, and at the same time, the story did not feel like it was closed neatly there. Also, the number of levels is not well adjusted for the game.
>I am very sorry for this situation.
It's over.
Nothing that can't be fixed by making Labyrinth 3 and actually giving it some budget.
Bro, don't look at the Galleria sales numbers...
I doubt NIS makes these games expecting them to sell more than 20k copies.
what? in japan it bombed cause it released as a vita exclusive now its on everything and selling pretty well.
>They are the inhabitants of another world, glimpsed by Gathan's "spatial mutation device". In other words, it is as if the frequencies of the radio happened to coincide.
>This event ends with a short conversation, but in fact, I had planned to access this other world from here and start the story in each world
>However, as it turns out, for various reasons, we were not able to incorporate these elements into the event, and as a result, only a few of the inhabitants of the other worlds appeared in the event.
>This is a bit of a developmental issue, but when looking at the game as a whole, we knew that the random dungeons would increase in weight if we eliminated them, so our development staff scrambled to see if we could somehow incorporate these other worlds and events in the underground labyrinth, but unfortunately we had to give up. Unfortunately, we had to give up.
>We are very sorry for the users who were looking forward to the "story in the underground labyrinth" similar to that of the Ruf Witch.
Also this seems like it's referring to these random ass sprites that appeared once each and never again. Clear development cut when they were stingy as fuck with sprites and these get them but people like Scarlet don't.
how over is it
These memes are great.
We WILL get a Labyrinth 3 with a higher budget and conclusive story, right?
Sure, in like 5 years or something, but with even less budget and an even less conclusive story.
it will be a gacha autobattler and the only labyrinth will be the cathedral
>you fight with random mira machinas only
>enemies are exlusively gacha eggs
>dungeons are generated by Gartan and Apartan dream team
You mean Apartan and Cartan. No budget for handcrafted Gartan dungeons.
By Gartan I mean Gartan. He will distribute pitfall wedges via minesweeper algorythm, throw down random cursed mud patches here and there and sanity areas no one asked for.
High quality artisanal oceans of cursed mud
I thought you were all shitposting... I already wasn't having fun in this section, now I'm REALLY not having fun. I was told this game was less depressing than Refrain.
la bike de soleil
>less depressing than Refrain
Whoever told you that is a sadist, it only gets worse
Honestly Refrain probably has a more hopeful ending. Nachi is pretty fucked
by me
Remember the time Nachi literally talked Eury into committing suicide
haha just a prank bro
>What did you mean by true ending?
>The true ending was intended to be the one where the story is finished and the world is stable and the player can destroy it at will if he/she doesn't like "this repeating world". But as a result, it was expressed as if it was necessary to go on to the Grand Cathedral. However, one of the major points of regret is that it was expressed in such a way that it is mandatory to proceed to the Gran Cathedral.
Grand Cathedral was supposed to be optional if you wanted the other world instead.
This game with twice the budget would have been kino af tbh
Seems like it would have fixed all the issues
I came for the hopeless task of saving the cute blonde retard. I am now seriously considering taking up smoking with the hope lung-cancer kills me before this does.
I just started apartments and it doesn't quite have the same charm; but I'm going to stick with it. I'm more peeved with starting from fresh puppets and covens.
Naturally, I have no idea what the fuck is going on.
Just got all my fuckin puppets back and I'm completely overwhelmed
