Don't people find these Paradox Pokémon insulting?
The REAL Donphan has to evolve and learn moves to be competitive; meanwhile this thing just exists wholesale. It's objectively better without any of the hard work you put into actually raising Pokémon. Roaring Moon is the worst offender; isn't it mean to be HARD to raise an endgame Dragon Pokémon?
At least they are based on final evos.
i feel more bad for mismagius and wigglytuff who are now just inferior to fancy versions of their earlier stages
I feel you've sidestepped the actual issue. I'm not making a case that "raising any Pokémon has to be difficult", it's more that have a standalone, more competitive Salamence upgrade be its own unrelated official entry in the roster actively shits on and dismisses the legacy of the original. Were it a form change, Mega, or some other variant of Salamence itself, it would provide a reason for it to be based on that Pokémon. As it is now, there are just "better" versions of certain Pokémon out there just for the hell of it. If someone liked Roaring Moon or Great Tusk because of Salamence or Donphan, at what point does liking the original get superseded by the new version? Why not just come up with completely new designs if they're going to shit on the old ones? At least Garchomp had some tact and originality instead of simply being a jacked-up Flygon. Why bother having so many different Pokémon if there are just going to be objectively better, easier-to-manage ones later on, that don't need to be bred, raised or evolved at all?
Oh ok, I just dont care about legacy, they would all get powercrept sooner or later anyways.
Also its very likely that none of these paradoxes will leave this gen.
>Oh ok, I just dont care about legacy, they would all get powercrept sooner or later anyways.
But why? In my opinion (i.e. don't get bootyblasted) that's a terrible outlook on an IP whose biggest and best resource is the creatures themselves. You could literally erase all Pokémon games and merch from existence and people would be able to recreate them from memory because they love them and know them. The value, the PRODUCT of Pokémon IS the Pokémon themselves. Doesn't matter what form they come in; like Hello Kitty they themselves are the product. Just because Yokai Watch normalised infinite variations on any given character does not make that a good idea especially considering Yokai Watch is no longer popular after spending a very short time in the public consciousness.
My point is that it doesn't matter if there are SOME shitmons; it does matter if every gen someone's favourite is actively shit on and overshadowed by an objectively superior version for the paltry purpose of "getting muh bigger audience". I don't know why marketers never consider that audiences CAN actually get smaller as well.
>Also its very likely that none of these paradoxes will leave this gen.
Standard procedure is that anything that gets a Pokédex number isn't bound by abandoned mechanics. That said, the dexcut would facilitate this.
no they weren't. they were one of the laziest ideas that gamefrea ever made. gamefreak needs to be ridiculued for their laziness 24/7 or else the games will continue to get worse and worse oever time
stop spamming the samething over and over again, filthy homosexual. Now kys.

What about Magnezone?
I can’t tell which one’s better
I forgot sandy shocks even exists honestly
yeah it just isn’t that good
but it’s definitely weird, they nailed the paradox vibe
This mentality should have died years ago with expcandy, nothing is hard anymore, well it was never hard really just tedious.

Another reason to hate paradox mons. People who praise are asking for the games to get even worse than they already are
Magearna and friends at the museum

Landorus except it looks cool and not a tiger with a dreamworks face wearing a wig
