The fastest way is to subsidize it with another domain and focus on build build build houses to get more pops fast. That is, if you have another domain capable of such subsidizing.
The second best option is to find a good product to sell, put 3-4 pops on that and focus the rest on building. Right now, salt, wood, stone tiles and raw minerals are good options on Terra orientalis, since everyone is building and buying tons of building materials.

always make some good villages with denar surpluses before you try for a city, and then you can convert some of those denars to gold and dump gold on your city out while you're figuring out how to make money from it.
also stone quarrying and wood chopping (and agriculture) are village perks, cities manufacture stuff. you can't even auto clay or auto your vegetable garden any more with a city except to grow flowers with a gardener

My Black. The current market bot works really hard against quality. Back then if I wanted really high quality shit, I had to negotiate or build the whole product chain myself. Being quality producer was very rewarding overall, I really want that feeling back.
I don't agree with the wipe ideas, the current state with sinking continents is about as good as it can get with this type of a game. Well, of course there could be ways to improve the process(like, hide the fricking rare minerals), but it is still better than calling the game persistent and wiping everything every 1.5 years.

These people are speed running the game with their quick progressions. It's no wonder they're complaining about everything. QUICK REMINDER, it's just a FREE jeton game. Free means no complaints, not even constructive criticism or feedback. Admin is already generous enough to provide free jeton spin per day instead of ZERO spins. You will spin after only 79,200 seconds.
Don't get me started with the deniers too. If each of those gold mines give 400 deniers each mining cycle (generously-speaking), by the time you become a count from running 948 cycles you would have already accumulated 379200 deniers. That's enough for founding a papacy, almost TWICE.
One big complaint, that I see way too often, is the jeton system. Suppose it takes you 1 second to rush a building, or 12 hours because you haven't bought lol+. After rushing the construction, you spend 25-26 minutes creating a post (all lies btw) trying to expose the flaws of this game on the discord, which I will argue against you until the end of time kiddo. The cycle continues indefinitely. Based on my calculations: 1 second to rush a builing multiplied by an average of 25.5 minutes of blatant lies from your message, multiplied AGAIN by 948 gold mining cycles is 20,886,336,000 seconds. That's 348,105,600 minutes. Plus, that was already assuming you had access to lol+. This will hinder us casual players, so I'm glad everything is time-gated. Anyway, the roulette recharges 1 per 22 hours, that means by the time you run 948 gold mining cycles from a single mine you will obtain AT LEAST:
- 1 county
- 172,000 jetons (given that spins give you 1000 denier each)
- 379,200 deniers
That's enough resin to last you your entire bloodline.

There were some changes to the market. Instead of continental markets, every settlement has its own market, and every other settlement in a ~1000 arp range contributes to the supply-demand, based on the consumption and transactions they make. Also, direct road connections don't do anything other than changing this supply-demand effect based on some esoteric formula.
So, you are pretty fricked if you settle too far from others because your market will be really small. Otherwise, the usual rules still apply I think. It is easier to make money from a broader range of products, but somewhat harder if you specialize in 1-2 things.

Is there a way to see what a specific unit has produced over a given period of time? Like a unit specific task log .
I have a hunter and a woodcutter both automated, and I wanted to see if they were favoring a type of tree or game over the others and see if I can work out if it's because of distance, or the order in the automaton list, ect. (There's no way to make them prioritize a certain automated task over another afaik?)
The logs in the bottom may give you an idea.
There's a log at the bottom of a given resource tile showing who comes and goes, and the actions performed, is that what you're referring to? I haven't seen unit action logs anywhere else (aside from the Lord action log at the hamlet, for expansions.)
You can disable automatic sale and see the changes in your stockpiles. No easy way of doing that, admin dislikes minmax (and you will probably get tired of the game quickly if you try to minmax).

correct. i didn't notice the saplings before, i guess the plantation update let you plant them though i looked up the cost and it would be 130k+ per tree if you don't already have one to get the wood from.
