it's just one of those silly fish like stunfisk and whiscash. It's inoffensive.

Now that you mention it, it's kind of funny how the only time I ever used Lanturn was in Emerald and the only time I ever used Whiscash was in Platinum. I used both of them one generation after their release. I like both of them, but Lanturn was obviously more useful since it's bulky.
