Her existence here is because one of the companies makes theatrical bioroids with absurdly high power to make fiction as close to reality as possible. As a result they rival and surpass high end military models but conversely some of them are unable to discern fiction from reality and this kickstarts some of the Events in the story.
Basically, Koyori’s company in-universe before the apocalypse made a joint with that industry, resulting in bioroids modelled after her game and with specs that can reproduce their in-game powers in reality.
It was good to me. It's a very old arcade game and as far as scoring went for me in it, I very much so enjoyed it. The genre may be difficult for many to get into however.

Nowadays it’s as hard as opening 2 specific folders and overwriting their contents with MTL translations. Before we just flipped the switch in the files but after the latest update it defaults back to japanese

I've always been eyeing this game from afar but when the English patch finally came out I already had moved away from mobile gaming. I got a job again so I'm bored as frick all day. Is it still viable to start from scratch today? What server do I choose? Advantages and disadvantages are there to each one? I know the game is very f2p friendly, but how much grind do I gotta expect? Sorry for so much questioning.
KR server has is hype for new units, skins and usually getting new content first (JP got some skins and an original event earlier than KR this year) also you need a korean number or some cumbersome method to whale.
Both servers need patch to play in English, all normal units are obtainable through gameplay, but we dont know the range of reruns we will have for the first collaboration so they could be missed forever if you dont play during those periods. (JP is having it right now and KR is getting the rerun next month)
Finally JP just got the Offline farming feature and grind has been improved so i think both servers are almost on pair in regards of QoL. (Missing the private room key to frick your units)

Apparently in some live dev Q&A earlier they were asked about it and are currently trying to fix some UI issues related to the global release, so that's a bit more substantial than the usual hot air of "yeah, we'll see, it is of interest". When I look at the wiki on some skins there are voice and dialogue changes but looking at the shop in the game, it doesn't say those skins include voice changes. Is this because JP just couldn't get the VAs to do them for whatever reason? Is it a bug in the game that's not displaying the skins correctly? Is it the wiki that's wrong?
Those are in KR but not JP, and they don't always have new voice lines when the skins come out. Charlotte's nun skin is getting new voicelines in JP next update even though it's a few years old by now.

Depends on the character and what enemies you're fighting. Some might use it all the time and just use their other move for counterattacks and others might need to mark/provoke/debuff enemies for extra damage first.

There is an extensive guide about AP in the wiki iirc. But to sum it up, AP is the resources in which the game determined how fast a battler can act in one turn. To act a battler need to have at least 100 AP in that turn. Speed determines how much your AP regain after each turn

It's not like most games where the newest characters constantly powercreep everyone else and team building doesn't get super autistic until you start getting into lategame things like Sanctum or raid bosses. Even if you could import the uncensored stuff, I wouldn't support the game if it didn't have the uncensored option natively and there's no way we're getting it uncensored on mobile. New to the game, downloaded the DMM/Fanza version and it's great. I tried to toggle it to EN with some tutorial video from YouTube with regedit but apparently it isn't working anymore (or I'm doing it wrong). So the general question is how do I toggle the game to EN?

To be fair, you can preview the skin's animations in your character's records(yes you can tap them when you zoom in for interactions). The only thing buying it does is allow you to use it in lobby and missions. Unless you want to just have the animations on hand in your pc.

Only if you opened her level cap to 120 beforehand. What I usually do when planning to use a Commander's Log is increase the Like cap to 200 with the flowers, then use the Log on the unit to get them to Level 100 with 200 Like, and then just level break and grind or use other EXP items from there. Skip the Like increase if you're gonna Ring her, of course.
Levels 100-106 or so require a frickton of exp for some reason, but then the rest of the way is back to easy mode. Confusing design choice.

Now that I do, I recognize that the feeling comes from my memory of Planetarian and Yumemi's lines about the same subject. They're somewhat different ideas though since Yumemi's is more of a wish/prayer while Eternity's is a bit closer to belief, and one is about robots not being separated from humans, while the other is about generally the ones you love being united, in the afterlife. But still the tones felt similar. And Eternity did compare you to a guiding star. And stars are a theme in Planetarian too. Would be based if it was an actual reference.

On one hand you're going into a gacha game that's been out for 5 years, on the other you're playing a game that's 5 years behind the main server.
Both sound pretty fricking terrible to me to be tbh.
I feel like the only way to actually make this work would be to drastically alter the way the game works on global that would facilitate hyper-accelerating the progress of the game without making it more expensive to play.
