>LE dead
>POE dead/only played by chinese
>D4 DOA
how did grim dawn manage to remain king of the genre after all this time bros? I t hink LE was a solid attempt mechanically but everything else around it, the story, the level design, the gear design was so trash that it was kind of ruined from the start.

>LE dead
it has like 3x as many players as grim dawn right now, so if it's dead what is grim dawn?
OP's last bastion of cope, apparently.
LE will continue to bleed players forever as the devs are all incompetent redditors Every ARPG player knows that GD is an underappreciated gem lovingly crafted by veterans of the genre while LE is a soulless imitator. I do really like LE's skill system though, it's a shame it's trapped in such a bland game.
>Every ARPG player knows
Yet they're playing LE instead of GD.
it just came out, thats why. it still has way worse reviews from those same players though
>it just came out
It's been out for five years.
Thats just dev time and doesnt count
>Thats just dev time and doesnt count
No, people have been playing it for five years.
It didn't "just come out" as you claim, it isn't flavour of the month.
It's simply better than GD, thus more people play it.
Simple facts you seem to be struggling with.
Yes the game has had volunteer QA testers for 5 years like literally any game being made. That doesn't count as being out, anon
>Yes the game has had volunteer QA testers for 5 years like literally any game being made. That doesn't count as being out, anon
By that logic GD has had volunteer QA testers for almost a decade now and still isn't finished.
Not at all. Grim Dawn is a complete product. LE's completeness is questionable at best.
>Grim Dawn is a complete product.
Really? Then why are they still patching it?
If your dogshit arguments, and lets be honest, they're absolute steaming, don't even hold up when applied to GD, the game you are so vehemently defending, do you actually expect people to take them seriously?
None of the patches they have released have really dramatically changed the game, my dear moron. They've been minor balance changes, item tweaks, and simple mechanic adjustments at best. My characters that I made 5 years ago all function exactly the same as they did when I first made them. I can't say that about any other modern aRPG I've ever played.
>None of the patches they have released have really dramatically changed the game
During the first five years of the games release? Simply not true.
Perhaps instead of using lies as the basis of your argument, you should try just being honest?
I mean from the word go you tried to use popularity as a metric of quality, I mean that alone was fricking laughable and it's no wonder you can't actually form a coherent argument.
Name a major patch released in the past five years that radically changed the core fundamental mechanics of the game.
They are adding on to a completed product. Grim Dawn 1.0 is good, LE 1.0 is half-baked crap. It's that simple. LE also can not be improved through updates because it is so rotten to its core. The story sucks, all the characters suck, the writing is literally by redditors, all the armor sets are ugly as shit, the world is boring as shit, the music blows. I refuse to believe LE has any longevity. Why would anyone choose to play something so soulless for so long?
it's something called a fake gamer. maybe you've heard of it? they flock to flavor of the month garbage that their favorite streamers are paid handsomely to shill. the only thing keeping them going is live service promises that will never be delivered on because the dev team seriously lacks knowledge and talent.
tfw crafting recipe save data is saved to stash data, which is apparently a completely different save from your character so I lost all of them when I got a new PC and only saved my character files. so Im fricked for making medals now
WHEN YOU COME TO IT
AND YOU CAN'T GO THROUGH IT
AND YOU CAN'T KNOCK IT DOWN
What the frick is LE?
It's a Reddit thing
How Blizzard manage to make D4 so unfun? The genre is meant to be addicting but I was just glad to be done with it when I got to the end.
It's not made by people who play or care about video games. They dumbed down every possible system to try to appeal to as many people as possible but it just ends up appealing to nobody.
>cringe yawn
They did it by releasing a full-fledged product that you purchase and can play/modify however you see fit instead of brain rotting GaaS gigacancer. The only good aRPG left.
any bronze age inspired ARPGs? is Titan Quest the closest thing?
Loki: Heroes of Mythology (haha)
>mogs all those other games
