It's a quick gag, yeah, I will take to that. What I hate is when you get these nostalgia IP resurrections that want to do something new but can't help itself in doing countless references all over the fricking place. Chip 'n Dale was a buddy cop movie with little to actually do with the original cartoons or character origins, but its entire premise centers around human- I mean cartoon trafficking as bootlegs, so Samurai Jack, Naruto, Gumball, everything gets referenced plus the inevitable "open the vault full of references" scene that has Jimmy Neutron's hair and a Keyblade strewn about.
This shit is the real tiresome stuff.
