I can't get the hang of this game, I reached diamond on the pc version as an all rounder lane-wise, but I can only seem to play support on wild rift without getting shat on. i use a mixture of both,the click and drag when its against one person or laning phase, then the auto target if its 3 or more champs in the same vicinity so i dont use my abilities on the wrong person
also remember thats theres a minion and turret button which is useful as well

If you want a competitive edge try to stabilize and preferably minimize your response time to the game server, therefore playing via USB would be better than wireless and also try to play at 120 fps because it halves the response time compared with 60 and it's really noticeable.
I'm in the process of rooting my device to make it run at 120 fps by faking hardware info towards the WR app so that I could use the 120. You don't need the 120 hz screen, could play at 60 hz but the response time benefits are there.
Something like 16+ ms vs 8+ ms added end to end on top of the response time to server, ofc shit is smoothed out by mathematical predictions and so on but it's noticeable.
Tried everything, couldn't force 120 fps but the game works much better on a custom ROM with latest updates.

The games are ~20 minutes on average and some Twitch players build 2x attack items before getting damage... no ffs you should try heavy damage builds.
The build should only be 1 attack speed (Runaan's for almost everything, stormrazor if you need to poke and slow for your frontliner, BoTRK for HP homosexuals) and IE then Dominik's.
If you go runaan and stormrazor you automatically lose the game.
Twitch is not meant to be some subhuman sitting in the back line occasionally hitting 2 - 3 autos.

The game is just constant pvp where skill expression can make you stand out and fight better players consistently but even that is not enough, in order to have good mental health and enjoy it further you need to play META and master a role, you will sometimes get auto-filled since they want low queues so you have to learn 1 - 2 simple but impactful champion for each role you tend to get autofilled to, like annie mid, malph top, amumu jg, etc.

It's honestly pretty easy to carry up to grandmaster even with feeding teammates.
The problem that you are experiencing right now mostly likely is that it's still pretty early in the season and a lot of diamond players are former grandmasters and even some challengers. Things will get easier towards the middle of the season.
You cannot carry when 2 teammates are feeding because the 2 enemy players who have been fed will be stronger you despite the fact that you're the strongest on your team
Forced 50/50 isn't a myth, the better you play, the worse your teammates will be.
It's just the matchmaking trying to put you with people at your level. And match-making rating is extremely volatile. It can change drastically in 2 matches. So you might end up with people who aren't as experienced getting put in a match they don't belong in, and losing. Best solution is to play with a group.
It is stressful, and basically punish players for playing well.

you can only ever win 70/30 so long if you actually progress in the ladder, 50/50 is where people who understand the game same as you are, do you want to play endlessly with people who can't control wave, join you for drags, group up for objectives etc? I guess some people start new accounts to stomp and get some cool quadra/penta footage, but most prefer to play with as advanced people as they can, and it peaks at 50/50

Yes you can but a chip that gives you the absolute edge on wild rift, as in 120 fps stable so that you enjoy that consistent frametime is expensive beyond belief, you'd need a snapdragon 8+ gen1 or gen 2.
But you can competitive play at 60 fps but only if your device is optimized for that, meaning the firmware and graphic driver are edited by the vendor to give stable frametime and the touch screen + its software is ridiculously sensible to your touch.
You basically need a gaming phone, like blackshark, rog series.
Previous generations that can sell cheaper second hand all use Samshit fab, so I'd avoid them for now.
Also for iphone bros, you have to autistically search reviews, some models have satisfactory end-to-end latency but it's not guaranteed that it won't become worse as you upgrade your ios as drivers would change and support kind of drop.
Also for majority of people on random phones, even flagships that are not meant for gaming, you're wasting time on this game, especially on the 75-120ms range which seems to be where the average sits.
Think about it, the server doesn't even know what you want until 100ms+internet 30-50ms pass. Meanwhile the server updates the world every 30th ms and people with optimat setups get to both see and send inputs closer to it.
On a laggy setup it doesn't matter that you're good at the game, your brain has to add a delay to everything you do and predict based on lag.
The others only focus on the game, their brain just have to think in terms of the numbers they get and what they feel it's right.
Also PS5 gaming won't save this genre as the ps5 on optimized titles barely have 65ms end to end lmao.

It's not that people are always intentionally trying to sabotage your game, a lot of the time they're just new and you need to give them time to learn. For a lot of new players this is their first exposure to mobas in general, and their first experience with League. They play badly because they literally do not know what they're doing. We've all been there. It's ok. It's fine. We grow out of it. Just give them time.
A lot of people with shit devices and high ping are boosted into high elo constantly due to algorithm proffering that already to give you shorter queues and all the fricking protection mechanisms that you can also buy.

With 120 fps, gaming phone (for lowest latency) and ms lower than 40ms you will reach 95% of your potential.
Read some papers on the topic, old and new and the impact is massive.
Total sub 58 ms impacts in a lesser way so that was my baseline - 120fps+cpu+ screen frametime on gaming phone = ~23ms + 40ms, you're pretty good, you gain more from living closer to the servers, like pretty much all those GM YouTubers that make tutorials.

I've noticed that ever since I've fixed my phone's input lag my KDA and performance went up the roof but since my macro is the same I'm stuck about at my general knowledge level.
Reminds me when I used cheats for months on the PC and I always hit my wall because even if I dominated everyone and had the best score I lacked the macro knowledge required to manipulate the win condition consistently, I mean to bring it at hand for the team to capitalize, pave the way.

So I started Mobile Legends in season 2. Messed with Arena of Valor for a bit and whatever that other one was back then. Got into Wild Rift. And now back to MLBB. That shit is chinky as frick but it's by far the best mobile MOBA. Wild Rift is dogshit compared to it, and i really tried to enjoy it. MLBB is just too smooth.

Ok. Congrats I suppose. I tried both and honestly I think wr is smoother. I can kite really well under the enemy turret in wild rift and execute a perfect orb walk but I have to fight really hard to auto under turret and not die in mobile legends.
Also the ability to make your champ or hero stronger outside of a game is too p2w for me.

stop reading there, Wild Rift is the best, I've already tried several Mobas and Wild Rift takes all the medals. Arena of Valor is still fine, but since it moves too slow. And mbl its literally shit, I don't think I have to explain why. Both the graphics, the sound, the game mode, skins, abilities and everything else that has to do with Moba is top tier. It's honestly the one I enjoy the most. The only thing is the prices, they are a bit expensive. I have like a 13 Skin, some emotes, some recall effects and a few things to customize my profile and I already spent like $35, that's too much to spend on a virtual game. Not to mention, most of it you have to earn by completing quests. Not to mention the AI mode, it almost feels like you're playing with real players. Pretty entertaining to have a good time and earn some points. What I liked the most was the URF mode, I totally enjoyed it. I don't know why they removed it so quickly...

*You (with smite) get to level 2 at the second wave, while your enemy will reach level 2 at the first wave. That means enemy laner will win trades until you level up on second wave.
*You are 100% going to fall in gold, even if you cs perfectly, forcing you to take a near jg camp, but that's hardly going to happen because your enemy laner (if he is competent) will always have priority thanks to you falling behind in levels (better clear, guarantee winning in trades/all-in)
If you are adc, you are going to shit on your main purpose (have the most gold in your team). You, as ADC, rely on items = gold.
Less gold = less damage = dead weight
If you are a support, I think it'd be the most viable (you dont need gold, but falling behind in levels will hurt your ADC laning). Also there is a big catch
*Smite "levels up" (to evolve to chilling smite) by killing large monsters(5 in total), and you are a support.
If you are farming, that means you are not peeling/empowering teammates = moron support
*You are a fricking support. Your smite won't make a difference unless you are telephatically linked to your JGer to syncronize smites. Exhaust or bandage would make more of a difference in a TF, the kind of situations you exist for.
The other anon is a being a bit b***hy about it. You can always steal camps from the enemy jubgler as a later or sup with smite [this is very high risk though since the map is so small]. And if you're playing a champ with low damage aoe abilities [waveclear] then pushing and stealing shouldn't be a problem. Smite doesn't work very well if you plan to 1) stay in lane for long periods of time and 2) plan to play passively in lane. Taking smite in lane means you have to be very aggressive from the get-go since if you don't get kills or steal camps early you will fall behind in gold because smite carries a gold penalty.
One very fun cheese strategy is to steal the enemy raptors then come to mid lane as the midlaner with smite. You only need to kill the big raptor and you'll hit level 2. You'll actually be AHEAD of your lane opponent since the wave will still be there. You'll be level 2 and they'll be level 1.

I just thought that having smite as a laner would be good in mid/late game since you probably would be strong enough to steal the enemy farm. And maybe steal dragons if your character has high mobility. But I forgot about the penalties, so maybe all I'm saying may not work very well in practice.
