New players love Lux because she's one of the champions given to you for free and she has a snare. And you can throw out that snare and hit someone. Very easy to do. Same reason new players like Morgana because she can throw out a snare and it makes them feel safe.

Assassins are a bit harder to play on mobile if they kid is is not straight.
Since you have to tap all over the screen very fast, while your brain must also calculate and be ware of enemy positions, predict who will try to block you, track their cooldowns.
On PC most of the cognitive load in this is alleviated from muscle and keyboard being so quick, precise and intuitive.

Playing AP assassin feels impossible. Everyone is constantly grouped together so you can never get in and if you do then you need to execute a precision combo or else they get away.
This feels even worse with Evelynn who has to basically give away that she's going for the kill with her charm. The target just walks into his team to wait it out

The only burst assassin I do well with is Kha'Zix and that's exclusively becuaae his kit is designed on a way to actually let him engage(can go invisible to dodge on a fight; jump resets to kill to get out, etc)
Malphite is a great tank. Do not play him as a mage. I will frick you if you do.
Veigar stacks ap infinitely. Great for snowballing in a 20 minute game.

Play with irl friends if you must, but avoid soloq like the plague, I genuinely think it's rigged to make you mentally unwell. Playing as a 1/5 is miserable, having at least one buddy makes the game ten times easier and less frustrating
depends on jungler, for gankers you want to get lvl3 asap and then gank to get one of your lanes ahead (plan your camps on the basis of which lane is more likely to be gankable), if there is no opportunity grab crab and back to farming, for farming junglers it's farm farm farm until you're big enough or die of boredom, but yeah lvl5 is a must for those and then either gank or help out push lanes or just go dragons/heralds and teamfights
on hec farm farm farm, fullclear then look for gank (unless opportunity shows up and you're close), look for guides, there are mostly lol pc ones but they are usually good base, check what differences in champions there are between pc/wr for any tweaks

Not my fault this shit is so boring. All champions just arent fun anymore. Before this is I was hard carrying going 19/4 and shit but it's not enjoyable at all. Now I just auto give up if something meaningful goes wrong, not even worth my time just go next.
My favorite part is getting held hostage so I have to hold the movement button in base or glide along a wall so I don't get afk punished (spoiler alert: they lose)

Eh it's more about the fact that if you go for dragon you kind of are committing yourself to getting all 3 drakes. Because dragons don't stack bonuses anymore now that they've reintroduced soul. Once you go for 1 drake you have to go for 3 drakes whereas going for herald allows you to stay more flexible. Also you get 5 plates plus first tower gold which helps you snowball into second drake pretty easily.

How the frick do you make Kayle work? She is my favorite champion because I really love her theme/design/etc and like scaling champions but it just feels so rough. Levels 1-12 or so feels like I'm completely at the mercy of my team and even at 15 I don't feel strong enough to justify being useless 1-10
You become a champion at level 5 and increasingly broken with every nanosecond afterwards, provided the enemy isn't hyper snowballed. Just kite, position smart, and melt your enemy. Be an annoying c**t and turret cheese your enemy too for the "level 3 and Kayle is already ahead" morale debuff to the enemy
She doesn't fit with WR faster pacing.
You need to somehow get ahead of your opponent, but Kayle can't reliably farm until level 5.

Not really. It's 25% pre-mitigation damage. The break point is 300 armor. Above that you outheal crits. So 1v2 crit adcs and which them die from thornmail.

My problem is usually the opposite, my teammates going for Baron every single time there's an opening, even if going for Nexus is faster/easier/safer. Even happens when me/the jungler go out of our way to danger ping baron and attack ping inhibitors/Nexus, but there's always a dumbass who attempts to solo Baron anyway, and usually either dies/is forced to recall/gets raped by the enemy Pantheon and throws the game.
Just had a match the other day where we had elder, we were laying siege to enemy Nexus 4v3 or so, and our support was spazzing out in Baron pit while I was ending the game (15/6 Kayn danger pinging baron and attack pinging Nexus ten times a second). Was an easy W because I just oneshot the enemy Veigar/Samira under their Nexus, but if I was some less mobile/bursty/OP champ and they defended, I would've been super mad at that support
Also had a match where I lost early, ended up scaling into being a menace, but our mid Lucian threw the game by attempting to solo Baron after us barely winning a teamfight (3 of us died, enemy got aced) . Enemy Pantheon ulted Baron and stole it, they rolled down mid and won. I couldn't defend because I was a semi-fed Jhin versus five enemies with Baron buff. I'm confident we would've won if Lucian doesn't help them get Baron

OK so having played Sol for a bit he's definitely strong as the game goes on; a good scaler
But the issue is his fire breath delay on turning. When everyone is just playing around everywhere because everyone was given some sort of Dash then he can't really keep it up on people. He's good against immobile tanks and nages but ADCs and jungles wreak him

Anon she got gigabuffed and is broken now. I know she's played in high elo I'm in gm right now. I play her sometimes. Lux's pick rate was significantly lower, especially in higher elos, before her changes.
New players love Lux because she's one of the champions given to you for free and she has a snare. And you can throw out that snare and hit someone. Very easy to do. Same reason new players like Morgana because she can throw out a snare and it makes them feel safe.

Assassins are a bit harder to play on mobile if they kid is is not straight.
Since you have to tap all over the screen very fast, while your brain must also calculate and be ware of enemy positions, predict who will try to block you, track their cooldowns.
On PC most of the cognitive load in this is alleviated from muscle and keyboard being so quick, precise and intuitive.

depends on jungler, for gankers you want to get lvl3 asap and then gank to get one of your lanes ahead (plan your camps on the basis of which lane is more likely to be gankable), if there is no opportunity grab crab and back to farming, for farming junglers it's farm farm farm until you're big enough or die of boredom, but yeah lvl5 is a must for those and then either gank or help out push lanes or just go dragons/heralds and teamfights

on hec farm farm farm, fullclear then look for gank (unless opportunity shows up and you're close), look for guides, there are mostly lol pc ones but they are usually good base, check what differences in champions there are between pc/wr for any tweaks

Eh it's more about the fact that if you go for dragon you kind of are committing yourself to getting all 3 drakes. Because dragons don't stack bonuses anymore now that they've reintroduced soul. Once you go for 1 drake you have to go for 3 drakes whereas going for herald allows you to stay more flexible. Also you get 5 plates plus first tower gold which helps you snowball into second drake pretty easily.

My problem is usually the opposite, my teammates going for Baron every single time there's an opening, even if going for Nexus is faster/easier/safer. Even happens when me/the jungler go out of our way to danger ping baron and attack ping inhibitors/Nexus, but there's always a dumbass who attempts to solo Baron anyway, and usually either dies/is forced to recall/gets raped by the enemy Pantheon and throws the game.
Just had a match the other day where we had elder, we were laying siege to enemy Nexus 4v3 or so, and our support was spazzing out in Baron pit while I was ending the game (15/6 Kayn danger pinging baron and attack pinging Nexus ten times a second). Was an easy W because I just oneshot the enemy Veigar/Samira under their Nexus, but if I was some less mobile/bursty/OP champ and they defended, I would've been super mad at that support
Also had a match where I lost early, ended up scaling into being a menace, but our mid Lucian threw the game by attempting to solo Baron after us barely winning a teamfight (3 of us died, enemy got aced) . Enemy Pantheon ulted Baron and stole it, they rolled down mid and won. I couldn't defend because I was a semi-fed Jhin versus five enemies with Baron buff. I'm confident we would've won if Lucian doesn't help them get Baron
