One of the few things Sims actually does decently well is provide a wide variety of neighbourhoods that, while vaguely based on the US (and other western countries) are fantastical and separated enough from literal reality that you can still relate to the game even if you aren't from America.
If this game's only world space is "literally just Korea" I can see it really struggling to find an audience outside Korea.

My biggest issue with Sims games is that they've been constantly getting easier with each new game.
It makes it feel so empty to accomplish anything in the game, because it was laughably easy and there was no real penalty for failing.
In Sims 1 and 2 the struggle to survive in the world felt much more real. You actually had to really try to earn enough money to keep yourself afloat and gradually build up savings, you had to actually make a real effort to keep your sim alive because their needs dropped much faster, progressing in careers was harder.
It was so good.
Sims 4 sucks ass. Everything is handed to you on a silver platter, it's boring. Giving in to wish-fulfillment wanting prostitutes ruined the game.
