For every two food items of a specific type the above races get, they gain one random attribute point. Rat cheese, lizard eggs and insect fruit. The minotaur gains strength from skulls.

You should play Lands of Lore, it's a better entry point for real time dungeon crawlers.
Play grimrock 1 first, this game is much more complicated.

The most improtant thing in this game is to make a ratling alchemist and give him that one 10/10 smug portrait.
don't forget to add your own custom portrait. It increases my enjoyment a lot as I actually care about my guys
Skip guns. They are neat in theory but they don't scale with stats and unlike with every other ranged option, gun ammo is not recoverable (for obvious reasons). This means there are only so many bullets in the game, then after that guns are useless. You may not hit that point but it's something to consider. The fact they jam and don't scale is the bigger concern really.

no, i just get angry when i have to think. sometimes im playing a game and there's a forked path in a dungeon and I think "gosh this is confusing, i wish i was killing generic bandits in a tiny cave right now". todd is the only guy who gets me.
it's sad how the modding scene for bethesda games collapsed and everything became about visuals.
there never was a modding scene, untalented people make bethesda mods because it gets them attention and clout. the engine is not good enough to produce good material, there has never been a good mod for a bethesda game. just mod in Jojo powers and change all the models to Shrek characters and be done with it.

And they were usually absolutely horrible.
Just play custom modules for Neverwinter Nights or Shadowrun Dragonfall/HK and you realize what is actually possible besides visuals.
Modding in Bethesda games has always been 95% ironing out the absolutely shit animations and qol for shit decisions like making you click trough literally +1000 unorganized scroll down menues to skill enchanting or shit like that.
Or fixing the beyond horrible gunplay that Shadows of the Empire did better.
The remaining 5% are coomer mods for bdsm diaper trannies.
