wrong
this title will forever be held by Dragon Age: Origins, the game composed start-to-finish of sections you never want to play again while still compelling you to say the game is good
this is correct. at the end of an ng+ playthrough on my way to platinum and there was never any area i was legitimately looking forward to replaying, i only ever went anywhere because it was the next place to go in the single linear path through the game.
Shrine of Amana is actually engaging & entertaining to get through, plus it looks pretty with cool music. Farron Keep is literally and figuratively a slog.
You know, I'm starting to feel like DS2 might actually be the better game. 3 is no doubt more polished, but fricking christ the game is just back to back cancer swamps
if you already know this, then why complain about it online. Its a complete nothing burger section where you can avoid most enemies. Now Irithyll stair cases thats some hot garbage part of the game.
on your first playthrough you have to roll around the entire place like a tard until you find the 3 furnace things
Blighttown is 1/10th the size since you just run to the extremely obvious spider mound and the rest is optional bloat
Lost Izalith is unfinished trash but you still walk in a straight line down the paved path to the bed of chaos, so its shittiness isn't as bad
Farron Keep is essentially the >oh I guess players like empty annoying swamps so we'll make them bigger, dumber, emptier, and you HAVE to explore them now!
Miyazaki is a hack
Don't you DARE tell me what I hated. Dark Souls 2 is the best in series precisely because it had a great balance of man vs man/beast and man vs nature.
Dark Souls 2 is an RPG-ass RPG where you go into DUNGEONS that are DANGEROUS to traverse.
They lead you by the nose for the first two AND give you a bonfire checkpoint and the third you can intuit pretty easily. It's not good but you're exaggerating how confusing it is because it isn't at all.
Unironically I think I hate Yahar'gul more than any other area in the Souls franchise. The mobs, the lasers, the constant reviving enemies, etc just make it so fricking annoying to play through.
Most areas in these games I can clear out and take a walk through to take in the scenery without the groaning enemies.
Yhar'gul is so massive and populous I never bothered.
The whole game is artificial. Game difficulty is innately artificial. Next time you're tempted to say this, instead remember that you're a huge gay who can't handle challenge.
Why is everything in this fricking game either grey or orange?
Dark Souls 3 is just trying too hard, in every way. The nostalgiabaiting, the bosses that are all Artorias clones, every single enemy being some REEE'ing flailing moron, almost every chest is a mimic. Elden Ring or Sekiro or Bloodborne are more honest
horrible opinion. the only bad bosses are amygdala, living failures, and micolash (if he spams a call beyond)
well, there are a bunch of shitty bosses in the chalice dungeons, but since that was just content padding made from material cut from the main game, idgaf
I don't count chalice stuff either >micolash >hemwick witches >living failures >the one reborn >celestial emissary >shadows of Yharnam >amygdala >rom >paarl
all bad, barely any moves and die in seconds

Because for you the metric of quality is being an Artorias clone

Amelia is not an Astorias clone and it's a pretty good boss, same with bloos starved beast and Mergo's wet nurse
Dark Souls 3 is 'that area': the game.

>platinum
still seething about microsoft conceding defeat?
I am a pc player, I don't pick sides, I don't participate in your silly consolewars, we are higher up in the foodchain, we are legion.
That’s not Shrine of Amana
That's not the Bathhouse of Balthazaur!.
Shrine of Amana is actually engaging & entertaining to get through, plus it looks pretty with cool music. Farron Keep is literally and figuratively a slog.

>Hating on one of the most kinotastic areas in the series
Get the dagger from the shrine maiden and quickstep through the sections that let you fatroll, done in 5 minutes ez.
thanks I am sure nobody knew this by now
if you already know this, then why complain about it online. Its a complete nothing burger section where you can avoid most enemies. Now Irithyll stair cases thats some hot garbage part of the game.
because it's still a shit area of the game
Agreed I fricking hate this area it's just so boring
You can just run through it
You can just run through like 80% of the first half of DS3 so I don't know why people complain about it
on your first playthrough you have to roll around the entire place like a tard until you find the 3 furnace things
Blighttown is 1/10th the size since you just run to the extremely obvious spider mound and the rest is optional bloat

It's just weird, it's like they thought "let's make this area bad on purpose!"
>he doesn't understand that man vs nature is kino and a key part of a good RPG
Games need more punishing environments. Farron is fricking kino.
DS2 had in the third DLC and you homosexuals hated it.
Don't you DARE tell me what I hated. Dark Souls 2 is the best in series precisely because it had a great balance of man vs man/beast and man vs nature.

at least it's not DS2
Nah, it wasn't THAT bad. Lost Izalith also had the Bed of Chaos which is by far the worst boss encounter in the entire Souls "series."
Agreed.
Farron Keep is kino though, got some of the best invasions there and in Cathedral of the Deep
still better than anything in DS2
Unironically I think I hate Yahar'gul more than any other area in the Souls franchise. The mobs, the lasers, the constant reviving enemies, etc just make it so fricking annoying to play through.
Yahar'gul is super fun to invade. Especially near the three hunters gank.
Most areas in these games I can clear out and take a walk through to take in the scenery without the groaning enemies.
Yhar'gul is so massive and populous I never bothered.
I like it, the only bad thing is that most enemies don't drop heals. I don't think BB has any real BAD area.
ds3 sucks
The place is packed with teasures and spells and shit to find.
Just keep on rollin rollin rollin
Good area
>Farron Keep
Oh, finally a cool castle interior level?
>A flat plane of poison diaper swamp.
Why is everything in this fricking game either grey or orange?
Because the world is LITERALLY burnt out so it's nothing but ashes and embers.
>it’s a movement impairing swamp episode
Arrificial difficulty

skill issue
BB bosses are hilariously bad except for very few exceptions, most of them barely qualify as bosses
horrible opinion. the only bad bosses are amygdala, living failures, and micolash (if he spams a call beyond)

miyahacki strikes again
I remember all the misplaced praise for this shit on release
DS3 is overall inferior to DS1
skill issue
What the frick are you talking about? Elden Ring is good and only makes DS3 look much shittier in retrospect
it's bait anon please respect yourself
project harder, tendie
>worse than dragon asses patrolling a lava lake
lolno
