shouldn't be a choice. you either buy it or you steal it, don't sugarcoat it sweaty.

The soundtrack is so good, I wouldve paid 10 bucks for that alone. Getting the whole game at that price feels like a real value to me.

Is multiverse mod an easy download and play yet? Been waiting for that.

I just downloaded it but I'm still so bad at the game that I'm scared to try it.

If by "more" I could want better graphics and balanced gameplay, then yes, I definitely NEED more.

Yeah imma disagree with that opinion of yours, partner.

How many hours until you felt bored?

        >How many hours until you felt bored?
Steam says I have 30 hours. Which is more than in to the breach lasted for me, and respectable for a cheap game for sure. But definitely not a game I'd bother revisiting.

    FTL is a solved game.
The final boss is so badly designed it forces you to get a few specific upgrades or it fricks you raw. It limits the kind run you can build a lot and it gets boring.

      >It limits the kind run you can build a lot and it gets boring.
Maybe that could be true from a certain point of view, but I dont think it's "solved" beyond the point of having fun. I've only won one time, and I was definitely not trying to make a certain build. I've been having fun trying all sorts of stuff for around 90 hours and haven't ever felt like I ran into a wall or was forced to play a certain way. But like I said I haven't had a lot of success against the final boss.

Final bosses in rpg games like this are like this. Reminds me of the heart/time eater in slay the spire, which straight up destroys certain decks and forces you not build them or get extremely lucky. Final boss doesnt force you to build certain things just somethning that disables hacking quickly. I remember playing a boarding build against it that worked but only failed because i got bored in the middle of it being disabled in its second phase and having my crew slowly damage its systems and wasnt looking while forgetting to enable oxygen on my ship killing every single crew member.

Idk man it's just really hard. I always end up making a fatal mistake and then everyone dies.

          >pick wrong dialogue option
          >crew member stolen
          nice "game"

I play while doing other stuff so I'm not always paying full attention but this has only happened to me a couple times. It is annoying when it happens but I just try to roll with it cause that's space life.

      >it forces you to get a few specific upgrades
Well, no shit. It still leaves enough room for you to make some adjustments on your build so it's not really a problem.

    Waiting/targetting weapons system sim.

I usually just do something on the side after the enemy is disabled from my first shots. Its fun until you beat the rebel flagship a few times.

Problem is that the ai is mentally moronic by design. I hear some people complain abput the rng, rng is fine. What isnt fine is the braindead ai being able to completely disable and destroy your ship but chooses random hallway #6 to shoot at again. The game is designed in a way that forces you to play a waiting/chance game of the ai not shitting itself and smearing the shit all over its electronic systems before slamming every button at once and causing the guns to accidentally fire and actually hit your weapons system and losing you the game. Its a good game otherwise but personally not very replayable.

    >3 difficulties (all of which are difficult)
all I remember that everything but easy is rng bullshit. I think I only finished two normal runs.
Last time I tried normal, I run out of fuel twice. I even destroyed an elite ship but you only get one fuel for it

      >running out of fuel
Running out of fuel and getting caught by the rebel fleet are noob traps. Literally just buy fuel (which you rarely have to do) when you are under 10 fuel. Its 3 scrap why are you whining about rng? Do you just want to win every time by doing the same thing?

        Anonymous

that's bullshit and you know it. You can just randomly gain no fuel for 10 stops and you are dead because sending sos is rarely does anything to save you.

A noob trap would be to shortcut to the goal and lacking upgrades because you either can't breach enemy shields or get roasted by triple rockets and invasions
