delaying a toddgame can only ever be good. its gonna come out bugged to fuck anyways, so might as well in best possible form that BGS can ship. also if it means microsoft is actually breathing down their neck to deliver something better than usual, the delay then signals a good thing.
its original release date was november 2022. it was delayed back then. it hasn't been delayed a second time since then. the official release date now is september 2023. i'm not sure why people are just recently saying it was "delayed" again.

After we didn't get a trailer at the Superbowl I knew it wasn't coming out the first half of this year so I wasn't surprised when it was confirmed the game isn't coming out until September, on the upside at least its early September
