Xbox let's me play gamepass (as desired, not auto-renew), elden ring, Capcom titles, multiplayer with the lads.
Switch let's me play mario party with the family, zelda, smash, mario kart, etc.
Gaming has become so expensive and also far lower quality, id rather be fishing or watching movies or do most other things than play modern slop. This lets me play only the greatest experiences for the smallest amounts of money.
Name a better combo that doest involve paying extra hundreds (or thousands) of dollars. You can't.
