Let World of Warcraft be the prime example for all future live service games in the industry. With its collapse in China and now western regions, the game is in shambles. Future game designers must take notes of WoW's failures to ensure that their game doesn't collapse without Activision/Microsofts budget to sustain them.
>shit on WoW thread
I'm in.
>Did we just?
what did they do
There's a quest before this where they sodomize each other in front of Khadgar while quoting the Quran.
I wish. WoW doesn't even have the guts to be cheesy and cartoonish anymore.
>fat morons still mad at blizzard in 2023 thread
I'm in.
>fat shaming
>mental health shaming
So much for the tolerant left.
nothing of value will be lost if blizzard dies, nothing of significant value will be lost
>WoW actually killed people irl
Holy shit why didn't the media talk about this crap more?
>Smoking next to an oxygen tank
There's being unhealthy, and then there's just being death-prone.

Remember when Blizzard invested millions in eSports and even went as far as patch their games worse to cater to eSports gays only to shut it down and lose money due to COVID and lack of interest because they killed their games?
no I don't remember that at all
>Balance their games solely around what atrociously overpaid "athletes" think is fair
>The result is Triple Barrier, the single most boring meta to play or watch
Kinda backfired on them.
the frick? have a nice day for even knowing this and knowing what this is
>killed because of covid
stop spreading this meme, their esports died because they hyper focused on franchising over actually building a community or a good game. they also just never payed out and reneged on promises they made to investors.
at least in the case of the owl, i don't know anything about hots
WoW is currently the best it's ever been.
Yes, let this 15-year-old game in a dying genre that's outlived the majority of its competitors be a negative example for the industry
>in a dying genre
The genre is already dead. WoW and XIV are the only two games still shambling along and they're both tepid dogshit.
>dying genre
WoW and WoWclones are dying, MMOs are doing just fine
all MMOs currently are wowclones though. And the ones that aren't, aren't doing well.
False
Don't worry fren! They pandered to minorities so much, those minorities will surely save blizzard in return.
