Let me guess, you haven't played any RE games outside of this one, and you haven't played any games at all past 2005.
It set a wrong standard that ruined some installments
This. RE was never meant to be first person.
The game has been ported constantly. It aged fine.
Yeah because people had nostalgia for it, but then they played it and realized it didn't hold up, just like Sonic Adventure, just like Banjo Kazooie, just like Ocarina of Time, just like HL1 (not even Black Mesa fixes that god-awful vent crawling simulator).
>Let me guess
I played RE1 before and loved it, and I played games past 2022 moron, stop falling for the causality meme and think critically for once in your unidimensional life

You sound legitimately moronic typing this out when you're talking about RE4 and comparing it to shit like Sonic or Banjo that only morons enjoy. Ocarina remakes are good as well stop being a moronic baiting homosexual.
You are a contrarian and a classicgay. Got it. No one takes you seriously and the existence of classicgays makes the Resident Evil fanbase worse by default.
RE4 is one of my very favourite games ever, but I've had some friends make similar comments. Is it maybe the movement that feels too old fashioned? The really goofy tone, too much menuing? Genuinely curious about why people feel like RE4 hasn't aged gracefully, it's just as fun now as when I first played it in the mid 2000s
Because brainless don't understand that aiming takes 1 stick and that you should be able to move and shoot but most RE games that have the ability to move and shoot suffered because of it. Only morons don't understand RE4
Why?
skill issue
I'm playing it right now for the first time and it's been the most fun I had with a videogame since a long while now.
same
just some parts are rusty and don't feel great

I hope you're trolling because frick off

RE4 such a rash and bad depature from what made Resident Evil Resident Evil that it actually makes those games look good in comparison
You are a contrarian and a classicgay. Got it. No one takes you seriously and the existence of classicgays makes the Resident Evil fanbase worse by default.
>comparing garbage like Banjo and Sonic to RE4
You're an idiot
It set a wrong standard that ruined some installments
It's not its fault it was followed by the rock puncher
>rock puncher
I still don't get this meme, what is so bad about that scene?
It's goofy, but it's more that it's representative of the rest of the game.
>it's representative of the rest of the game.
The rest of the game is a really stupid and contrive series of events with an overly dramatic tone?
Bandwagoner who can't think for himself
Rock puncher was good it just filtered middling IQ midwits who can't into action
maybe you should age first, zoomer
It was never good
I play through the first part of the village every once in a while and then quit.

It's still a contender for THE best game of all time. Nothing made since has done it better.
That cover alone has more soul than the entirety of RE3 DEmake. Facts and you're a homosexual if you disagree.
It aged like wine fine, have played it over a 1,000 times, finna make it 1001.
Only part I hate is the island segment with the mini guns
dilate
i liked it when i first played it without having played any other RE game but then i played it right after playing remake and i didnt enjoy it much
Nice larp. You almost had me though.
