Remind me why people are driven to buy this slop? There has to be some sort of conspiracy here.

yes, that's what has op confused. maybe if you learned some basic literacy skills in primary school instead of (presumably) eating your own shit, you'd understand the question that op is asking.
because pokemon is an all-encompassing brand rather than simply a game series. the anime, the cards, the plushes, etc etc etc. it's as much a game series at this point as the disney brand is cartoons.
Gonna cry?
Tears of boredom, maybe.

>Gen 9
>moronic story, characters
Zero tension, zero stakes. The champion is the worst in the series. Worldbuilding here is the worst in the franchise, and that's with GF being shit at worldbuilding in the first place.
>Zero tension, zero stakes.
so you literally stopped playing after beating the champion. got it, opinion discarded.
>so you stopped playing after beating the game
wow, I can't believe that anon didn't see GF's genius when they decided to shove the interesting part of the story into a half-hour segment after you become champion after playing the game for 20 hours. Wild.
>Zero tension, zero stakes
Area Zero
Gen 7 had amazing Pokemon designs, homosexual
>Sun god isn't fire type
>Palm tree is dragon type
>An apple is dragon type
>Old Pokemon but different color!
>2/3 ugly starters
It's definitely better than 8 or 9, but was the beginning of shit design philosophy.
>types
And back off A-Exeggutor he's a bro
Applin is Gen 8
Confused Applin with Comfey.
>Pokemon necklace fairy
>Battle Frontier project has started
The singlemost concrete timeline indicator in the whole series, that is worth so much more than a frontier I wouldn't play over Emeralds
>Champion is an autistic
Congrats on becoming champ
>Game runs like it's on the N64
That's a good thing zoomzoom
>Literally cardboard cutout cities.
Now that's an insult to cardboard video games.
Megas are infinitely more soulful than the other regional gimmicks
>muh powerboost button
It's utterly soulless and there to pander to the Goku morons who need that dopamine boost from a Super Saiyan transformation. Megas were moronic from the beginning and now even more moronic that they didn't even continue them and started this battle gimmick trend.
>Only 46 pokemon matter, everyone else is just npc fodder not worthy of being an ace-mon
>most pokemon who got them were already good or had some niche
>CHARIZARD gets two
Soulless garbage.
based
cringe. next you’ll be saying dynashit was good.
You forgot:
Gen 5
>Cringe battle gimmicks
>Bland Region
>Cringe bootleg gen 1 copycat designs
>What the frick is postgame?
>battle gimmick
Triple Battles were hardly ever used. Don't really care.
>bland region
Compared the Gen 6 and above, it's great.
>bootleg gen 1 designs
Better than pandering with Kanto mons themselves. Gen 1 starters in Kalos, Gen 1 regional forms in Alola, more regional forms and the champion has CHARIZARD as his ace in Galar.
>What is postgame?
Besides HGSS or Platinum, BW2 have the best postgame in the series.

clearly a brainrot zoomer. Give an actual argument you broccoli headed monkey. Megas were the best of the bunch as it gave some life into some shitmons (absol, mawile, kanga, houndoom, beedrilletc) although it gave to some mons that really didn't need the buff like mence and chomp. Then they dropped the concept as they knew they would have to continually add to that roster and eventually it would be too encompassing, so they switched it around with other gimmicks but now each gen they have to one up them, selves.
Also gen 9 had garbage designs all around, I'm not sure who greenlit the starters or spidops, but clearly it wasn't designed by sugi.
>Megas were the best of the bunch as it gave some life into some shitmons
Le powerboost at the touch of a button. Megas were mega moronic. They could have fixed old Pokemon by giving them another permanent evolution or better stats. Not this cringe knockoff saiyan garbage that was clearly just another medium to pander shillmon like Mewtwo, Charizard, and Lucario. The second they decided to give megas to legendaries, your argument about fixing Pokemon is destroyed.
>They could have fixed old Pokemon by giving them another permanent evolution or better stats.
Yes because Beedrill, Pidgeot, and Ampharos can all get another evolution or somehow get a huge powerboost out of nothing. Mind you they had already buffed them by XY by +10 but they were still shit without megas
Yes, why doesn't Gamefreak introduce a 4th evolution instead of a temporary powerboost? The latter is pointless and cringe.
Captcha: KYS XH
>Giving Eviolite to third stages
>Giving eviolite to steelix
Solution: Remove it from the game or nerf it. Who would have thought?
It's fine as it is but stage IV mons is an awful idea. Megas (barring mence and chomp) were fine and temporary power boost (one per team) is a far better mechanic than breaking the game by adding more evolutions or just outright removing them altogether.
Pokemon peaked during the GBA and DS era.
Post-games peaked in Gen 4 and 5. Funny because it has been improved pretty much every gen up until Gen 6. So what happened?
It got even better
>Kalostrannies are the only fanbase that tries to downplay the Frontier
>they'll proceed to claim that it's the "DStards" with their inconsistent standards that attack Emerald's content
It's all so tiresome.
>unovahomosexual seething
Classic.
pokemon died almost 10 years ago
the fairy type the culprit of all the death of the Pokemon franchise
