>Let's ruin our single player experience with awful grindy multiplayer-like bullshit and real-time timers for in game tasks.
God, I hate when this shit is forced into games. It's also why I hated Dragon Age Inquisition.
>Let's ruin our single player experience with awful grindy multiplayer-like bullshit and real-time timers for in game tasks.
God, I hate when this shit is forced into games. It's also why I hated Dragon Age Inquisition.
There is no reason to grind in this game if singleplayer is what you are after. The only purpose these super expensive high tier guns have is giving you a slight edge in multiplayer.
Timers do suck however
>single player only game?
>let's make it always online, because of elusive targets, which less than 1% of players actively do, and leaderboards, which even less players care about
>let's repeat for 3 games, while everyone blames the publishers (self published the last game)
thats not even the worse part
how in the frick you even supposed to buy this piece of shit on steam?
it has like 4 or 5 options each one ddont come with some stuff
there is no full pack, the main one is the FIRST game and not the third while the game is literaly named hitman 3
Right now, if you buy Hitman 3/World of Assassination, you get Hitman 1, 2 and 3 in one package.
The only canon stuff you don't get is 2's story DLC levels, which contain literal ending for Hitman 2.
So yeah, they made it easier, but still not perfect.
>HITMAN World of Assassination Part One
Never mind, they made it more convoluted for no reason again, holy frick
>Invade an enemy base
>Hack the game so I instantly win
>Get maxed out resources instantly
>Don't need resources because I modded research to be instant and cost almost nothing
PC master race
there are online research items, which actually have to be researched on the server side
>Invade enemy base
You know even when this game was brand new and active I think I only ever had one instance where I was able to go to my bases defense and fight the other player. It's ether they'd stealth past because they knew what they were doing or more like the other 80% of the time got killed by the defenses. More specifically the manually placed claymores that would put guards straight into alert phase
Do we blame Kojima or Konami for this?
PT and Death Stranding also had half-baked bad online features.
What online features did PT have?
>Get free Death Stranding from Epic
>Directors cut released after
>Upgrade is $10+, steam directors is $13+
>People online say DC is great and necessary
>Can't pirate because online
I just won't play it then.
How did it ruin anything? The timers were for fob which also provides the secondary goal of farming mooks for their stats in the open world
I don't play single-player games for grindy multi-player bullshit.
You don't have to it just enhances it
You don't get it
it was dumb but at least you did NOT need any of the giga high tier shit in singleplayer
Hack your local resources.
When it comes to the online timer for gear development, you're fricked. Otherwise just give up and hack your weapons, the whole FOB community is full of hackers anyway. With full S++ bases with snake's special stat.
I've been at it unlocking all the online weapons for almost half a year at this point, just logging in every so often and developing the next thing.
And then you have the autists who have spent their entire life just playing FOBs all day every day. Pic related.

hours
I salute you
The pic was for the youtube channel.
He plays quiet on fobs so he's a homosexual.
i just cant be bothered to do the animal mission because they did not in fact model all the small animals like they did in MGS3
so its all RNG
>whole FOB community is full of hackers
>cheats
>plays a console game on PC
PC gays are so moronic
The best thing to come out of this game. A shame she wasn't introduced in a better MGS game.
I don’t remember it being Grindy and the multiplayer around invading other bases was fun. Stop whining
It's not now.
Endgame was grinding and pushes players to buy MB tokens to expand their base so they can buy or speed up the development of gear
ok but the "endgame" has nothing to do with singleplayer as OP was whining. You don't need to grind shit for neither main nor side missions. And there is nothing wrong with giving tryhards who are really into multiplayer something to grind for.
>You don't need to grind shit for neither main nor side missions
You absolutely do if you want things like better buddy equipment.
Nah I never grinded and still got all the stuff I wanted for buddies.
This game is really generous when it comes to money, I'd unlock multiple pieces of equipment after literally every mission. Still, with how much gear it has there needs to be some kind of gating.
>Still, with how much gear it has there needs to be some kind of gating.
You can absolutely have that without making everything cost an insane amount of resources and making the player wait ridiculous amount of real world time. It's not like these things weren't figured out before MGS V. Kojima just wanted to cram in bullshit online mechanics.
The worst part is the game taking most of your resources if you're unable to connect to the server.
i haven't played it
is the real time timers important?
I've tried playing this about 3 times, but I get filtered by the tutorial. Oncec the ghost things appear I just get bored and drop it.
I guess this game is just not for me. Which is sad, because I loved MGS 3.
I'm playing casually. I think games lately try to capitalize too much on ADHD idiots who need to 100% and meta-strat everything, so i am playing MGSV and just fricking around.
Somebody told me about going lethal instead of trying to be the perfect stealth god. It's a lot more fun. Once i get detected i bumrush my objective, shoot my way out, find another way in to explore more. It's very fun for now.
