CG cutscenes work fine buddy. Common issues are out-of-date version of PCSX2 and/or frame limiter needing to be turned off.
What's the point not having an N64 full ROM set? Does it really take up that much space? It's not like there's hundreds of games to sift through

Some of it yeah. I’ll go through and try out some bullshit in between switching games in my everdrive. Like I said, it’s not like there’s hundreds of games to pour through that you haven’t heard of. I just don’t thinks it’s necessary for the N64 library to not have a full set, like sega cd and 32x. Just download the whole set, it’s not like it’s taking up gigs of space.

I think it is but I filtered tags out.
Rev 2 is censored and patches out several interesting glitches.
Table it is on is old as frick, but it is sturdy and I trust it.

Pretty much. It got overrun with obsessive schizos. It's the eventual fate of all generals.

All game generals are fated to fall to namegayging and dramawhoring. It's inevitable because newbies do not know the rules and mods and jannies don't enforce them. At the very least the existence of discord accelerates the process.
Not to mention when a schizo dedicated to obsessively shitting up the general with whatever schizo grievance or obsession they have inevitably decides to take up residence in that general, where else are you going to go to discuss? It's not like, say, /vr/ as a whole, where you can just create another thread and it's harder (though not impossible) for the schizo to be everywhere at once. Once they infest a general, it's ogre.
Are there any good ESDE themes not on the official docs or even in the works? I do not like any of the "official" ones in the docs.

With generals 9/10 this is due to some offsite dramagayging or clique shit. More often than not its because discord servers or niche forums use Ganker as their personal stomping grounds and after they ban some autist his only recourse is to shit up said stomping grounds.
Funnily enough many of the non-vidya boards don't have this problem with generals because they don't embrace this moronic culture of joining little offsite groups and selfdoxxing.

Thank God! The best users seemed to have left a long time ago, and I can't even describe what we have now. People are so opinionated about emulation, and spout nonsense without even a quick and easy testing, that they not contributing is a blessing. Spares newcomers from getting dumber.

I've got Syncthing setup on all of them for save parity. The only bugbear i've got is Android frontends are absolutely godawful. I've tried them all and they all are buggy pieces of shit reminiscent of 2000s middleware.
Also, even when mods and jannies do enforce a general, the schizo takes it as a challenge (or worse, persecution) and they just repost and ban evade, and let's face it, no mod or janny is ever going to be as obsessively persistent as a schizo. They eventually give up, but the schizo never will. And emugen had at least three or four such homosexuals.
Not mine but I really like this setup someone posted on Discord. It's looks simple and accessible.
