I like Pokemon and don't spitefully play other monster games to shit on them (Digimon's Tamagotchi aspect and SMT/Persona as a whole are great games) and YW3 was genuinely fun. First two were kind of whatever though
Third game's got a dungeon crawler mode that's got more agency and the battles there are built around the placement of your party members. The first two games were a lot simpler in combat, yeah, which was why I didn't like them as much.
At least it didn't have a release date before. I was hoping for 2024 but I braced myself for beyond that once it became clear both Fantasy Life i and Decapolice wouldn't make 2023.
They've been struggling to release anything for the past six years after being one of the most prolific Japanese companies in the sixth and seventh gens. It finally looked like they got their shit together when they announced some promising new games at a Direct last year but no, all delayed to oblivion. I've been a fan of them for a long time and it's tiring.
-if you like their games, they have plenty good ones
-If you don't, why care about them at all
not the only company like that.
I assume all the hate comes from Sonygays and Pokegays.
People were mostly hating how Level-5 had a massive focus on android/ios games the past few years after cheap handhelds pretty much died. They only recently recovered, they're making actual games that isn't constrained by the hardware somewhat. I am 50% sure that they even delayed Decapolice is because they want it to be a launch title for the Switch 2 or whatever name it's gonna be, might even cancel the original switch version if their claims are true that it's one of their biggest games yet.
>reveal gameplay for the new Inazuma Eleven in 2016, with a release date for 2017 >we're now getting the game in 2024 if we're lucky (don't count on it)
Ares and Orion did irrepairable damage to the franchise. I miss when IE was still good.
>DecaPolice delayed to beyond 2024
member when people were wondering which of Rain Code and DecaPolice would be the better anime cyberpunk mystery game of this year

One, DecaPolice just received an indefinite delay at the 11th hour of its initial launch period.
And two, this is Level-5 we're talking about. If anyone can pull it off, it'll be them.
give me fantasy life already
all i want too
What was their last good game?
Halo 2.
Professor Layton and the not very interesting Village.
The very first Dark Cloud
Snack World.
Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy
Dark Cloud
Release dates for both Fantasy Life i and Decapolice are almost certain. I hope they didn't get delayed too far into 2024.
DRAGON QUEST 12, BABY. LET'S FRICKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Level-5
Dark Cloud 3 fricking WHEN?
Now live
If only real soccer players strategized like this instead GIB PENALTY PLS grass diving

>so sick of this series that hasn't had a proper game since 2013
>slop
such shit taste
LAYTON IS BACK BABY
Layton gameplay, nice
>Layton in 2025
It's over...
I wonder what they were thinking with pretending those were 2023 games
>decapolice delay
>laton 2025
frick
Inazuma bros we are so fricking back
pic is on point
im gonna fricking cry layton, fantasy life and decapolice are my most anticipated games
Nothing good
but enough about your life
mad because anons right
nothing good coming out of level 5 again
I'M BUYING EVERY SINGLE GAME
>no new YW
Based.
At least they're wise enough to realize that contesting with Pokemon would be folly.
they are going to launch the Switch one worldwide first, probably an upgraded version
>still no Dark Cloud 3
they did us dirty, and on our 20th anniversary
> oops! all delays
t-thanks
>no Ushiro
I still want to know what was the point of bringing the game back to Switch and then share no news about it.
>inazumaslop
>professor latyon in fricking TWENTY TWENTY FIVE
>no yokai watch
Is it over, bros?
latyon in fricking TWENTY TWENTY FIVE
>Is it over, bros?
We are so back
>no yokai watch
Yokai watch is trash and is only propped up by people whos whole personality is "pokemon sucks"
I like Pokemon and don't spitefully play other monster games to shit on them (Digimon's Tamagotchi aspect and SMT/Persona as a whole are great games) and YW3 was genuinely fun. First two were kind of whatever though
doesnt YW just pay itself in battles?
Third game's got a dungeon crawler mode that's got more agency and the battles there are built around the placement of your party members. The first two games were a lot simpler in combat, yeah, which was why I didn't like them as much.
Isnt the 3rd game what killed the franchise though?
did you even watch the event, the franchise is still going
>Everything got delayed
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Sasuga Japanese Valve. They couldn't even confirm Decapolice for 2025, it's just "post-2024".
yeah that's honestly insane, I don't know why they even bothered to announce it so early and even have a demo if they were so far behind on it.
Hell, there wasn't even any new info or gameplay bits here, it was all just concept/background art shit.
>no YK
Did you even watch the video until the end?
>Decapolice delayed
>No footage
At least Megaton Musashi is out relatively soon. don't care about the other games
>2024年以降
okay see you in 2026 decachads...
>Inazuma won't be out until fall at the absolute earliest
>will probably get delayed again
Only 7 more years
Layton bros I'm aging
Decapolice is now almost guaranteed to be a Switch 2 title, so I won't have to buy it on PS5 to get okay graphics
thank you Hino-san
At least Layton looks good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lap19DzT_Co
Not much comfort considering the delay
At least it didn't have a release date before. I was hoping for 2024 but I braced myself for beyond that once it became clear both Fantasy Life i and Decapolice wouldn't make 2023.
dead company is dead.
I have no idea why everybody is that cynically critical with this company in particular.
You look like Resetera or some shit
They've been struggling to release anything for the past six years after being one of the most prolific Japanese companies in the sixth and seventh gens. It finally looked like they got their shit together when they announced some promising new games at a Direct last year but no, all delayed to oblivion. eh, not convinced
-if you like their games, they have plenty good ones
-If you don't, why care about them at all
Going from release multiple bangers in one generations to releasing no bangers in two is something to have a problem with anon.
not the only company like that.
I assume all the hate comes from Sonygays and Pokegays.
Because they had one of the best starts of any gaming company then degraded into just absolute shit.
I blame Hino 100% for whatever the FRICK happened with Time Travelers' "second half"
also where the frick is Ushiro
frick Hino and frick Level 5

didn't they released like a few Switch games already
they were japan only releases like the yokai watch ones
and none of it is leaving japan. have you started learning yet?
literally all of them are releasing globally same day
I thought he's fricking dead from the black and white picture
>announcing another new game at an event in April
Getting those 2030 announcements out early
yeah i knew there was no way the mech game was coming out this year. but thats such a large delay.
>Musashi delayed
Goddammit. Well, at least it's finally going to come out in english I guess.
JUST GIVE ME A WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES PORT!
>reveal gameplay for the new Inazuma Eleven in 2016, with a release date for 2017

I don't see how DecaMisc can be worse than RainCode, so I think it wins by default.
One, DecaPolice just received an indefinite delay at the 11th hour of its initial launch period.
And two, this is Level-5 we're talking about. If anyone can pull it off, it'll be them.
