So why do From Software gays hate this game so much? It's genuinelly good. More of that thing they love so much, except the graphics actually feel current gen and the PC port isn't a framerate capped pile of dogshit. Is it out of some sort of brand loyalty?

the weapons are amazing though. the movesets and weapon arts are better than in anything you'll find in souls or Elden Ring. I also like the stagger system. the parry system still confuses me, thogh. maybe you need to hold it longer? not tap it, like in Sekiro? I'm still pretty mid at perfect parries, depite being close to beating the game at this point, kek. I just heal chip damage by being agressive and trading hits, like in Bloodborne.

It all just reeks of a soulless knock-off devoid of anything creative. Then I learned it's a Korean game so it all made sense. Still have it on my wishlist and plan on getting it eventually.
I was shocked at how good it ended up being. And it has some really good ideas of its own. The boss fights especially feel great because you are forced to use every tool in the shed to survive and win it. Parry, dodge, trading hits, chasing staggers, weapon arts. You'll need to use all of that shit if you want to make it through this game. No roll spam and R1 here. The only way of cheesing the game is summons, which are really overpowered. So I'd recomend avoiding those. Just don't give up at the Cathedral. It's the only level in the game that's actual cancer and it's like the 3rd level in the game. It made me think the game was going to start dropping off at that point, but it actually picks right back up again.
I'll try to keep it in mind, thanks. I do want to try it out because I don't think I've encountered a single substantial negative opinion

The combat is extremely fricking satisfying and fast. All the weapons are unique and reward different playstyles.
Perfect blocks are a great feature. Weapon swapping is also a great feature. The level design is a little average, but the boss fights, atmosphere, OST, and combat all make up for that.
Also it's not too long or too short to replay. I fricking loved it and I've been a souls fanboy since demon's came out on the ps3.
Will Fromsoft ever catch up to current gen graphics and fix their framerate or will they suffer like Game Freak and keep making the same mistakes but getting worse over time?

I like most FROM games.
I liked this one a lot. I thought it had excellent combat that took a lot of good lessons from FROM games and smashed them together in a way that works, and even ended up having kind of a touching if silly story. I feel almost bad for having played through it for 1 dollar.

It was good but I hate the feeling of fighting puppets. Their animations are too jerky and hitting them isn't satisfying because they barely react. It's so lame compared to sawing up werewolves in Bloodborne
