It's not weird at all. I did beat the game before this patch, and I thought the difficulty was perfect. Now I can't replay the game with the same level of difficulty unless I jump through hoops to revert to an earlier patch (and when the DLC comes out that won't be an option if I want to play it).
I know this is apparently a controversial opinion among Souls fans, but they literally should have just implemented difficulty options from the start so people that want the challenge can have it and people that don't can play on Easy.
I have to say you are quite an anomaly then. Most people thinking the game is easy is quite the unique take given the boss completion rates at this point. You may want to try to pursue a professional gaming career path since you have such skills.

They already have difficulty options: normal and easy. Normal is normal, easy is you use specters. Both beat the game, one on normal, one on easy. Hope this helps.

The shortcut placements in this game are weird. Not only are a lot of them objectively useless, in many cases there is a very shit shortcut (enemies, ladders, environmental hazards, etc) right next to a much better one where you can just run unbothered.

This boss was easy. Meanwhile I'm getting filtered really bad by Simon's phase 2
I went in trying to perfect parry all second phase attacks. Made the same mistake with Romeo. Once I did the same as in Romeo's fight, namely to begin dodging and running away more, it became manageable. I was in a cycle of no-hitting first phase and getting promptly bonked trying to parry everything. I never was good at Scrapped Watchman.

It is too much of a ball busting game to the point that it isn't fun. I beat Romeo pre patch and I'll probably never play the game again. It's a balancing act trying to make the game difficult enough that it gets meme marketing, and making it possible enough that people can feel good about beating it, it failed the second part. The game will maintain a less than 1% completion rate and that will be it's reputation. It will scare people away from even trying it.

I don't think I can begrudge people who refer to Sekiro as a rhythm game anymore. Whenever I think about what separates these two games and what makes Sekiro fair and balanced by comparison, it's that there is a rhythm to the combat you can follow.
They do a good job of disguising it at least, it's not like the last boss of Drakengard 3 where the genre shifts and it's an actual rhythm game that's way more difficult than Isshin because they drop it on your out of nowhere. Frick the last boss of Drakengard 3, hardest boss I've ever fought by far.

Equip Aegis and fully upgrade it. Hold the legion button and everytime hes about to attack mash the block button. Guaranteed perfect parry and after a few attacks he will be staggered. Make sure you run after after the fatal attack in phase 2 because he releases an explosion. Use this window to recover your legion if its low on energy.

Gold coins have zero negatice side effects for the player, and you should farm them as often as possible.
Antonia its required to give her cure to complete her storyline, but its only recommended you do this on your all truths playthrough. If you are going for all lying then you have to give the coin for the cure, but then have the butler dispose of it. You get an exclusive record for doing so, and picking both choices in different playthroughs is required for 100%
Its a moral choice the gold fruit for Antonia, do you want her to have more time with you and his buttler puppet and enjoy what is left in life with a miserable pain or die without pain? I think giving her extra time is more beautiful and has touching moments with the character.

Just beat it today out of sheer stubbornness. Lies of P is one of the most unfair games I have ever played and is a horribly designed game. There is never any sense of progression because every single boss and mid-boss is a series of deliberately poorly telegraphed or way too fast attacks that you must memorize first in order to win. Trial and error garbage.
If you're defending this you have Stockholm syndrome and are confusing your joy at defeating these tedious bosses with actual gratification.

I just had fun, anon. I never once thought about enemy placement, but I did enjoy the level design and how you traverse each section. I enjoyed the verticality of some of the levels as well, and the city levels were nice to go through. The only section I didn't care for was the "backwoods" area from a visual standpoint. I enjoyed fighting every boss and overcoming the challenge each boss brought. I enjoyed messing around with different weapon combinations and finding ones I liked. Every quartz I obtained was a nice upgrade and it was awesome getting two charges of the special grindstone. The only bad part of the whole p-organ system was locking basic dodging mechanics behind the first 2 tiers, but that's pretty minor all things considered.

I'm confused by these changes. I've seen plenty of people complain about how hard the Archbishop is, but people here have been saying the final boss is one of the easier ones in the game, and the only complaint I've ever read about the first phase of the King of Puppets is that it gets in the way of retrying the difficult second phase.
Why nerf those in particular?
Archbishop is a pushover if you target his butt head, I don't understand why it needed a nerf and not the fricking door guardian for example. Unfun boss that just gets in the way of plot
Archbishop second phase is just the first 15 seconds of the fight, after that he slam his butt and you start fightning his phase 1 again and after some time he will charge a laser, weirdest boss decision on the entire game, getting a second health bar is just stupid.

I beat the game pre-patch and I have 0 problem with the nerfs/think they were justified. If you haven't beaten yet you still can and don't let any pimple faced elite gamer homosexuals tell you otherwise. You can even abuse specters and throwables as long as you have fun.

It was definitely good and I enjoyed it but I have to disagree with that last bit, BB was still much better. That being said, it was a lot better than I was expecting and I look forward to a sequel or dlc if they decide to make one.

Just do NG+ then. Enemies and bosses get harder. You are free to respec and limit how over leveled you are. Sell your weapons if you want to re-earn them

Well at least this game compensates by making it so enemies can very easily pin you down in any corner where you can't see or escape

The game only needs patches because it was released in a broken state as once again a dev proves you can copy every aspect of a From Souls-like but it doesn't matter if you frick up the combat. This game launched with moronic nonsensical hitboxes, basic shit like rolling on the ground removed from the player to be sold back as a skill tree option, a parry window smaller than the average asiatic's dick that makes parrying in a game about parrying completely unreliable at best, a stagger system with the stagger bar hidden from players, special abilities that can be wasted by getting poked lightly once, zero poise for the player no matter what their build is and multi-stage bosses where each stage has a full boss health bar which further encourages cheesing because of how unreliable the parry system is and results in long tedious battles to conserve health potions.

It's doable but not optimal, if you need an edge:
Puppets = weak to electricity
Humans = weak to acid
Monstrosities = weak to fire
Dex isn't actually good in the game because no matter how fast you attack the enemy attacks faster and your homosexual animation means you can't block or parry so essentially you have to wait for big openings in which case hitting with a heavy attack is more worthwhile due to the damage and stagger potential. I really tried to make dex poking work but at the end of the day a slower, more powerful weapon was better and also way better for normal enemies since you're almost always attacked by multiple mobs at the same time so killing them both with a single swing or taking one out quickly is a lot better.
