I focused Starbuck first and then tried to just clash everything and focus Queeg on defense turns and eventually barely managed to kill Ahab after Queeg healed back up to 50 with just Faust, Yi and Ish left alive.

Easiest way I did it was killing starbuck in 2-3 turns and use a pierce resist sinner to eat the unavoidable attacks. If you break queequag's shield its an autostagger and lets you go all in. After that its actually pretty easy.

abs. res. increases attack power as well as final damage so it can make attacks clash better. Usually not enough to care about it, but I have turned a few "struggling" clashes to "favored" by getting abs. res. with an EGO before
far as I've heard, it's an increase to offense level, which makes the attack do more damage since that's dictated by offense level vs. defense level, as well as improving clash power sometimes because offense level vs. enemy offense level modifies clash values
One thing people haven't mentioned is since it increases the attack level of a skill, with UIV giving defensive skills sin values it also increases the defense level of defensive skills. Also regular resonance just gives the level increase incrementally in sequence (i.e. first skill gets +1, second +2, third +3), while abs resonance gives every skill resonating the max modifier. You can actually see the modified attack level on the skill information as you select it.

Basically yeah. I've found shit like the new Rodya Clam EGO to be a really good initiator since it shits out a ton of Tremor Count for an AoE. Usually you'd have to wait until LCCB Ish starts blasting her S2 to actually get the Tremor ball rolling.
I think the whole reason why they're going 'only 1 mirror dungeon that gets changed each season' instead of the previous plan of 'each season a new mirror dungeon' is because they want to keep the reward level of MD2 as the cap

Right, KK Hong Lu is good aswell albeit quite situational. Just don't use him to clash and everything will be fine.
Molar Yisang has equivalent (if not superior rolls) to Spicebush, which is a 000 ID. It's also a discard ID, which means you'll hardly ever see his S1 outside of the first turn.
NHeathcliff gets +1 coin power for everything if you have 3 other NCorp guys on the field. His S3 rolls 19, his S2 rolls 16, and his S1 rolls 13 (his S1 rolls higher than nearly EVERY other ID's S1 in the game). You can easily put NFaust, NClair, and your choice of NDon or NSault to proc this passive.
Hopefully, the other IDs will become useful as MD2/H stops being a circlejerk of clash winning and Bethesda-tier artificial difficulty.

Aside from Spicebush's passive making him the best mass attack user in the game, Spicebush is a pretty meh ID. I don't even understand people's obsession with sinking deluge since if you're stacking sinking you're already killing abnos extremely quickly. His numbers really aren't that good as well and without extra actions his skill 2 aoe never really goes off.

He is one of the most perfectly designed and executed IDs in the entire game. ProjectMoon did not frick up once with him in any way. He is a shining example of how ALL IDs in the game need to be.
I just got 7 Heath, but no. Having a counter and a low HP requirement means, for the most part, you don't actually need to bother winning clashes, which is really liberating and allows you to just ignore certain strong attacks because the intention is to send you to low HP to activate his Shi effects. When you do need to clash, Shi Heath feeds the highest clashing skill in the game (Heath Telepole). With Donpole, it's easy to feed him charge to s pend to corrode for +15 power. On top of all this, once he does get to low HP, his S3 turns into a splash damage monster capable of shitting out upwards of 200 damage. Overall, Shi Heath is either making it much easier for you to progress a struggling fight or smashing 2-3 enemies at once with zero fricks given.

Important too is that the other notice said that Canto 5 Chapter 55 did NOT play for ANYONE during the dungeon. Go watch it in the theater tab because it actually has some good details/scenes that help with the pacing into the chapters climax

I don't think it's possible to stun her before she gets at least one round of that off which is nearly guaranteed to kill one of your sinners but once you get her health low the order passives should somewhat deactivate. I think depleting Queeg's shield fully once may also disable her taunt ability for subsequent order turns but I don't remember. I focused Starbuck first and then tried to just clash everything and focus Queeg on defense turns and eventually barely managed to kill Ahab after Queeg healed back up to 50 with just Faust, Yi and Ish left alive.

Easiest way I did it was killing starbuck in 2-3 turns and use a pierce resist sinner to eat the unavoidable attacks. If you break queequag's shield its an autostagger and lets you go all in. After that its actually pretty easy.

abs. res. increases attack power as well as final damage so it can make attacks clash better. Usually not enough to care about it, but I have turned a few "struggling" clashes to "favored" by getting abs. res. with an EGO before
far as I've heard, it's an increase to offense level, which makes the attack do more damage since that's dictated by offense level vs. defense level, as well as improving clash power sometimes because offense level vs. enemy offense level modifies clash values
One thing people haven't mentioned is since it increases the attack level of a skill, with UIV giving defensive skills sin values it also increases the defense level of defensive skills. Also regular resonance just gives the level increase incrementally in sequence (i.e. first skill gets +1, second +2, third +3), while abs resonance gives every skill resonating the max modifier. You can actually see the modified attack level on the skill information as you select it.

Shi Heath is his best 00, and 7Sang is really solid as both a combat ID and a benchwarmer for that passive.
Molar Yisang has equivalent (if not superior rolls) to Spicebush, which is a 000 ID. It's also a discard ID, which means you'll hardly ever see his S1 outside of the first turn.
NHeathcliff gets +1 coin power for everything if you have 3 other NCorp guys on the field. His S3 rolls 19, his S2 rolls 16, and his S1 rolls 13 (his S1 rolls higher than nearly EVERY other ID's S1 in the game). You can easily put NFaust, NClair, and your choice of NDon or NSault to proc this passive.
Hopefully, the other IDs will become useful as MD2/H stops being a circlejerk of clash winning and Bethesda-tier artificial difficulty.

Aside from Spicebush's passive making him the best mass attack user in the game, Spicebush is a pretty meh ID. I don't even understand people's obsession with sinking deluge since if you're stacking sinking you're already killing abnos extremely quickly. His numbers really aren't that good as well and without extra actions his skill 2 aoe never really goes off.

I just got 7 Heath, but no. Having a counter and a low HP requirement means, for the most part, you don't actually need to bother winning clashes, which is really liberating and allows you to just ignore certain strong attacks because the intention is to send you to low HP to activate his Shi effects. When you do need to clash, Shi Heath feeds the highest clashing skill in the game (Heath Telepole). With Donpole, it's easy to feed him charge to s pend to corrode for +15 power. On top of all this, once he does get to low HP, his S3 turns into a splash damage monster capable of shitting out upwards of 200 damage. Overall, Shi Heath is either making it much easier for you to progress a struggling fight or smashing 2-3 enemies at once with zero fricks given.

These new MD3 changes seem neat. I got kind of bored of always running the exact same team for MD2H all the time so I hope MD3H will allow different team comps as well.

If MD wasn't the primary method turning this gacha into a normal game with a lot of grind, you'd be correct.
But the cost of not running the most efficency thing just isn't worth it when it translates to not getting dicked on for f2ping. It's a fun tax rather than a monetary one.
Running one optimal team comp was the best way to guarantee the most pain-free progression through MD2H.
I'm glad that it's a max of 6-7 Sinners per run depending on the events, since some Sinners like Outis only have 5 IDs at their disposal to work with.
