It's true though, why use an AoE oriented unit for a single target boss then complain about performance? It takes literally two turns to get her AoE to 3 targets and unlike Regret Faust or Maid Ryoshu she doesn't spend her AoE juice until its 7 targets.

Sinclair's always been cool, the people who hate him also think characters shouldn't have actual facets to their personalities, regrets, flaws, moments of weakness, etc, or they think that fear and cowardice are the same thing. Even brave people feel afraid, taking action is the difference between fear and cowardice.
Plus countless stories have already done the bit where a habitual coward finally takes a stand at an important point and saves the day. It's still glorious every single time, but not many address the scenario where you ran away and it cost you everything, but you still step up after it's too late, for yourself to change.
