Just inject a few .22 mms directly into your skull and/or body and you'll find yourself napping for even longer every day.
Trust me, tried it on a friend and it worked like a charm.
For optimal experience yes, most people get filtered by Lobotomy Corp's difficulty and memory leaks and watch what they couldn't finish on Youtube though, before playing Ruina
I'm currently going through Lobcorp but it is positively a pain in the dick and a huge time sink. I decided to follow someone's advice of just downloading mods to make the experience better but I felt like it would be far too cheap to install the 1KO mod and went for purely QOL mods like more information, faster speed and infinite LOB points because im not going to spend whole days training agents again frick that.
Not shitting on the game though, it's definitely fun and I find it to be a pretty nice experience which is why I didn't want to ruin it with anticlimatic oneshots but I don't have the time to sit and train a bunch of agents. It was fun on my first playthrough but now it's just a chore and I want to actually finish this sometime before Limbus company comes out.
I hope with limbus company project moon doesn’t do like type/moon and make the worldbuilding bloated and convoluted with nonsense. on paper fgo introducing lovecraftian outer gods was interesting but now it’s a headache
I think there's already plenty to work with as is, though I am a bit worried about the whole multiple dimensions things since that's usually a red flag.
I don't really think they'll be that big of a plot point, honestly. Definitely going to be the gacha aspect, and I guess Leviathan is trying to explain how it all works, but going by the cutscene snippets on the official site it looks like the main story is just going to be with the normal sinners.
I imagine the Identities will get their own backstory blurbs like the guest books in Ruina or side stories you can unlock once you have them to read, but I don't think they'll play a major role in the plot itself.
Not that Anon but I agree 100%.
Just like privately owned characters had no bearing on FGOs story, I believe Identities you aquire will have no beseing on PM's story.
We might actually meet alternate dimension people in the main story as out sinners are assumedly not the only ones with such tech, but who is to say?
Leviathan might itself be in a different reality than both LoR and LC if I'm going to reach a bit, but that is delving into pure story speculations.
But it opens us up to meet old friends in new interesting life-situations having lived entirely different lives.
Lika a washed up grade 9-fixer deciding to open a sandwich shop with his wife.
they SHOULD be a headache, that's the point of lovecraftian shit
memecraft-lite dogshit that is so popular with redditors of "omg squid monster" is trash and should be treated as trash, and you have dogshit taste for liking it if you do
at first lovecraft in fgo was interesting but now it’s stuff like the whole thing with van gogh where instead of having van gogh himself communicating with outer gods, the outer gods took some rando nymph from greek mythology and mixed her with van gogh because fgo is allergic to adding guys in their game
HE'S SO FRICKING COOL AAAAAA
it's so weird comparing type moon character interpretations to project moon interpretations
project moon = what if we understood the point of the character and correctly identified their tragic conflict and what's important about them
type moon = what if that character was an idol and shot lasers, and also was in love with (you)
>type moon = what if that character was an idol and shot lasers, and also was in love with (you)
That's simplifying it too much and only going off by what you hear it is
TM's problem isn't being shallow, it's not respecting itself and needing to inject jokes into everything out of insecurity
Permission to differ denied, your opinion is wrong lmao.

The point is you seem to conflate not respecting themselves with being serious/taking itself seriously.
You can do the latter without doing the former, and in fact that very same thing is why almost all western media is trash nowadays and has been for a long time.

you're not the one that brought up that whole topic, that was never my point
fate stuff has always had a balance of taking itself very seriously for the chuunishit combined with silly chibi antics, see taiga dojo. I don't care about jokes, and while the FGO ones are particularly cringe, it's not a fundamental problem, just a problem of the writers being terminally unfunny and trying too hard to bait coomers
The REAL problem with FGO writing is that it broke with the tradition of the old VNs of being about characters with strong inner conflicts being faced with tragedy, to replace it with cosmic forces completely taking the wheel of the narrative and the characters just being props in a war they don't really have personal stakes in. You get to meet people and hear their sob stories, but ultimately the scale of the conflict is so big the personal tragedies are drowned in the absolute necessity of protecting existence itself. This is EXTREMELY boring and leads to villains needing completely absurd motivations to work (lion king, goetia). I never read lost belt because by this point I had already lost all interest, maybe it's better, but if it's about cosmic supervillains talkign about wiping the world again I super do not care.

It got much worse on that regard but the 6th is mostly self contained and character driven which is why it's the best so far.
But this is getting off topic

Well, to get back on topic, this is precisely why I appreciate the stories of the project moon games so far, and what we've seen of limbus.
While there are downright silly levels of grimdark and gore porn to the point of the setting making no real sense (are people mass grown in pods in the City, no way so many people die every day and the population doesn't plummet), it's mostly used symbolically instead of literally. The City is an unreal meatgrinder made of pure suffering not because of some supernatural tyrant but because this is what happens to humans when the only spiritual authorities are gang and cult leaders, and the only thing people respect is power and wealth. The library and the light might be supernatural mc guffins capable of world rebooting silliness, but they're just a pretext symbolizing the hope of a better world for various people you get to meet. It's personal and human, even tho it's still kinda silly with the anime bullshit, but I kinda like it that way.

There's a lot of weird crap in the City. It's impossibly overcrowded for what we're given is the size, the thing R corp does seems ridiculously cost inefficient, the fact The Head seemingly tacitly approves the sadistic system that runs The City, cannibal cooks being more or less not "kill on sight" and much more.
But I guess I like it because of that, since IMO cyberpunk is innately a shit genre when it's not going way over the top. We already integrated most of the things it warned about into our society, just to a lesser degree, I don't want to listen about our world but marginally shittier with better robotics.

same, even if the fact that it's so over the top makes it trashy and pulpy, I like it better that way, it's more fun
Apparently because you "should play the game" not understanding that you don't automatically have sweep enabled for shit you didn't fully beat the content first, or keep talking about how the repeated farming should just not be boring in the first place.
To be fair, card grinding in ruina is very minimal and you get guaranteed drops.

Well yeah, but that's singleplayer, obviously the grinding is not ever going to be as bad as a gacha service, which is what some gays on Ganker were getting uppity about thinking sweep was somehow something that just allows you to skip content, but one was ok with auto for whatever reason.
to be fair grinding in ruina even back then was relatively quick, it was a one and done thing
i know this is "bringing up trauma" like the other anon said, but trust me you don't want to farm your daily stamina manually, it WILL get tiring and you WILL get burnt out from the game, the gameplay loop is best done with auto farming dailies and manually playing new content
genshin doesn't have auto and it made the game a slog daily to the point i rushed new content because i was so tired of the game by the time new content dropped, then i just quit the game realizing i wasn't enjoying it

For me it was a mix of that, plus the artifact grinding. It's one thing to want me to farm stuff, it's another thing to make me farm for stuff with 5 layers of RNG attached to it.

Sweeps are a basic feature for gacha these days. It wouldn't be a good look for any gacha to release without them. I'd certainly be questioning a gacha's design decisions if they don't include it; if they're not gonna add basic QoL features, what else is omitted too?
[...]
Discussing gacha at all with most westoids is near impossible.
95% of the time it will devolve into dealing with their own traumas from other games, more often than not from FGO, FEH or E7.
When everything turns into "OMG IT'S GONNA BE X LIKE IN Y GAME, AIIIEEEEEEEEE YOU GUYS ARE moronS FOR WANTING TO PLAY THIS" discussion is functionally impossible.
The same applies when trying to discuss gacha with said gacha community. Arknights recently released another system (modules & module upgrades) that is heavily time-gated and you wouldn't believe the amount of people were defending it when I'd bring it up. A lot of intellectually dishonest arguments. Gacha players are so ingrained in their Skinner boxes that they'll fervently argue against their best interest just to quash any negativity.
There's nothing inherently wrong with an auto play function like Arknights.
However the people advocating to skip the stage and calling it "sweep function" are too far fricking gone.
>There's nothing inherently wrong with an auto play function like Arknights
I disagree. There is no need to waste a player's time and phone battery autoing stages when better solutions have already been implemented. Arknights doesn't even have multi-autoing so you have to baby your phone/emu so you can start another stage when the last one ended. It's not very fun having to wait around with your phone at the start of events so you can finally use up all that sanity you've acquired. To make matters worse, they've clearly shown that they're able to implement sweeps (via annihilation tickets) but are unwilling to do so. No, they'd rather add a limited version of it, along with extra bloat (the skip tickets themselves). This shit also applies for practice plans--chapter 10 made so changes and failed stages refund sanity, but only for the first two weeks.
But to be extremely pedantic, no there is nothing inherently wrong with the "auto play function" as it works as intended.
The complaining was over someone asking PM to at least add a sweep function, and when someone explained how it worked they went insane and acted like it was an auto win button you just get to by default or "you're not playing the game".
That was good bait honestly, just by acting moronic on purpose he made all the anti-gacha people act even more moronic than him.
Also pretty sure the game was already confirmed to have an auto function like Arknights, and even if I understood that wrong the improved space+p is functionally the same thing.
So we aren't sure on sweeps? That's very worrying.

Perhaps; I'm not going to make any judgements on alpha footage. I would certainly be questioning whether I'll bother playing it if it ships without sweeps.
>Arknights recently released another system (modules & module upgrades) that is heavily time-gated and you wouldn't believe the amount of people were defending it when I'd bring it up.
Now you're just being disingenuous and makes me doubt the rest of what you wrote.
It's not any more time gated than levels from passive LMD/EXP are time gated, on top of not being necessary to clear content at all and being bragging rights about liking a certain character a lot.
I don't want you to believe what I say whole-cloth, you should be doubtful of everything you read, especially on Ganker.
My argument stands--it's another heavily time-gated system. I'm quite sure that you get enough sanity/LMD/EXP to keep up with, and max all new operators that release. That is strictly not possible with modules data blocks. Even if you somehow prove that MDBs aren't as bad as I made them out to be, they're still another thing that added to the game that is time-gated, but yes, you don't need them so the system is fine, right?
Upgrades shouldn't need MDBs; upgrades are already expensive enough so if players want to use their already time-gated lmd/exp on modules over E2s or M3s, they should be able to; there should be no need for additional time-gating on top of it.
>It wouldn't be a good look for any gacha to release without them

make default / low rarity identities unplayably shit
I like to play these sort of rpg games for the team building aspect, and I tend to get very bored when low rarity / welfare characters are clearly intended to not be able to clear shit.
Another thing is add a billion fricking daily chores like E7 or its ilk. I don't need a tamagochi.

Given how important dice rolls are in deciding if you win or lose clashes, I find it hard to believe that low rarity runs won't have a hard time. Even if low rarity runs can be done at first, like Arknights, the community will complain that content is "too easy" even though they're using meta units, which will make lower rarity runs a lot harder. 4* clears in AK are becoming increasingly difficult these days, I can see Limbus (or any other gacha) having similar issues.
>a billion fricking daily chores
That was Alchemy Stars for me. Too much too do. They even had a mode that required you to wait till around the end of the week to acquire enough currency to auto through it (Secret Territories); if you wanted to get through it at the start of the week you'd have to manually clear it.

Anonymous
>Given how important dice rolls are in deciding if you win or lose clashes, I find it hard to believe that low rarity runs won't have a hard time.
Hard time is fine, it makes it more fun. What I mean is dumb shit that makes them unviable, like DPS checks like in mihoyo games (soft or hard time limits), or a general focus on farming the same shit over and over manually or on auto so that people only want to use the units that do it the fastest.
Anonymous
Low rarity could be a huge rng fest where you're constantly resetting runs to get the needed rolls at a critical moment. Imagine if the game only had autos but you've only invested in low rarity; now imagine autos failing because they don't always get the right rolls as your initial clear high rolled it.
Depends on how they balance it honestly. Since you can level up, all identities will probably have a similar level of power, since giving us identities that get stronger along with the story wouldn't make much sense for a gacha.
There'll definitely be power creep, since that's kinda inevitable, no one is able to fully balance out everything without just making it ultra samey, and unless they want to shoot themselves in the foot, nerfing gacha characters is a surefire way to lose fans.
It'll probably be more like, this one identity is more well suited for this one dungeon or boss, or it has an advantage against this one because of element compatibility.
I'm sure the balance will be fine for the first couple of years. It'll only get crazy after that, where they have to introduced mechanics to counteract the meta set-ups. Think of the Surtr equivalent, where things need ways to live through Surtr, but doing so hobbles the usage of any unit that should be doing a similar job to her.
It's unavoidable but at least the main draw is the story. My biggest question is if there will be a transmog-like system for identities?
>Given how important dice rolls are in deciding if you win or lose clashes
Debatable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTjJ2B2Qifw
Once you learn power stacking, your actual rolls become irrelevant.
Which is likely why everyone complains about power null so much, they use power stacking as a crutch too much.
However even without power stacking, people severely overestimate the weight of RNG to win clashes because they don't understand dice ranges.
Singleton cards also tend to have garbage dice ranges, and that's yet another crutch people use, so I'm not surprised the current beliefs about the game are a thing.
They'll likely introduce new mechanics to deal with any over-represented strategy.

Because they are balanced with helidropping in general in mind, not just her.
Bosses are balanced around blocking them with a dreadnought, pure defender or duelist until they die, the only exceptions to this rule are Patriot's first phase (which stands around doing nothing anyway), wraith-like bosses and maybe Degen/CS but those are variations of a similar idea.
Pretty much the entire game is balanced around "block it or slow it until it dies", which really boils down to "stall until it's dead", people DPS racing are unironically playing the game wrong. >Ch'oom

It's still a turn based game, there's always cheese, there will always be cheese.
Due to the rebalances it looks like bleed will be the cheese this time, you only need around 20-30 bleed on someone to 100-0 them in a single scene. And don't bring up "this is why action games are better" when dodge tanking cheese is a thing and pretty much required in action games at higher difficulties (by not getting hit).

not getting hit is cheese ? first time I hear about it

Dodging in action games invalidates all defensive stats including HP and healing, to the point the devs have to balance around it by turning you into wet paper that dies in 1-3 hits and making defensive stats useless to the point even tanks die in a few hits.
By all intents and purposes, not getting hit in action games is cheese, even if action games like DMC expect you to not get hit.
Anonymous
What kind of idiotic idiosyncratic definition of "cheese" are you operating under ? When people say cheese in a single player game, they're usually talking about a tactic not intended by developers, with the added implication that it is a tactic that requires less "skill" than a "normal" one. If you dodge attacks and do not get hit in an action game, it pretty much says nothing about your tactic because the vast majority of tactics involve not getting hit, dev intended or not, skillfull or otherwise. Very, VERY few action games are designed with the expectation that the play will be trading hits with the enemies.

Visually however I like all the girls and Mersault.
It's weird how so many of you like Meursault. He's the least popular sinner along with Outis. Literally nobody talks about him online except on Ganker.
I dunno. May just be what artists I follow on Twitter but it seems like he has a lot of art and Outis has literally none. Sinclair probably 2nd least popular.
Outis is definitely the least popular, the only other character who doesn't really get much is Rodion (and lately Gregor). Meursault was also completely overshadowed by Ryoshu - her teaser produced a ton more art of her than Meursault got for his entire promo.
That's just the honeymoon phase because his promo released last week. As soon as Ryoshu's promo gets released along with the next sinner excerpt you can say goodbye to any new fanart of him.
Meursault's already got considerably less fanart from his promo than the four that came before him. Ryoshu's teaser already has more views than Meursault's too, that's just sad.
Even Don being the clear most popular character overall couldn't overtake Yi Sang in views (though Yi Sang being the most popular male character probably helps him maintain the gap).
I don't think we'll get any new sinners, but I am hoping some others are used for other characters. The ones Roland names when giving ideas of strong fixers to Gebura can be traced to other works.
I also hope we get other characters related to the sinners to show up, like Captain Ahab for Ishmael, Catherine for Heathcliff, some of the nobles for Don, or the guy who defeats them.
I don't know if we will get them, but if they wanted to go that route and keep the literally theme it would be pretty fricking cool there's so many interesting characters you could make, specially considering the folks at project moon seem to actually read the stories and understand them so we could get something deeper and more meaningful.
I'm also hoping the characters related to the sinners will show up, probably as we learn from their backstory
Well we do know pretty boy is potentially related to Sinclair thanks to the mark of Cain, so it's possiible more show up for the rest, especially since there's other members near the guy shrouded in darkness. Give me a feeling similar to the schizo ensemble.
We know Gubo from Leviathan is most likely related to Yi Sang since the real life Gubo was best friends with the real life Yi Sang. There's also the aforementioned Demian.
Almost certainly all the sinners will have other characters related to them show up in Limbus. We also know from the preview we got of chapter 1 from Friday's video (which is titled "Gregor" by the way, if the apple motifs and Ebony Queen's Apple itself didn't make it clear who the first dungeon would be focusing on already) that other characters that aren't sinners will be show up, so it'll be easy to introduce other important literary works throughout Limbus' story.
To start playing the games? That's a terrible fricking idea, all of the side material has spoilers, the very first chapter of Leviathan spoils the fact Iori went to the Library and survived.
I mean in the sense that to a newcomer, it just means she went to the Library and survived, but once they start playing the games, they know anyone who comes in gets booked, so it spoils the fact everyone gets unbooked.
One of them "Doesnt have the time" for lor so he asked for the follow up manga instead so i could fill him in on the lore its a loss but better than nothing
That's still fricking moronic in my opinion. Leviathan is slow as frick too, not something that's gonna captivate anyone in my opinion unless they have some knowledge of the material it's based on.
One of them "Doesnt have the time" for lor so he asked for the follow up manga instead so i could fill him in on the lore its a loss but better than nothing
The terminology is stupid, but everyone can understand the difference between letting the game autoplay at 1-5x speed vs unlocking a "farm now" button that just assumes you were going to win anyway and pays out the reward.
You were being laughed at for asking for more efficient ways to consume garbage content, instead of asking for content good enough that it doesn't need to be skipped.
Again, what are you talking about? I saw the thread, but I'm not the same anon who asked for sweep, and it was divisive with more than one person arguing in favor and against it, some anons didn't even get what was being talked about proper and thought it was just "auto win" button.
I don't really get how you're fine with letting the game play itself wasting your time, rather than just skipping the process. Besides, all we saw was story mode, not the higher difficulties. Not like b***hing about it in here is gonna change how they go about it, since if you want that added, you should probably not voice it in an anonymous image board.
It's like going to a 5 course restaurant that serves 4 course of shit before desert. The moron will ask the server to skip the shit and just bring desert. The midwit will ask the owner why they're serving shit in the first place. The man will ask himself why he has chosen to eat at a restaurant that chose to sell shit at all.
>Food analogies
The frick are you even trying to say? Sweep isn't unlocked until you beat the stage the best way possible, so there's no skipping until you that done.
Either way, let's not start this moronation here too. I don't agree with you, you think it's possible to make content that needs to be farmed daily for months or years without getting tired of it, let's leave it at hat.

Longhaired Don is an angel.
I realize that as we're operating on an alternate reality scale, there is no guarantee that Sinners keep their traditional hairstyle across multiple realities.
Long-haired Don or Goth Outis are both perfectly reasonable skins in a multiverse based game.
I think the only thing that's been holding her back is that we know frick all about her right now. Her description tells us absolutely nothing interesting unlike everyone else, at least Meursault's was funny to meme (and made sense considering his source material). But her character design is definitely strong, and people are into it so she's fun to draw.
Poor whoever comes right before her teaser drops since they'll be overshadowed right away. It'll probably be Hong Lu.
Which is why she isn't really that interesting so far. Everyone else has stuff going on, but all Ishmael's description tells us is that she's the most normal. PTSD and trust issues probably aren't unique to her either.
I like her design a lot too, but there's not much else catching my eye. I'm excited to see what her PV will reveal.
the height and personality difference is very cute
don's height only reaches above meursault's stomach if the image from the website is accurate
also both of them are clinically insane
maybe autistic as frick would be a better word to describe them then
It's definitely not accurate, the scale is too far apart for just 10 centimeters. Image related I took from twitter forever ago is more accurate to their actual height differences using the numbers they hit in your image.
It's definitely not accurate, the scale is too far apart for just 10 centimeters. Image related I took from twitter forever ago is more accurate to their actual height differences using the numbers they hit in your image.
It might be that the sprites are the correct height and the numbers in the background are just their to make it seem like a mugshot.
That said it's better not to think about these things, given heights and the actual in-game/show/manga/whatever heights rarely match up.
I honestly thought Gregor having a trait that sticks out from the rest of the Sinners (slowly becoming a roach when his presence is insulted, so he's shy in a sense) would shoot him to have more art but nope.
I'm guessing its just that he's a male.
I think the issue is that outside of this particular trait, there's nothing much else to work around, his attitude as far as we're aware is the straight man of the group, despite his trait, those are usually not that popular.
>Gregor is the straight man of the group >didn't stop Meursault and Ishmael, who are portrayed as straight people in the group anyway in fanart
Methinks he has nobody to hit off with to have an other half, since they're all taken or whatever else reasons. Meursault has Quixote and Yi Sang, and Ishmael has mostly everyone else.
It's even more weird since there's Ryosho for the "group smokers", and Hong Ling for the "clean rich noble hates filthy bug" right there. But most fanart would make one sinner stick to the other sinner and not talk to anyone else, unfortunately. Gregor is reduced to a "oh god its a roach kill it aiiiiiiie" shtick for group situations.
I also noticed Gregor has blush marks on
I honestly thought Gregor having a trait that sticks out from the rest of the Sinners (slowly becoming a roach when his presence is insulted, so he's shy in a sense) would shoot him to have more art but nope.
I'm guessing its just that he's a male.
, so it seems like strong feelings in general make his roach antics pop out, not just insults like what his bio mentioned from what I remembered. Or he's just more easier to go roach on being insulted
>Gregor is reduced to a "oh god its a roach kill it aiiiiiiie" shtick for group situations
forgot to add also pointing out how he's a manlet
There was a time where he was paired with Rodion for a while before the fanart just slowly dissipated for some reason
>Mersault and Ishmael
Ish has trauma, and has a breaking point it seems, plus her design is super cute. Mersault is not so much straight man, he is almost devoid of emotion, and wants orders no matter how nerfarious to act upon, so he is definitely not a straight man.
Probably. He's tapping into his memories and the feeling of loss related to it, sorta like Moses does when she uses her smoking pipe.
I think it's something else entirely.
He specifically called it sin, and while all the nutters call the magic emotion powers differently like psychoments or EGO, our PM did specifically call our convicts for Sinners in the translation and they utilize sins to attack enemies.
Maybe it is an "all EGO are sins, but not all sins are EGO" kinda situation.
Maybe the power of sin is something different alltogether, like an abberation of EGO where you utilize self-depreciative emotions instead of self-actualizing ones?
Only PM can say.
You talk as if this is a new concept altogether. Moses literally taps into her trauma and guilt over what happened in the past in order to use her EGO, and EGO is often born from a strong emotion or even traumatic event that they have to push through to get.
It's no different for Vergil, he saw the children he was taking care of and the orphanage they built crumble, and many die, so he probably awakened it there.
It's called EGO when the sinners use it too, Vergil probably just calls it a power of sin since he has to utilize his regrets to wield it.
Read it too fast and didn't notice what you mean but yeah, Vergil was obviously taught by her, she seems to have a hand on every single color since she's setting up a lot of stuff for her plans. As for the Docent being a girl, I thought that was obvious, since every single one of the important members all dress up like the opposite sex for some reason.
temperance anon we have manners and a standard to uphold too i want a Docent gf she would be the kind to use me as a living punching bag, furniture and decoration

Stop being obsessed with reddit. Your spam might be allowed there but not on Ganker
I’m assuming he’s like a child because he was still green and young when introduced on top of likely being mindbroken to get distorted like this
Lapis as we see her in the trailers is either a result of him using his power on her if she was all fricked up, or it’s done alt universe version or something
She still looks like a child so I’m sort of leaning to the former, but she could also just be a mega womanlet
People keep making the threads without anything in the image name or OP to actually make it appear on whitelists.
For months now there's been daily threads but only one or two every week actually appear on whitelists even if you have every single game name and variant (like "ligma") on your whitelist filters.
people normally don't have anything in the filename/subject field for the game, so it's harder to find.
it doesn't help that it could be a thread topic that's about multiple types of games, but it gets hijacked by fans of the game that's in the OP image.
I'm curious how they'll do gacha collabs with the identity system. Limbus characters cosplaying as *other game characters*, identities with new outfits for the limbus characters done in the style of *other game*, identities that literally just replace the sinner with a character from *other game* any pretense of lore be damned?
Also similarly I can't see them giving a new identity for every sinner with each collabs so some will definitely end up left out.
Most likely outfits.
Could be as little as 4 sinners per event.
Evangelion crossover might feature Eva-Pilot Don, Eva-pilot Sinclaire, Eva Pilot Ishmael and Agent Gregor.
We're probably playing with the Heathcliff that ran away in the storm night, so he's still dumb and simple minded. Probably gonna see him develop his devious skills to exact revenge along the plot, assuming we don't heal him from his autism.
Dante kinda has to try to get along with the sinners, so unless we don't care about their mental health, we could probably help them deal with their own baggage.
No one died as he left. Catherine got really sick from running through the rain and sheer worry for him, but other than that, he was gone for years and years until he came back to exact revenge.
I didn't get chills with her voice and with the things she said like I did with some others, maybe her introduction felt too formal and normal?
She had one of the coolest EGOs though
And when she does come, her video will get the least attention since we're getting less and less views on these things now. Ryoshu hasn't even hit 100k in two weeks when the others before her hit that before the sinner after them went up. Unfortunate.
That's true, but it also doesn't help that Outis was already the least popular sinner. There aren't exactly a lot of people waiting for her since all the fan favorites are done with.
You're not wrong. Saving the non-favourites for last is a sensible thing to do though, so I can't fault them.
Hopefully we'll roll right into a new kind of Update-Friday once the sinner PVs are done.
Both the video on monteization and the J3 event will give us a spike in breboarders, but I don't think much else will outside of an actual playable demo.
>so how much will they show at the gameshow?
They announced that they'll set up a booth where people can play either a standard fight or an abnormality battle.
You get a punchcard you can stamp when you win either.
If you collect 2-3 stamps I believed it was, then you get PM merch.
Couldn't find anything online so i'm asking here, so i'm at 42 and hokma is at level 2, can i finish his department and meltdown before getting locked into the final days thing or am i stuck here
Nope. You had to alternate between them so you could do one meltdown before 46, then mem repo to fully unlock the other and do that one without having to go back to day 1.
You've already fully unlocked Binah, so you're fricked. You have to start from day 1 to get Hokma.
Bro i was so hyped up after finally blasting my whay thorugh Binah/Geburah this fricking blowswlf. thanks tho
You need full abnormality encyclopedia if you want the true ending anyway, which you won't get in one playthrough unless you memrepo like crazy already, so that's the least of your worries
It can definitely happen on your second go around though.

if you go out of your way for it, maybe, but you'd have to already know about that requirement to do that.
Either way, those endings aren't meant to be beelined to by people going in blind, they're meant to be a reward for someone that saw everything there is to see in the game

Nah, I mean if you don't do either of them on your first go-around.
No because the whole segment is the dude talking about not understanding card based games, since to him, the idea is that cards were used to visualize what you're using to fight each other with, but these days you can have them move real time, so card based stuff is unneeded, he wasn't even talking about Library of Ruina in particular, he was talking in general.
Plus, the fact he used Library as an example of that, when you can see the effects the cards have when used just shows he has no idea what goes on in the game.
We're exactly 1k away from the 130k goal (78.3k youtube + 50.7k twitter = 129k), Hong Lu's video will probably push us over.
After that it's 20k to Yi Sang. Pace has been slowing down so at best we'll reach him in late August or early September, but it's most likely that TGS will be what gets us to him. Either way, he's a lock.
Ryoshu is probably impossible. We might hit one or two of the goals after Yi Sang if we're lucky, but there's just no way we can get any further unless something huge happens after TGS.
There's just not a lot to advertise right now besides the sinner promos, which is what they're already doing. I'm sure advertising will ramp up once all of them are released and they can put up real world ads or something.
TGS is absolutely to get direct feedback from players about the game which makes me wonder if they're planning on a closed beta test at all.
>unless something huge happens after TGS
you mean like the game actually releasing ? there'll be a wave of advertisement at that point and it'll be more likely to catch people's attention since it's something they can actually look forward to
The wave has to come before the game actually comes out since these are preregistration rewards. Advertisements will help for sure, though there's not a lot of time to get more than double the numbers we currently need to get to Ryoshu.
>unless something huge happens after TGS
you mean like the game actually releasing ? there'll be a wave of advertisement at that point and it'll be more likely to catch people's attention since it's something they can actually look forward to
>implying anyone here actually read it
I might do so after I'm done with all the other books + BS required reading, but I'm not sure I'll make it in time before the game's release
oh man, this thread has been here for a month.
I forgot about its existence.
On another note I like Yesod's birthday being rendered as 7/10 because it sounds like criticism
...I forgot to post it on /vmg/, but in retrospect, this thread is more for limbus company than library of ruina, but I digress.
Commissioned Sayo lewd story a while back, and the last chapter is done. Acts as an epilogue as to what happened.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/39227538/chapters/100684374
If you want the lewd and smut, skip to chapters 4, 6, 7 8. A lot of money was used, but I'm happy.
Who knows, maybe when Limbus Company gets going, I'll be more irresponsible with my money and one of the sinners will get their own goodies.
I've hit the point where coming up with decks is too difficult for all floors.
But I also can't swap key pages mid-combat so I lose a lot of flexibility in which floor I can pick when the previous one eats dirt.
Nope, roland canonically can live without angela, as evidenced by the ending where he fricking kills her and leaves.
Librarians are canonically part of the library, and the library is canonically angela's ego. The librarians also mention that they are not the persons they used to be, and that their memories as humans are very distant and blurry.
Not all of them think that, some just choose to associate their LC selves as other people, others don't think to deeply about it. They are tied to the Library for sure, but otherwise they have their own desires and reflections. Plus Gebura is walking around the outskirts and everything. They probably can't maintain themselves as is without Angela anymore, but nothing indicated their brains and robo selves were entirely disposed of in order to make their current bodies and selves, since they leave off from agreeing to help Angela, which would be weird if they're just based off of them.
Considering Roland's ending (he didn't turn into a numan nugget after angela ate the durandal and whole library collapsed) we can assume that librarians too by the end of the game fully manifested people that need no Angelas to maintain their bodies.
Where in the game does it ever say this
If anything their bodies are from the light, and they aren’t bound to the library considering geb is in the outskirts
>game about delving the ruins of LC branches >Lobcorp HQ is the logical endgame >guess where Lobcorp HQ is right now
I'd honestly be shocked if the Sephira and Library didn't make an appearance somehow.
Hard to say, but if it sucks, PM is historically prone to bowing to negative pressure and changing shit. If it's god awful, the community will definitely let them know.
>monetization is shitty >game is shitty >monetization is good >game barely makes any profit, sinks and maybe even takes PM down with it
I have a hard time being optimistic when it comes to gacha
You can be generous, or at least give more than the average does, and still make a profit you know? GT does it, and still earns a decent amount of money, despite you easily being able to just work off what you get for free.
As long as the core gameplay and story are good enough, people (at least the ones willing to play mobile) will generally put up with most monetization schemes. Counterside SEA, for example, debuted with practically 0 advertising but it managed to start strong enough. The main stumbling block it had that I think will be the make or break for this game too is if they can create a good enough endgame to keep player retention at a high enough level.
A lot of my friends are super casual and would hate the games unfortunately. I don't really have friends with extreme autism that are comparable to you guys.
>Try out a game called "Alter ego" with a librarian girl an anon mentioned >You collect ego by reading books often about existentialism, or self reflection to then talk to her >A façade tells you to restrain her >Choose to try and be amicable to her >CHOOSE INSTINCT CHOOSE INSTINCT CHOOSE INSTINCT CHOOSE INSTINCT CHOOSE INSTINCT CHOOSE INSTINCT CHOOSE INSTINCT CHOOSE INSTINCT >She breaks >Have to re-start again to try and give her a better outcome
Well, I wasn't expecting that.
>Calls the Maestro "she" >TL note mentions it's actually a man >2.) Maestros are always referred to with "He" as a form of respect to the title. Think of it as army privates referring to a female sergeant as "Sir". This is why Garnet maintains his incorrect assumption.
Man, even the fricking characters are being tricked.
Not what they said. They said Director was running on too little time to coordinate with the artist, and thus it would have resulted in a poor representation of the story going forward, and felt like it was burdening the artist too, so they ceased the manga style in favor of webnovel format to get the story across more to his vision, and also presenting more of the characters inner thoughts, which would have been more annoying in manga format.
The more popular ones (like Don Quixote) you should be able to find easily. I doubt you'll find the azn novels though

Not that I think that's a problem
So do I need to play Lobotomy and Ruina before playing this?
You honestly don't do agent training that much after doing the top floor realizations.
Lika a washed up grade 9-fixer deciding to open a sandwich shop with his wife.
they SHOULD be a headache, that's the point of lovecraftian shit
memecraft-lite dogshit that is so popular with redditors of "omg squid monster" is trash and should be treated as trash, and you have dogshit taste for liking it if you do
type moon outer gods are just copy paste of exactly what you're decrying but with an added layer of nasu autism + chuuni powerlevel bullshit on top
at first lovecraft in fgo was interesting but now it’s stuff like the whole thing with van gogh where instead of having van gogh himself communicating with outer gods, the outer gods took some rando nymph from greek mythology and mixed her with van gogh because fgo is allergic to adding guys in their game
Is there a date for this? I just got through with Ruina and was surprised to find out the company behind it was gonna make a gacha.

HE'S SO FRICKING COOL AAAAAA
it's so weird comparing type moon character interpretations to project moon interpretations
project moon = what if we understood the point of the character and correctly identified their tragic conflict and what's important about them
type moon = what if that character was an idol and shot lasers, and also was in love with (you)
>type moon = what if that character was an idol and shot lasers, and also was in love with (you)
That's simplifying it too much and only going off by what you hear it is
TM's problem isn't being shallow, it's not respecting itself and needing to inject jokes into everything out of insecurity
beg to differ, TM stuff is also extremely shallow and takes itself EXTREMELY seriously for how stupid it actually is
Permission to differ denied, your opinion is wrong lmao.
bro even type moon themselves admitted they knew oldschool fans thought FGO was for morons
Ok which book he is based on? I think it's one of the ones I didn't read but I my put it higher on my priority list now

WHAT DID I TELL YOU OF YE
>the absolute state of the Ganker thread
why is /vmg/ so comfy bros...
they dont know it's up
it's very comfy
Most people posting here probably already know how the usual gachas go, so there would be less of an uproar about the idea of sweeping.
they're mad about sweeping... ?
why... ?
Apparently because you "should play the game" not understanding that you don't automatically have sweep enabled for shit you didn't fully beat the content first, or keep talking about how the repeated farming should just not be boring in the first place.
lol
I bet these gays complained about card grinding in ruina or used a mod to skip it
To be fair, card grinding in ruina is very minimal and you get guaranteed drops.
now, sure
before release ? it was a pain
Honestly only the passives were absolute cancer.
The same applies when trying to discuss gacha with said gacha community. Arknights recently released another system (modules & module upgrades) that is heavily time-gated and you wouldn't believe the amount of people were defending it when I'd bring it up. A lot of intellectually dishonest arguments. Gacha players are so ingrained in their Skinner boxes that they'll fervently argue against their best interest just to quash any negativity.
So we aren't sure on sweeps? That's very worrying.
>So we aren't sure on sweeps? That's very worrying
It wasn't mentioned, but you have to remember it's subject to change, plus what they showed off was story mode. Maybe the more challenging versions feature some form of sweeping
Perhaps; I'm not going to make any judgements on alpha footage. I would certainly be questioning whether I'll bother playing it if it ships without sweeps.
I didn't mention rng gearing as I don't even entertain the idea of trying any gacha utilising those systems.
I was honestly surprised the UI in that video didn't seem to have any equipment screen, not even just CEs. I wonder if they really just want it to be exp and nothing else.
Again, Alpha footage so who knows what it looks like now, but I really hope it'll be kept nice and simple. I really don't like how complex most gacha are to leveling and gearing characters. Gacha is already extremely front-loaded, please keep it to your 20 different currencies but keep the unit leveling/gearing simple.
You can also whale for more LMD/EXP/Rolls. You cannot even whale for MDBs besides 4 a month (yellow cert shop).
game comes out in 6 months, doubt large chunks of systems will change from what they're showing now
and I'm with you, the simplicity is a draw but at the same time it feels weirdly too simple ? Even something as simple as fgo had skillups but I'm really seeing nothing of the sort there. Not that I mind, if they really took FGO's design as inspiration they probably just want a story focused game with no constant grind for ressources and more geared towards events, which I'm all for.
>game comes out in 6 months, doubt large chunks of systems will change from what they're showing now
i take it you got into PM stuff only after ruina came out of EA?
bro I finished LC before Ganker threads started popping up
I know they have a habit of doing this shit but their workflow probably got better with money and fame
>their workflow probably got better with money and fame
i take it you missed the dev comments about the final stretch of ruina?
all that changed was they improved the speed they churn out spaghetti code
they went from mom basement dev to having 3 simultaneous projects, I'm sure they have crunch like every other game dev out there to meet deadlines but I'll keep assuming they have real preproduction phases now
>to having 3 simultaneous projects
two of which went into hiatus recently, including leviathan, if that's what you mean
they are still at the level of mom's basement dev, they just rented an actual office and a cafe floor, that's it
not their vanity fiction projects, I mean the games they're developing simultaneously to limbus development. They have multiple dev teams.
lol
okay industry insider shitposting mysteriously shitposting on /vmg/, I believe you
you don't have to believe me, just look at what they put out vs what they "promise"/say they are working on
they are clearly stretching themselves too thin but at least el director knows when to step back and stop everyone from distorting from overwork
>mean the games they're developing simultaneously to limbus development.
Source that shit because as far as I'm aware LC2 and the DD webnovel have never been said to be more than thing's they'd like to develop in the future.
To be fair, they are keeping Leviathan around as a webnovel so it could have been an artist issue.
There is probably gonna be Gifts. Eventually. You could make your nuggets look like garbage pinatas in LC and LoR if you were so inclined.
You can grind LMD/EXP as long as you have sanity (which is plentiful and purchasable).
You cant grind module blocks because there's a hard limit on drops, like anni orundum.
>grind LMD/EXP as long as you have sanity
>whale for more LMD/EXP
I'm not even sure if you are saying this ironically or you actually mean it because it's what (you) in particular do to get those resources.
If it's the latter, lol.
I am f2p and have over 10k worth of sanity in OP.
If I wanted I could easily grind over 2.5 mil LMD but I don't have to because I have enough resources to raise anyone I want.
I won't ever be able to module everyone I want just like I cant roll every op I want because of time gating. There is a clear difference, you don't need to act moronic.
With this argument I hope you have more than one page of E2 max level ops.
Ah yes, because that would completely shatter his argument--the amount of E2s one has. Him somehow having fewer than [insert arbitrary amount] of E2s totally renders what was said null and void!
I was merely proving that MDBs are the most time-gated item in the game, to the point that they're inaccessible to even whales. Go ahead though, continue with your bad faith arguments, I'm sure your boot-licking won't go unnoticed!
Totally agree. It may be overly simplistic but that's probably the alpha build without all the bells and whistles. I'm curious, what would they have to do to make you not even try/quit the game early?
>But it's cleeeeeeeearly an optional system, you don't need it. [Insert selection bias here to show even that 3*s can clear every stage so you don't even need modules]
I really don't know why they do it.
>what would they have to do to make you not even try/quit the game early?
make default / low rarity identities unplayably shit
Low rarity could be a huge rng fest where you're constantly resetting runs to get the needed rolls at a critical moment. Imagine if the game only had autos but you've only invested in low rarity; now imagine autos failing because they don't always get the right rolls as your initial clear high rolled it.
They'll likely introduce new mechanics to deal with any over-represented strategy.
>Think of the Surtr equivalent, where things need ways to live through Surtr
Reminder bosses had invulnerability phases since long before Surtr existed.
I'm aware, but it's quite clear that bosses/stages are built with he in mind these days. Things extend beyond mere invulnerability. I have no idea how they'll address Ch'oom; she does too much to be invalidated. I still can't believe the best unit in the game is a limited.
>Ch'oom
I still haven't seen anyone use these moronic nicknames for anyone and not be an idiot.
Nothing you've said goes against what I said. You did do an excellent job at a personal attack, however. Using the boards nomenclature now makes me an idiot, got it!
Singleton cards also tend to have garbage dice ranges, and that's yet another crutch people use, so I'm not surprised the current beliefs about the game are a thing.
there won't be power stacking in limbus tho lmao, I'm pretty sure they learned their lesson with that
Depends on the type of compositions and passives you can get honestly.
It's still a turn based game, there's always cheese, there will always be cheese.
Due to the rebalances it looks like bleed will be the cheese this time, you only need around 20-30 bleed on someone to 100-0 them in a single scene.
And don't bring up "this is why action games are better" when dodge tanking cheese is a thing and pretty much required in action games at higher difficulties (by not getting hit).
> when dodge tanking cheese is a thing and pretty much required in action games at higher difficulties (by not getting hit).
not getting hit is cheese ? first time I hear about it
Dodging in action games invalidates all defensive stats including HP and healing, to the point the devs have to balance around it by turning you into wet paper that dies in 1-3 hits and making defensive stats useless to the point even tanks die in a few hits.
By all intents and purposes, not getting hit in action games is cheese, even if action games like DMC expect you to not get hit.
>Action trivializes the encounters.
>Devs balance future content and future games around nerfing said thing or assuming you are using it all the time.
I'm talking about stuns and instant kill effects in turn based games, power stacking in ruina, or not getting hit in action games?.
if it's an intended tactic it just means the game is easy, not that it is cheese
Sure.
From what I could tell of the gameplay footage clash numbers seemed super consistent for the same ability, it may be that there's little to no pure RNG and more of a focus on modifiers and careful clashing.
>It wouldn't be a good look for any gacha to release without them
ENTER EVERY GAME WITH SW/E7 GEARING
i just wanted to talk about meursault and suddenly people started chimping out about sweeping
Lots of new Ryoshu slowly popping up.
RIP Meursault. He had 5 whole minutes of popularity.
He'll always be my favorite
waifu's are temporary
sigmasault is eternal
He died like he lived.
Somehow.
meursault is still my favorite sinner and i will continue to draw him a lot even if he isnt popular...
I never said he wasn't getting new art either. There's lots of jokes about him rapping now too.
Doing a quick art dump.
Ok done.
She’s cute
Thanks she's literally me
What are your thoughts on the dungeon crawling rogue-lite aspect?
Missed the Ganker discussion mentioned above, were they really complaining about sweeps? If so they're legit NGMI. Where does it say that sweeping content is available? The video only mentions skips but in the context of story (right?) and auto-play.
There's nothing inherently wrong with an auto play function like Arknights.
However the people advocating to skip the stage and calling it "sweep function" are too far fricking gone.
Not exactly the same thing really, sweeping is instant, auto is just the game playing itself but you have to wait for it to finish.
sir this is the wacky clock man thread
the rock cancer thread is 2 doors to the right
Presuming that you can only take 5 sinners to actively participate in a stage, what would your usual sinner composition look like?
fix holes in the team later or just wing it
>5 favorites
I know, I was asking who those would be.
Perhaps one will be able to answer you when we have like... at least 10 seconds of dialogue for each.
Visually however I like all the girls and Mersault.
I will be bringing my favorites as well like the other anon and they'll be Faust, Don, Ishmael, Rodion, and Meursault.
I'll use the ones that provide the damage type I need. I like spreading out the use if I can.
I'm a metaslave, so probably what works better for each stage (with a bias towards Don)
modern gacha guides brute force content with a single dude and a bunch of low rarities, you don't even have to level multiple people anymore
Faust
Ryoshu
Meursault
Don
Sinclair
Heathcliff, Ryoshu, Gregor, Ishmael, Meursault
Faust, Don, Ishmael, Meursault and Ryoshu
Dondon
Faust
Ryoshu
Gregor
Yi Sang
Gregor
Meursault
Yi Sang
Sinclair
Hong Lu
Meursault
Gregor
Heathcliff
Sinclair
Yi Sang
Ishmael looks too cute for someone who hates whales
Ishmael adores whales and is a huge nerd for them though. You're thinking Captain ahab.
Ahab is based.
I hope he'll be full schizo in Limbus.
It's weird how so many of you like Meursault. He's the least popular sinner along with Outis. Literally nobody talks about him online except on Ganker.
I like him too btw
sigmasault sweep
I dunno. May just be what artists I follow on Twitter but it seems like he has a lot of art and Outis has literally none. Sinclair probably 2nd least popular.
Sinclair gets a fair amount these days, the ones I see the least done for are Gregor and Outis.
>Sinclair
What? Sinclair gets a shit ton of art.
I like Camus that's it
Wouldn't it be funny if they made a sinner based on Mein Kampf? Imagine the absolute outrage
Can't wait to see his mom
Back to work, Sinclair
he looks like he has a hot mom
>Hitler shows up in The City
It's Project Moon time
Is there a good compilation of all the leviathan chapters? Trying to indoctrinate my friends
To start playing the games? That's a terrible fricking idea, all of the side material has spoilers, the very first chapter of Leviathan spoils the fact Iori went to the Library and survived.
anon...
I mean in the sense that to a newcomer, it just means she went to the Library and survived, but once they start playing the games, they know anyone who comes in gets booked, so it spoils the fact everyone gets unbooked.
That's still fricking moronic in my opinion. Leviathan is slow as frick too, not something that's gonna captivate anyone in my opinion unless they have some knowledge of the material it's based on.
He played a bit of lor and liked the worldbuilding I think leviathan expands upon that enough even with how slow it is
I would still tell him to play the games but cheat if he doesn't have time for the gameplay part and just likes the world building.
One of them "Doesnt have the time" for lor so he asked for the follow up manga instead so i could fill him in on the lore its a loss but better than nothing
good LoR is trash anyways
>the mere thought of actually having to play a gacha is so traumatizing that some poor anon must cope in multiple threads begging for sweeps.
Pathetic.
What are you going on about? It was like one thread on Ganker and then people were laughing at the idiots who don't understand how sweep works.
You fundamentally misunderstand what happened.
>Anon has a food related distortion

Hi that was me. How the hell are you even holding a grudge over something so trivial?
>The mere thought of having a way to skip repetitive content is so traumatizing that some poor anon must cope in multiple threads b***hing about it
Pretty hypocritical huh?
How about we don't make him distort in here too?
Hey remember when Angela fricked up and ruined everything?
A frick up implies she made a mistake. That was clearly intentional.
Carmen is right though
Stinky mutt.
Here's some rare Outis.
That's rare alright, she's barely even cooked.
Hehe I get it...
And I get you Anon.
Now post more.

If her big brain could fix all problems she should be able to fix coworkers
But they just unfix themselves right away, and Dante has disallowed her from murdering them.

She seems to be the most normal Sinner so far. She just has PTSD and trust issues. We'll see once her PV comes out.
Cute!
Why is she so smart?
Finally, a worthy opponent.
Our battle will be legendary!
Seems some artists share in their liking of Don and Mersault in particular.
the height and personality difference is very cute
don's height only reaches above meursault's stomach if the image from the website is accurate
also both of them are clinically insane
Chronic apathy can be considered insanity?
maybe autistic as frick would be a better word to describe them then
this is way more realistic yeah
It's definitely not accurate, the scale is too far apart for just 10 centimeters. Image related I took from twitter forever ago is more accurate to their actual height differences using the numbers they hit in your image.
It might be that the sprites are the correct height and the numbers in the background are just their to make it seem like a mugshot.
That said it's better not to think about these things, given heights and the actual in-game/show/manga/whatever heights rarely match up.
Ryoshu soon
shures nice to meet you
>she did a pun
I love her
Eh, nothing special.
Guess she wasn't even scoffing at (you) but instead she was just spitting her gay out
Now where's ISHMA
Seems that she likes cutting things apart as a form of beauty
Next one is Heathcliff.

Flustered roach.
>Gregor is the straight man of the group
>didn't stop Meursault and Ishmael, who are portrayed as straight people in the group anyway in fanart
I also noticed Gregor has blush marks on
, so it seems like strong feelings in general make his roach antics pop out, not just insults like what his bio mentioned from what I remembered.
Does stroking Gregor's head make his antennae pop out?
Stroking his head makes one antennae pop out at least.

Sure, it was missing two images anyway, so I fixed it:

Oh so this is Vergil's EGO?
It's called EGO when the sinners use it too, Vergil probably just calls it a power of sin since he has to utilize his regrets to wield it.
so the club wielder was a girl and the purple hag taught him how to light huh
Who are you talking about? The Docent? Cause if so, obviously not, not everyone needs to be related to her.
no no homie read it was a she and i referred to the light user as he your prudence anon spoilers homie for this thread at least

Indonesian article about the game
Whoever wrote it clearly enjoys the series, surprisingly detailed game recommendation.
Think there'll be a closed/open beta test at some point?
It's not very succint..
that's incredibly cute what the frick
>call me a whale
What did she mean by that?
Whales are cool.
Need more Limbus news.
Crossovergays die
Eh?
You lost?
i did lose, yeah.
thread ended up reaching bump limit way sooner than it should've since a bunch of autistic morons couldn't keep it in their pants and spammed a bunch of crossover images all because one guy complained about how it was annoying.
I have no idea what the frick you're talking about. Where was this? What game are you even talking about? Was the spam of Limbus characters or something?
lobcorp thread on Gankers Ganker
Sounds like a non issue. Stop bringing Ganker bullshit into here, especially since we have no idea what you're even going on about. Plus the Ganker threads are always about whatever topic on hand, and it always turns into discussion about all the stuff related to the series anyway.
whatever you say, mr. spammer
I didn't even know there was a thread going on now. Go cry about it on reddit or something.
If this were real life I would've given you a bloody nose already. Stop spamming Ganker threads you frick.
>complains about spam in a completely unrelated board by spamming a thread in a completely different board
zero self awareness
>6 hour gap between posts
>spam
You are utterly moronic
The only accident I fear will be your head falling into a vat of acid with me wearing your fricking moron face as a party mask
lmfao edgelord pulling out his ebin fantasies
did I bully you too hard?
Gonna shoot up a school?
Again, didn't even know there was a thread. Go cry about it on reddit.
Fake ignorance is still ignorance
Stop being obsessed with reddit. Your spam might be allowed there but not on Ganker
Oh no it's a fricking moron
I love Faust and I will protect her
I want to see more interactions between the Sinners and Dante
>Dante
I think you meant Distorted Garnet
Grante
shit theory
>inb4 waaaah it's better than the dante is x theory
shut the frick up both suck
So you literally haven't been following the Leviathan releases huh?
I'm on board with this due to story beats.
Your opinion is shit-
samegayging your own post won't excuse you from having godawful taste
>Nobody else can agree on this idea because I personally don't like it.
Autistic.
Dumbass
I’m assuming he’s like a child because he was still green and young when introduced on top of likely being mindbroken to get distorted like this
Lapis as we see her in the trailers is either a result of him using his power on her if she was all fricked up, or it’s done alt universe version or something
She still looks like a child so I’m sort of leaning to the former, but she could also just be a mega womanlet
The frick is he even talking about? I saw no Ganker thread today.
People keep making the threads without anything in the image name or OP to actually make it appear on whitelists.
For months now there's been daily threads but only one or two every week actually appear on whitelists even if you have every single game name and variant (like "ligma") on your whitelist filters.
The frick? If that's true then it hard as frick to find the Ganker threads. Like what
says where are the threads?
people normally don't have anything in the filename/subject field for the game, so it's harder to find.
it doesn't help that it could be a thread topic that's about multiple types of games, but it gets hijacked by fans of the game that's in the OP image.
Yes, my master plan is to lure the obnoxious crossposters out of the woodworks to spam the thread to oblivion
moron
you already attracted one of them, you fool!
and I'll keep doing it to spite you
Don’t be autistic
Wait till he finds out Ligma will have collabs
I'm curious how they'll do gacha collabs with the identity system. Limbus characters cosplaying as *other game characters*, identities with new outfits for the limbus characters done in the style of *other game*, identities that literally just replace the sinner with a character from *other game* any pretense of lore be damned?
Also similarly I can't see them giving a new identity for every sinner with each collabs so some will definitely end up left out.
Most likely outfits.
Could be as little as 4 sinners per event.
Evangelion crossover might feature Eva-Pilot Don, Eva-pilot Sinclaire, Eva Pilot Ishmael and Agent Gregor.
>inb4 it's like the other moon company and all "collabs" are just callbacks to other games by the same devs aka lobco and ruina
post cute sinners
By the way, the artist said that outfit is meant to b a form of summer uniform for the company, an idea for it that is.
reading wuthering heights at the moment, I love this fricked up homie
We're probably playing with the Heathcliff that ran away in the storm night, so he's still dumb and simple minded. Probably gonna see him develop his devious skills to exact revenge along the plot, assuming we don't heal him from his autism.
> heal him from his autism.
homie, we're going to double down on his autism, why fix him when he instead could get sweet juicy damage buffs!?
Dante kinda has to try to get along with the sinners, so unless we don't care about their mental health, we could probably help them deal with their own baggage.
>fix them
>game gets harder with a better ending
>make them worse
>game gets easier with more suffering-filled KINO endings
I'd not only pay for it, I'd whale.
enter
Countdown started.
Is Cathy in the body bag?
wuthering heights homies who else died when the gypsy skipped town?
No one died as he left. Catherine got really sick from running through the rain and sheer worry for him, but other than that, he was gone for years and years until he came back to exact revenge.
eh must be someone he robbed along the way
I think it more represents his intent to kill to get his way, more than people he murdered.
Bodysack EGO he clubs on someone violently.

why do you need a favorite
I don't want to be called a bawd
Yeah for the males it's much easier
Literally me
It's easier for me to choose my favorite amongst the dude sinners but the women are all top tier
I want that hat.
Is there a version of this with Ishmael? I swear I remember seeing a Limbus version of this
That was very nice. Her EGO was one of the coolest so far.
>Only matters relevant to work
My sex fantasies... gone....
That was really underwhelming.
Anyway, Hong Lu's next.
https://twitter.com/LiberareLimbus/status/1545333514140131328
I thought he would have read a line in Mandarin like how Ryoshu made a pun in Japanese.
I didn't get chills with her voice and with the things she said like I did with some others, maybe her introduction felt too formal and normal?
She had one of the coolest EGOs though
Outis never fricking ever
And when she does come, her video will get the least attention since we're getting less and less views on these things now. Ryoshu hasn't even hit 100k in two weeks when the others before her hit that before the sinner after them went up. Unfortunate.
I don't care, I'm saving all my money and rolling for all Outis skin on release
Such is the truth of diminishing returns.
Can't do the same 12 times in a row and hope for the same turnout every time.
Both the video on monteization and the J3 event will give us a spike in breboarders, but I don't think much else will outside of an actual playable demo.
maybe hong lu will get lots of views because of the chinks
his poster was the most popular one out of the sinners besides dante iirc
fricking forgot to add my sentence like a moron
so how much will they show at the gameshow?
We don't know. We just know it'll be showcased.
>so how much will they show at the gameshow?
They announced that they'll set up a booth where people can play either a standard fight or an abnormality battle.
You get a punchcard you can stamp when you win either.
If you collect 2-3 stamps I believed it was, then you get PM merch.
long hair is such a downgrade every fricking time
God I love long haired Don.
>short hair Rodion
I CAN';T TAKE IT
I MUST FRICK HER
Long haired Don is an angel.
LONG HAIR DON LONG HAIR DON LONG HAIR DON
Couldn't find anything online so i'm asking here, so i'm at 42 and hokma is at level 2, can i finish his department and meltdown before getting locked into the final days thing or am i stuck here
Nope. You had to alternate between them so you could do one meltdown before 46, then mem repo to fully unlock the other and do that one without having to go back to day 1.
You've already fully unlocked Binah, so you're fricked. You have to start from day 1 to get Hokma.
Bro i was so hyped up after finally blasting my whay thorugh Binah/Geburah this fricking blowswlf. thanks tho
Yea, it’s dumb as frick if you’re going in blind (which you should be anyway)
Same thing happened to me
You need full abnormality encyclopedia if you want the true ending anyway, which you won't get in one playthrough unless you memrepo like crazy already, so that's the least of your worries
What the frick is that
Bros, did we make it?
I don't get it
Popular aussie game reviewer who's been going at it for more than 10 years mentioned LoR in his latest vid.
send shit to house
jihad on anyone tarnishing the schizo haven
what even is this
No because the whole segment is the dude talking about not understanding card based games, since to him, the idea is that cards were used to visualize what you're using to fight each other with, but these days you can have them move real time, so card based stuff is unneeded, he wasn't even talking about Library of Ruina in particular, he was talking in general.
Plus, the fact he used Library as an example of that, when you can see the effects the cards have when used just shows he has no idea what goes on in the game.
Did we break 130k yet? Let's hope TGS gets us there.
We'll hit 130k way before TGS, we're only about a thousand away from it right now. We'll probably hit at at the end of this week or early next week.
TGS may be what gets us to Yi Sang though.
Looked into what the actual numbers are after
We're exactly 1k away from the 130k goal (78.3k youtube + 50.7k twitter = 129k), Hong Lu's video will probably push us over.
PM needs to advertise more
They may start doing some ads when closer to the release date right?
The character promos show up as ads already.
The wave has to come before the game actually comes out since these are preregistration rewards. Advertisements will help for sure, though there's not a lot of time to get more than double the numbers we currently need to get to Ryoshu.
They will need to, especially in regards to server. Number one reason for games being fricked at the start is the server being overloaded.
>unless something huge happens after TGS
you mean like the game actually releasing ? there'll be a wave of advertisement at that point and it'll be more likely to catch people's attention since it's something they can actually look forward to
Based opinion
I'm gonna go take a walk on the beach with my gun now
cute
call me a schizo but don't speed dice have multiple possible broken sprites?
Does anyone know what's the significance of Hong Lu's eye in the original story?
>implying anyone here actually read it
I might do so after I'm done with all the other books + BS required reading, but I'm not sure I'll make it in time before the game's release
There is literally one person who has read Dream of the Red Chamber here and I am pretty sure he killed himself when he saw "Google Play Winter 2022"
I read the original Chinese version back when it came out
oh man, this thread has been here for a month.
Just dont lose
How do you expect Sephirahs/Head Librarians to return? You know they will.
Exporing outskirts, ruins and lands beyond in Lobocorp 2Library 2.
I don't expect (or want) them to return in Limbus outside of "general mentions".
they won't, outside of maybe a small sidestory event
they're barely people anymore and just archetypes that are part of angela's ego.
Headcannon. By that logic Roland is also not a person either since his body got modified near the start, and it's all Angela controlling him.
Where in the game does it ever say this
If anything their bodies are from the light, and they aren’t bound to the library considering geb is in the outskirts
>game about delving the ruins of LC branches
>Lobcorp HQ is the logical endgame
>guess where Lobcorp HQ is right now
I'd honestly be shocked if the Sephira and Library didn't make an appearance somehow.
what are the odds that their monetization is a bit better than the average gacha ?
Hard to say, but if it sucks, PM is historically prone to bowing to negative pressure and changing shit. If it's god awful, the community will definitely let them know.
>monetization is shitty
>game is shitty
>monetization is good
>game barely makes any profit, sinks and maybe even takes PM down with it
I have a hard time being optimistic when it comes to gacha
You can be generous, or at least give more than the average does, and still make a profit you know? GT does it, and still earns a decent amount of money, despite you easily being able to just work off what you get for free.
Why you gotta be a negative nancy, seeing everything in black and white?
As long as the core gameplay and story are good enough, people (at least the ones willing to play mobile) will generally put up with most monetization schemes. Counterside SEA, for example, debuted with practically 0 advertising but it managed to start strong enough. The main stumbling block it had that I think will be the make or break for this game too is if they can create a good enough endgame to keep player retention at a high enough level.
congratulations, you have been fully brainwashed by westoid gacha horror stories
I've shilled the games to my weeb friends last week. Are YOU doing your part?
I have no friends.
I have been shilling LoR since release but my friends are lazy c**ts
I'm shilling LoR and LC calm down.
My friends also need to do the required readings.
I've been posting the trailers and LC/LoR memes wherever I can.
I gifted LC with LoR few of my friends and now waitin'.
A lot of my friends are super casual and would hate the games unfortunately. I don't really have friends with extreme autism that are comparable to you guys.
>Try out a game called "Alter ego" with a librarian girl an anon mentioned

What happened to the manga?
Artist got burnt out or something so now they're continuing by themselves. There's a statement on Project Moon's Twitter I think
