this is the only respectably opposition to Windows 10. If you were still using Windows 7 you'd be mentally ill.

The main issue is that they keep dumbing everything down to appeal to their mongrel userbase. If you work with this shit professionally it keeps becoming more annoying when configuring stuff. You're gonna get spied on either way though

Linux is absolutely not "hard" but it does require tinkering to get a lot of games to work. That is why windowsbabbies (former consolebabbies) who can't remember old windows, can't handle it and call it shit.

There's no "tinkering" involved. It's applying stupid workarounds to get a "playable" experience that is simply inferior to Windows and hoping proton / WINE provides a fix in the future.

            HAHAHAHAHAHA
Every modern Doom engine except for Bethesda's piece-of-shit Unity port runs natively on Linux as well as on Windows, and if you want to play vanilla, DOSBox is native to Linux as well. The best way to play the original Blood is with one of the engine reimplementations which also run natively on Linux; I use Raze. No, I didn't say Fresh Supply and it's not the original version, but that remake can also work with Proton if you really want to use it. Max Payne works with Proton 5. Brigador runs natively on Linux. I don't really expect you to do any research when it ruins your cope like this, so I can't say I'm surprised, but holy shit lol. I simply wouldn't be using Linux if my personal favorite games worked any better on Windows. Eat my balls

Linux: opens GIMP instantly, draw and make pictures with no time waste. Not really about speed, just about no wasting of precious seconds and minutes of your time.
Windows: takes Windows several seconds just to realize you executed an executable. Opens to a very long and drawn out loading screen for GIMP as a loading bar opens and begins to move across the screen. It finally opens! More loading as GIMP is still putting in buttons and tools. More loading, ok now it open, enjoy.

Linux: opens video files instantly. Try to scrub to different parts of the video and it does so instantly at first but eventually crashes.
Windows: opens video files slowly. Try to scrub to different parts of the video and it always does so because the clunkiness protects the HDD/OS from crashing itself.

Why do you insist on being a moron? You read my screenshot, saw it only takes a picture of the window despite me specifically explaining how to get a screenshot of the desktop.

If you can't click your desktop first, that means whatever you're screenshotting is already full screen. Do some basic thinking and listen to people who know what they're talking about, and I guarantee you'll be smarter every day.

so alt+printscreen literally works in a video game.... you literally don't even need to do more than just ALT+PrintScreen Your point is?

Actually their solutions are worse because they want to complicatedly press key combos and touch the desktop and random arbitrary speedrunner idolatrous fsggoty solutions.

Anon said he wanted to screencap a game at fullscreen. That's literally just alt+printscreen. The desktop click is only if you want to screenshot your desktop and all the windows on it, but apparently that's not the case. Not only does this functionality exist in linux, it also exists in windows too.

Yeah the fricking solution is to just print screen in windows, and go into gimp and invert the selection and crop to the screen you wanted to get rid of the desktop taken from the dual monitor, chud. I already gave this solution, none of your solutions are any better.

I remember when I bought into the dual video cards marketing. It was actually a good idea though if we had thought of plugging a second monitor into the other video card, but vicious game companies and nit coin miners decided to rear end people’s computers, or hack their computer to try and make money faster instead of waiting for technology to grow naturally. They don’t care about rules.

You're only looking at games that have native Linux builds, eg. the devs themselves explicitly support Linux.
Check your library at protondb instead to see what works whether or not the devs actually care.
