Yeah thats what I meant. I used their edge version too with the newer kernal. Maybe I just need to go into the updater and use the most recent one that I can get. I could have sworn it was the same as my buntu one.
It's basically the skyrim modding experience
You frick around for 10 days to set up a game and then you play for like an hour before realizing it's shit
>use buntu flavor >use mint >just werks
Its easier than ever to game on linecucks. Small learning curve but no different than when your moronic ass was figuring out how windows works.
i guess if your internet is good enough, but id rather use Geforce NOW (or maybe even shadow if i wanted to splurge alot) to play the PC versions of games (for about 15$ a month you get a 3080 PC, though you need to either use something like waydroid or windows for 120hz afaik)
An older Freeware game I really liked, Knytt Stories, now has an Open Source port that run on multiple platforms, including Linux. I'm really happy about that.

I'm a little disappointed that Linux OpenNox didn't work either through Snap or the release version on github. the Windows version did run through WINE, however, so it's fine. the game itself is like a pleasant mix of Fable and if Diablo didn't suck complete ass.
I've been rocking games on Linux since February as I am trying to completely leave Windows behind. So far so good. Only game that gave me trouble so far was Skyrim HD Edition. Very Choppy and shit.
Any of you guys use GOG? Does it have Linux support? Do you go through Lutris for it?
i played open terminal and search through 8 pages of an obscure forum for a get command that no longer functions to play a game that ran on hardware from 30+ years ago
Pinguino!
i love linux
would using a 32bit prefix helpt with old games compatibility?
I just want VRR/G-SYNC support in Wayland, bros.

I wish anti Linux FUD posters actually pretended to know how Linux works before posting.
The more I learn about Linux, the more I hate it tbqh.
