Why don't they add an additional diagonal arrow after the first right arrow so people can just press the down arrow instantly without having to release the button/joystick?
Also just play Paul and hold back 1, 2 (if enemy is going for fast moves), 2, 1 (if opponent is crouching), demolition man. + Tackle with down 1+2 to piss off spammers if those moves are still in kekken 8.

Literally impossible on pad.
Sounds like beginner issues.
That star icon is so fricking dumb no one is gonna know what that means.
agreed though at least Kekken from 7 has had a way to look what the move does in training mode so you can learn from context instead of guess working, also pic related.
>HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?
I swear to god anon, you write your shitty posts on something that you can type "tekken star wat do" into and it will tell you exactly what it does
you can type that into YouTube and some friendly guy will even explain out loud what it does!
before any of this shit, the game came with a manual
There's the same difference between a ball player that played when he was 9 years old taking it seriously vs someone who just recently started.
Logic related to the sport is drilled into the 9 year old and they are able to run laps around you during a match while you are gassing out and gasping for air, that's difference between life long player of video games and someone new to the genre.
Tekken has never been honest or about skill. It's arbitrary knowledge check: the series. That's not to say SF or anything else is much better, but they do take skill
> Knowledge is half the battle. > Its not about skill. > Experienced pros can juggle you for a multi hit combo and watch you die after a second combo gets hit whilst you are on the ground.
Yeah there's skills involved but its a very dishonest game and one of the reasons I love the series, plus I don't like the new SF at all, tried the demo, it doesn't feel like street fighter, except if it was made to sell to Smash Bros players.
Learning tekken 7 was so fun until I got to the intermediate stages and I started having to spend more time labbing my opponents characters than my own character.
should not be frame perfect. smash got it right. there is no value in artificial difficulty and it doesn't serve any balance purpose when pros do it 100% of the time. why does it require hundreds of hours of practice even when you know how it works? why does it require a special controller to make it consistent? I'm not buying any extra shit just for one stupid video game ruined by moronic boomer jap insect people who can't adapt to modern conventions.
EVERYONE defending this trash is doing it due to sunk cost fallacy. you think you've earned it but all you've done is waste your life and body grinding one move for ten years. there is no argument that holds water why a beginner with less than 10 hours shouldn't be doing perfect electrics at a 100% consistency on an analog stick.
>hopped into SF4 training mode for the first time in forever >back to getting double inbuki tsumugi loops consistently in like 5 minutes
God I hope that rollback mod gets finished soon.
What does the star icon stands for?
Neutral A.K.A. nothing.

"finger off the pad."

it's easier on pad than any other device though
No way gay
if you can't do it with crutches then i feel sorry for you
what even are the crutches? it's way easier with kb+m
it's much easier to do on dpad repeatedly, otherwise it's no different than hitbox or keyboard
No the hell it isn't. I can't do that shit at all on controller. I can't hit them in a row on keyboard with barely any practice time.
>what is practice
as with languages, your hands and fingers improve with repetition
It's easier on hitbox/keyboard because you just slam your hands down at the same time
It's easier on sanwa stick, and I've used them all, pad/jap stick/korean stick/keyboard
Sanwa sticks? How about all sanwa hitbox, would probably pay $200 for a quality PC controller using those.
why sanwa buttons over qanba buttons?
That star icon is so fricking dumb no one is gonna know what that means.
Someone just told you, gaylord.

can't you use simple mode to do this with one button>
my 11 years old self could do this easily m8
> My 11 year old self.
Yeah but not everyone started gaming when they were out of their mother's womb grasping a controller and playing the shit out of fighters.
Its more difficult to pick up new things when you age but its not that difficult when someone shows you how to.
Lmao

Kek, it's piss easy on pad and there are tons of pad Mishima players
Meanwhile
Ok but seriously how do you do it. I am always 1f off. This is my pad btw.
watch for the step tilt thumb from down to down forward hold, press triangle.
I get like 1/10 electrics...
Practice till you get better with the rhythm. Its usually your face button hand that's lagging behind.
help pls
My man, I just bought this controller and can do 3-4 in a row without dropping
gg scrub
How? Did you tweak the settings?
dorya

VF6 fricking when
Never the team doesn't want free money.
> When you just want to watch the world burn.
a game with unseeable low pokes is never going to be considered honest.
Skill issue.
i'm not saying thats a bad thing, i'm just saying tekken is a game for fricked up people with fricked up minds like myself
> There's always down forward when you "feel" that your opponent will spam lows.
Low pokes were like that because there's no chip damage. But now there's chip damage so you're just getting fricked in the butthole
i never understood why people jerk this shit off so much, it's fricking easy, and no even in matches it's fricking easy.
Its only difficult to pull off if you get laggy connection to your opponent, since qcf etc inputs will be eaten by moronic lag.
It's just a dragon punch input.

If you cry about frame perfect just means you are not skilled. Face it zoomie.
Found the shitter filtered by 1 frame links in SF4
>hopped into SF4 training mode for the first time in forever
>back to getting double inbuki tsumugi loops consistently in like 5 minutes
God I hope that rollback mod gets finished soon.
EWGF is probably the one of the easiest instances of a non bufferable one frame input
EWGF is the best move in the game
It's a +ob i13 launcher with frick all whiff recovery and a huge hitbox
There should be at least something (like an execution barrier) to stop people from just using it mindlessly
Other characters also have frame perfect moves.
There is worst shit to master in this game, like breaking throws and sidestepping without getting hit.
It's not frame perfect though. EWGF has 3 frame leniency. PEWGF is the one that's 1 frame.
the anon is clearly talking about the 1 frame one my little autist
>tfw you do a double EWGF for the first time
I am ready to win evo
> Gets low spammed.
> Gets spammed.
> Gets bodied 3-0 first match.
You aren't.
You're a cute
It's pretty easy on the pad. DualShock 4 is great for tekken.
>ds4 does work with 8 on PS5
bros...
*doesn't
Dualshock is shit, you guys have moronic taste.
Skill issue Black person. DualShock 4 is great.
No its not, the dpad is gay as frick. I don't like having gaps in my dpad for the diagonal positions.
It is.
>b-b-but I s-suck and my personal preference
homosexual.
I don't suck, what part of it comes down to preference you don't get? I don't like touching the gamepad itself, it just feels gross.
Now here's a REAL star input
guys help, i like playing reina but i'm also a contrarian homosexual who can't play popular characters, what do i do
Please give me tips, I got the input down but it's always inconsistent. I usually get WGF.
skill issue

>don't stream
I'm so evil

Is Jin the "I want to main a Mishima but I can't do electrics consistently" character?
Because that's why I main him instead of Kazuya
Yes. Though Reina exist.
I tried Reina but I'm just not feeling it. Somehow I can deal with Jin's zen bullshit but not Reina's stances.
Jin is the main character of this game so hes top tier
>that one "once per player" cheese you have that you save to steal the game
everyone has this right
raven's heat smash is that.
HELLFIRE
I wonder how many of those 10 million couldn't do it
no controller has a star button
Mine does
STARt
Checkmate, loser.
Works on my machine.

Why is Ganker full of bots that repost the same thread over and over
bot site
>newbie finds his first ritual poster
>two threads made in a week apart
silly anon
>trying a new character
>get matched against my main
>read him like an open fricking book
he was literally reduced to just standing there confused
holy shit you have the gene. now try each character on the roster.
knee better watch out, here comes shoulder
>can read my ghost like an open book
Is this a good or a bad thing?
