Lol I played the test beta thing when it popped up before release and had 0 issues and was planning to play it.
On release I just got this constant laggin and fps drops that made the game unplayable.

Look at the chart, doesn't look like any other game when dips. Would be surprised if Lost Ark had more then 50k actual players.
At least 3/4 are bots. I think the max concurrent players is mostly 50k, probably below. But the game is literally impossible to get into for new players, so that number can only decrease.

The gamepad support is terrible and the whole game seems like a massive grind with very little payoff. I gave it a shot but it was an awful experience.

I honestly liked this game until T3 but once you start having multiple alts it just becomes a chore and once you have most of the things from horizontal content there isn't much exciting stuff to do. Once you do your weekly content there isn't anything left to do on your main, once you unlock the most needed stuff from horizontal progression the other stuff is an insane grindfest for crumbs, the professions suck, world events are also boring once you do them a few times, the world feels claustrophobic and the game plays like a singleplayer game most of the time.

i've been enjoying the game a lot, but i wish the end game had better loot progression. being stuck with one or two armor sets for an entire tier until you start getting cosmetics feels kinda shitty coming from games with more thorough transmog. i don't really enjoy all the puzzles in some of the higher level content either, i didn't download an ARPG to solve timed puzzles that will wipe the whole party if one member answers incorrectly. that said the gameplay is still fun as frick and i look forward to leveling the new sword girl when she drops.

played from day one to the last day of May. 900 something hours, it was fun but after killing valtan for the first time I realized the thrill was gone and quit. Soloing Velganos was the most fun I had on the game.
Valtan is unironically the best and funniest raid. The following ones are full of puzzle bullshit and party wipes.
This. Vykas is such a terrible raid. What a disappointment. What were they thinking? Did they make it worse on purpose to frick over busses?
Stopped playing before vykas came out. Last 2 fights just seem gimicky as frick.
Really don't want to play anything other than a sexy girl with a huge fricking hammer/sword. Really dissapointed that the only class like that is genderlocked, going to play as soon as they make a female version.
Lost Ark is the definition of soulless. Booting it up is like walking into a casino.
It does some good things and have a good combat system, but in the end Koreans are gonna Korean, these frickers just don't have the same definition of fun. That's no wonder all their "games" end up like a having a second job.
