Nah, it had the coolest story of the 7 standard chapters, and the minigame is there for your combat fix

Pretty well I'd say. Some tracks seem more redone than others, and some are petty faithful. A couple get extensions that weren't there in the original, and all use pretty appropriate instrumentation for the corresponding chapter.

Depends on your run, I think full kills is probably still pretty asinine, but with the way the enemies in the overworld work now I think it's easier to dodge them in a 0 Kills run, and a lot of the castle's layout was rearranged pretty thoroughly, like the moat.

Amazed, personally. Even if some people have issues with the translation (not my case at least), the remake itself clearly has a decent chunk of effort put into it, at least the actual "game" is really well made.

I'd say yes, if only for some of the added gameplay stuff. Things like the visible action bars for both you and the enemy, the radar helping out with some of the chapters it's easier to get lost in like Mecha, the new minigame in Caveman for free items, a lot of little details that make it better to play through I feel.

I kind of hate the new soundtracks. Just compare these 2 and it feels like a lot of the intensity was yanked out.
The kung fu one was equally butchered, and I also think a lot of the atmosphere of Akira's tale was stolen with the new instruments.

I am on your side anon, but you cannot simply wish for things to be different or act as if they already are. We have to first identify the disease and the cancer and remove the tumor for women to actually be free.
To be clear I'm not stating this is a problem with the women themselves genetically or biologically speaking. Being a man or woman or a member of a certain race exposes you to a different environment of social factors and cultural inheritance that changes the conditions of development and day to day survival. A single mother struggles to attain status and stability in a society that's corrupted by an ancient patriarchal inheritance and is targeted by men of low status and poor character unless she can raise her standing enough to compensate, which is automatically a greater burden if one has to care for a child as well. On the contrary a man with a child is only seen as more desirable by the majority of women, because his ability to provide emotionally and financially is demonstrated.
Being a man or a woman or any particular race obviously isn't as big a factor as simply being poor or wealthy, educated or ignorant, but the factors are still there. Until the curse of the ancient dictators and philosophers is purified from our circumstances this will always be so, it will always be a handicap to be female in a world that is built upon men contesting and disgracing one another.

Remake looks like it made the cowboy and wrestler chapters too easy. Also near future was the worst chapter not the ninja.
Wrestler chapter was always piss easy as long as you abuse the move that turns around the opponent. Cowboy chapter was pretty easy too if you knew what ypu were doing and set all of the traps.
Yeah but they made it even easier I think. When I played the original version his self heal only healed for like 30-40 but I was seeing it heal for almost 100 for some streamer. It also looks like they made it more likely for the lucha guy to use his learnable moves instead of just using bite over and over. I'd count that as a positive change though.
