>specialized critics say that Starfield is a masterpiece and the Game of The Generation >goy cattle that consumes FIFA and COD think that Starfield is boring and too complex
Gaming is dead, and you killed it.
the more i look at this list, the more I wonder, who the frick are the majority of these names? Holy kek did Microsoft try to cover up the actual reviews? I hesitate to give gaming journos this much credit to begin with
I hurt myself... today
to see if it still just works
try to see if starfield hit top selling today
just more bad reviews from jerks...
what have i become?
my empire of dust
i will let our fans down
i will make you
This happened because of fanbases, and that those sites exist to give readers what they want instead of what they need. A game review is not an accurate review of a product, it's content for readers.
This can't be real
it just can't
No game truly deserves perfect scores, ever, yet this game getting perfect scores all around besides a few just can't be true.
no, but the contrast to real player reviews is insane and they're not even trying to be belivable.
I know journos are paid opinions, but even they usually try to be taken seriously by not going perfect score
how long until steam's reviews become ~~*trusted reviewers*~~ only?
I'm sure at some point they've already discussed what excuses they can use to do it..
I'm sure if/when it happens, they'll blame "coordinated review bombing" or trolls.
and he had a complete meltdown when people called him out for once again doing paid review shit
but her, cant get that exclusive 1 month early access so he can post the reviews weeks before game comes out without doing some "sponsored content"
that homosexual is definition of journalist cancer, dosnt even say which reviews are sponsored and which arent, but youtube will make sure to shill him in teh algorithm
keep downvoting boys so it gets the same treatment as other slop games so i can buy it for 10 bucks in a sale 6 months from now on
im a sucker for bethslop, i have 1k hours in fo76 after all
I'm playing it right now and yeah. In some ways it's the opposite of what Bethesda usually does. This time there aren't a lot of bugs, the models and textures all actually look good as does the lighting, the facial animations of characters are a cut above Fallout 4, the gunplay is about as good as you can make it in the terrible engine.
Problem is that this time the core is rotten. Even though Skyrim plays like shit and is extremely repetitive, you still had that Jeremy Soule soundtrack hitting the right spots as you look into the distance during a dawn and you think "yeah this is what Skyrim's all about" - Starfield has none of this. It's polished but it never grabs you. It's just there and even after 30h I don't care about it, it's like the videogame equivalent of the color beige.
The parts that were good in the past games (handcrafted environments, good music, appealing atmosphere and tone of the game, good blend of danger and fantasy, fun landscapes) is completely shit in Starfield. Everything being separated by loading screens with no real overworld was a massive mistake. The game gives you a similar "feeling" that you'd get from watching an out of touch corporation's advertisements for a space program. All the companions and characters are vanilla and boring, FO4 companions like Piper or Nick Valentine mog all of these astronaut wannabees.
It's not nearly as bad as everyone says, I'd still give it a 6/10. But that's so far below what it should've been. And half the random npcs look like unholy chimeras of many ethnicities and actually make a compelling argument against racemixing. The future has never been so ugly.
I identified 4 brazilian publications. I imagined my fellow turd worlders can do the same. Bethesda literally picked shitty, highly derivative, lowest common denominator publications to pretend their shit game is worth anything lol.
The most shameless part is realizing they likely did this specifically just to maximize that opening week sales, cuz they sure as hell can't recoup over a month when everyone realizes how inferior it is to old stuff.
I truly pity the fools that still believe in Bethesda.
Best game of the decade.
Snoys seething in the comments and reviewbombinb steam cant change this fact.
Todd has done it again. You will buy it 5 times.
this is Ganker, people are just puppets dancing under the journalists thumbs arguing about how their game is better thanks to reviews instead of playing things themselves.
insane how casual this board is.
95% or Ganker (maybe even more) only know, play and talk about big AAA slops or FOTM.
every attempt at having non AAA garbage thread is flooded by >SHILL SHILL SHILL >BUY AN AD
this is Ganker, people are just puppets dancing under the journalists thumbs arguing about how their game is better thanks to reviews instead of playing things themselves.
meh all this shitflinging is way overblown
it's just another bethesda game, great for a while until you get sick of it and it gets that weird aftertaste. They always feel empty and shit once you reach that point, because their appeal is to feel gigantic, and once you've seen it all, the illusion is over and you notice how shallow it is. Starfield didn't last as long as Skyrim but longer than FO4 for me, which is better than I expected. The game's flaws are real but every game of their was fricked horribly in some way, like Oblivion's level scaling wrecked that game.
The real question is how their games got so popular in the first place instead of being a niche thing. Maybe it was just the open world, but I think Ubislop has perfected the soulless open world formula so that free ride is over. Normalgays don't care if every npc has their own schedule or if a cup you set down is still there when you come back. Maybe they'll have to cope with being more niche now? Or maybe it doesn't matter and they'll just milk it with dlc until the e celebs call it good again.

First time seeing Triple A game journo reviews?
no, but the contrast to real player reviews is insane and they're not even trying to be belivable.

Bethesda exist to make franchises, Starfield being hated is a disaster for Bethesda.
lmao.

By 2030 everything is going to be experts only
Now that the dust has settled, was starfield a masterpiece or simply a watershed moment in gaming?
Starfield > FFXVI
100% Phenomenal

It's a good game and everyone knows it. You're all just a bunch of trend-followers and whiners that think if you complain people will like you.
> This is it. This is the worst game ever made!
The absolute state of idiots.
keep downvoting boys so it gets the same treatment as other slop games so i can buy it for 10 bucks in a sale 6 months from now on

Honestly, at least the 10s were from reviewers I recognized.
Who tf is "Showmetech" "Attack of the fanboy" and "Game Surf"?

Never fails to make me laugh
Wasn't it proven some of those reviews are wrong if you check the actual review?
>number/number
>literally who
>this actually sways people's opinions
yeah, rip
I identified 4 brazilian publications. I imagined my fellow turd worlders can do the same. Bethesda literally picked shitty, highly derivative, lowest common denominator publications to pretend their shit game is worth anything lol.

who comes up with this shit
even numbers are better

The good thing about Starfield flopping is that surely they will work even harder to get everything right about ES6, right? kek
Best game of the decade.

Microsoft didn't pay AJ for a 10/10 review?
>mom said its my turn to win awards
im sorry, starfieldbros, i had to… love the game though
why the frick do people care about obvious paid reviews?
if the game is made by big corporation = reviews are 100% paid. fax. no debate.
Paid review is ok in 2024 if you are a big company who promote vax and genetic modified mosquitoes.
