Nah, Anniversary is a pain in the ass. The Lost Chapters is still the perfect version, feels nice to play and you can mod it. Anniversary feels fricking awful and the modding scene is dead because modding was made hard, even with a controller it feels like shit and even with a mouse&keyboard the menus fricking suck it's insane.

No mouse support in the menus for starters. I immediately uninstalled my pirated copy when I fricking saw there was no mouse on the fricking main menu.
Pretty sure the dev team consisted of inexperienced interns creating a graphic update on an existing game. I preordered it and on release it literally didn't even run for me, just kept crashing instantly, and they still denied my refund request. So frick them and valve.
Wish they would've done a pc port of 2. If they updated the UI it would play a lot better, trying to eat or drink anything in that game takes fricking ages.
Fable is such a weird series, probably DUE to Molyneux's delusions was the only reason they randomly hit the mark with 2 after a successful income from 1. 1's not bad, but 2 polishes off a lot of the jank and perfects the humor. 2 is probably a timeless game with the simplicity of combat and moral decisions, but the fun and meatiness of going from zero to hero with goofy sidequests and characters.
