Art direction is what brings the game's atmosphere together, Hifi rush was visually pleasing but nothing that will truly immerse you into its world, and honestly alot of the levels are generic 2000s action platformer like R&C or J&D, Alan Wake 2 bring something new to the table

cell shading is nothing new. The way Alan Wake mixed real recordings into the game seamlessly was pretty impressive and visually interesting.
