Undertale was unironically pretty good at the time, great music and pretty unique spin on things if you go in blind it was pretty memorable.
Hades is overrated normalgay slop and like, a 3/10 roguelike all things considered, celeb VA and good art is enough to get it 10/10 normalgay attention I guess, boring as frick in reality, curse of the dead gods is a better hades than hades and even thats a 6/10.

It's really boring - it has some atmosphere, cool looking rooms etc. but you just now that it's just "collect 50 eggs, then collect 20 EXTRA HIDDEN OBJECTS" and then "wow, did you notice that if you go inside the room 10 times and jump 100 times on some platform, the secret door opens? Wooooow".
The dev saying "the game has le multiple layers and le puzzles which would take YEARS to solve" absolutely ruins any mystery the game could have had (like Fez and The Witness having more to them that what's on the surface, but the devs didn't spell it out explicitly).

Beat it. It's short but fun enough. Still getting all the eggs and secrets. Not a bad pick dunkey. Metroidvanias are safe bets.
