There were like six different indicators in the early screens, which all got either streamlined into something simpler or were just cut entirely. Probably because this much survival micromanagement looks like a fun idea on paper but in practice made the game excessively more tedious to play.
Game was fine, just fine
You could tell they had a good concept in mind but there was a lot of cut content and some people that weren't just skilled enough to make something better. Really flawed but not in a sloppy way, it's hard to describe.
I heard of a mod like that but never seen anything concrete
the abyss itself is what makes the game. Would recommend getting the pc version so you can up the anime OST in if you watched the show. Other quality of life mods are good too if the game is too hard for you or can't abide the idea that you fricked up on travel prep and now are stuck in the abyss with no choice but reload your save file and waste the last hour you just spent
I would buy the game, but honestly it looks bad it reminds me of the land before time game and I honestly expect a similar level of jank, honestly 99% of anime adaption games are shit and I still at some point need to force myself to play the Little Witch Academia game for more than 30 mins straight.
It's okay. Quite difficult but does a decent job of emulating the abyss, and specifically the life of someone who delves for a living.
It's rough around the edges but definitely has the soul of a passionate game made by inspired people.
It's just extremely mediocre by today's standards.
If it was released during the GameCube era it'd probably be considered a must-have game with a cult following past it's lifespan.
well before release some dude sent me a very early build of this shit and only now did i boot it up.
its definitely ar from finished. that wall is literally just a placeholder
if youre curious how unfinished im talking >placeholder UE4 default project assets for the xmb >title id definitely the placeholder UE4 title id >first boot brings you to this
never played it so i have no frickin idea what im doing
it's shit, it's mindboggling badly designed, it's massively wasted potential but yet it's so good, I don't know how to explain it but the game made me feel things I have not felt from a game in a long time. >being lost and making your way up from the fourth layer >entering the the fifth layer for the first time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZA8rGdhwOY
I wouldn't call it shit. It's clunky sure but the core gameplay loop is absolutely fine. Music is great, the sense of exploring the Abyss is there. It's a soulful junk.
Pedo shit.
I find funny that most people here played the game to see the girl's death scenes than to actually reach the end of the game.
Shovelware
why are there so many cute shotas in the series holy frick
Frotting with Marulk's girlwiener!
That image is too godly
PLAP PLAP PLAP
Riko sexo
A 5/10 that had potential to be a solid 7/10 if it had polished it's content and didn't drop the ball in the last 2 floors of the game.
I have not follow this game. Did they remove the pee indicator after all?

Decent ideas, poor execution and just poor gameplay overall, but I still had fun with it.
Should I get the game now that it is on sale?
Is there any "interesting" mods?

I got to the second layer and then got distracted by other things. I was having fun up to that point though. I want to finish it eventually.
6/10core, but decently fun
I DIDN'T LIKE IT

Good game for MiA fan, bad game for everyone else.
Honestly, if you want the Made in Abyss experience, just play Noita.

It's sad all those ideas weren't fully realised. More focus on survival would've been cool.

I want to live in a timeline where we get a sequel or dlc that adds more layers, quests and npcs
it's shit, it's mindboggling badly designed, it's massively wasted potential but yet it's so good, I don't know how to explain it but the game made me feel things I have not felt from a game in a long time.

in other words, shit but GOTY.

>soulful junk
So how does it compare to S.T.A.L.K.E.R?
Spike needs to fund the sequel. I bet a pizza and a can of chips is enough to do it.
I imagine it's like having a girlfriend that honestly loves you but her cooking skills are fricking terrible and you just have to live with the fact
Beat it 100% waiting for a sequel
It has PS2 jank soul 8/10 for cut content likely due to time crunch
Any mods to make it better?
