My dad had a keyboard when I was a kid that had never gonna give you up and together forever as programmed tracks and it wasn't until much later that I heard them for real. Always kinda liked him afterwards. Glad he embraced being a meme, seems like a cool dude.
because what you're witnessing currently is humans becoming dumber and dumber and the system is designed so it never gets better because if it did the opposite people would be smart enough to do more than work the cash register and realize their higher up is fricking them
you can call me whatever you want doesn't change it's right
this is what has been going on for millenniums
knowledge is destroyed for the sake of power
People becoming dumber and dumber is mostly a generational issue caused by access to the internet and ADHD inducing lifestyle aka not using their brains
Can't adapt being stuck on a dead planet or in space or whatever the frick is going to happen to Earth in a billion years.
Or maybe you'll be stuck in your dead body. If some Djinn would offer me immortality, I'd tell it to go frick itself

Dunno man, just compare what we are doing nowadays to generations ago.
We have access to a shitload of knowledge. Of course it's possible that we lose that knowledge and our prosperity but saying that society is getting dumb is just disingenuous.
The rigged system is nothing new either, that's what the ruling class always does and always has been doing. Rile people up against each other so they won't strike at the classes above
Death sucks and letting go is hard. But it doesn't discriminate. While our joys will end, death will take our sorrows with them. Ultimately, death allows new things to grow in their place. Trees will die, yet the seeds they leave behind aren't scarred by axes or fires.
>My wife Lene and I shot this video on a phone in Denmark, in a forest beside a beautiful beach. The song in essence is about how there is so much technology out there pulling and pushing us in our daily lives, that we need to remain human in this fast moving world. The idea of making a video simply, somewhere beautiful and real like this resonates with me, and I hope it does with you too! Rick x

Aging is fricked up and dying is a shame
but being immortal is a curse
why does it have to be this way?
>but being immortal is a curse
Mortal cope
you say that but the older you get the more you realize the truth
and it ain't pretty
>being immortal is a curse
How? That's a brainlet take, humans can adapt to pretty much anything and thrive
think of the degradation you seen
now imagine that on a scale way worse and seeing a never ending repeat of that
>source: uhhh I think that's what'll happen ig
Why would that happen exactly?

ok? I'd still take immortality and rope myself if I ever got tired of living

At that point you just go crazy and then it's not a problem anymore
>but being immortal is a curse
How do I acquire curse?
Immortality but with the belief that one day it will end but it actually never does

200 years of being 0-40 but childhood is maybe done over 30 years would be ideal lifespan
>but being immortal is a curse
I'd normally report for off-topic shit but I'd honestly rather see this shitty song than the discord raid going on right now.
Oh come on, it's not bad. The song.
I'm laughing because he sounds like a grizzled black soul singer
I was not expecting that kind of voice to come out of him god damn
>he still has it
Rick has no biological children
I'd never really listened to any of his other music but goddamn he's got a great voice
>expect forced cringe
>forced to acknowledge my own mortality instead
He is aging like fine Chilean wine.
Great song, but wtf was that video?

peak soul
no record labels, no Hollywood studios
just a dude, his wife, and his phone, making music videos
music is healing
True.
he says in a comment he shot it on a phone with his wife. probably should have hired a cinematographer.
>that voice
what the frick
>protagonist gets treated like an unwanted child, because he's a white male
Many such cases.
I personally like Together Forever out of his catalogue.
Based old man still making music that isn't dogshit like the shit thats occupied the radio for years.
why does his hairline look so weird? hair transplant? wig?
I swear for the longest time I thought he was black.
>Rick Astley married a 10/10 Stacy
>isn't gay
Yo wtf
that woman looks like an ugly post wall 5/10 lmao
