anyone who said “le zoomers ruined this!!” is a newbie because only newbies use -oomer terms but they’re also totally right. no one has any of the perspective necessary to actually understand that shit, all they do is slap a fricking vhs filter on ugly unity polygons and call it a day and the problem has only gotten way, WAY worse as media has declined into nothingness and everything becomes a retro throwback because there’s no interesting way to creatively build off of modern games/cartoons. Stimp has always been the gold standard on how to do that, imo, the Nikolas Fedorov shorts were untouchable
