All gen 1-4 starters are flawless. Meganium may be a weak link but it's still great compared to gen 5+ monstrosities. Then after gen 4 we're lucky to get one good starter per gen.

Starters should look like either. Sucks having a Male Popplio and getting a Male Primarina.
But if you get a Female Primarina, awesome. Same applies to Delphox and Meowscarada
