I’ve seen this argument before but for me it doesn’t hold up. I work anything between 40-60 hours a week and I still don’t think I enjoy videogames (or anything at all) as I used to. Hell even hanging out with my friends to have drinks seems like a chore these days. Obviously the reason is Im depressed, so I quit my job to try and see if I can get more enjoyment out of life by doing something other than staring at excel copy pasting shit for 9 hours a day.
