Marathoning the classic mega man games.
The best is 6 unless I'm wrong.
Mega man 7's music and flow sucked lmao
8 was better
Are 9,10,and 11 kino?

Are 9,10,and 11 kino?
9 is meh, 10 is better, 11 is
>not retro
I think the opposite. 9 is great. 10 is pretty shit until the Wily stages and then it finally gets good.
So you think 11 is retro then opposite-kun?
From a certain point of view.
9 was fun, but 10 just sort of felt like they took the wrong message from 9 and we just banking on the 8bit style. 11 sucked and people jacked it off because they were still crying about that MN9 shit show. It also pretty much destroyed Dr Light as a character.
>not retro
Neither are the inti sequels
What a stupid opinion.
I can only play 1 and some of 2 before I'm burn the frick out!
homie keep going they are kino
Sorry those are not films.
4 > 2 > 6 > 8
I don't care for the rest
7's music is fricking kino if you don't kiss boys
>Marathoning the classic mega man games.
Did the same last year but stopped after 7, killed all the fun I had.
Liked 1,2,3
4,5 were meh but maybe its cuz it was just more of the same and I got burned out dunno, also didnt like the charge.
6 was pretty nice and different again I like it.
Love 3's ost
>Are 9,10,and 11 kino?
No, they're games.
last time I tried marathoning the classic megaman games I got burned out by 5. Out of the ones i've played, i'd rank them 4 > 2 >>>> 3 > 5 > 1
I got about halfway through 4 before I had to go play a Castlevania or something
4 is the first one I didn't have any real issues with, oddly enough. 1 has the wily stages, 2 has wily stage 4 and it's boss (on top of hard mode getting really annoying near the end) and 3 had the doc robot stages.
>Are 9,10,and 11 kino?
9 is the best one for people who actually got good. since your favourite is 6 I'm guessing you won't really appreciate it.
10 is okay
11 is great and its game system means both bad and good players can enjoy it
6 is an interesting choice. It's heavily gimmicked but it's a fun gimmick. It's not my favorite but it's my favorite after what I'd consider the classics of the series (2, 3, 9)
And yeah, 9 is mega kino and I think it's one of the best games of it's console generation. The devs looked at the past 20 years of Mega Man games and said "OK, what actually worked here." The mechanics are purposefully stripped down to make it a more pure experience and it has some great level design. I think it has one of the best soundtracks too. If you like 9, try playing the Hero and Superhero modes - they're hard modes and but all they do is rearrange the enemy placement.
10 is good but a step down.
Some people like 11 but I think it kind of sucks. The levels are too long for what it is and there's too much visual noise in parts. Mega Man works best as an 8-bit pixel art game and the further you get away from that, the worse it gets.
Have you played Rockman & Forte?
>Are 9,10,and 11 kino?
Yes. Play them all. If 6 is your favorite, you'll probably enjoy 10 or 11 the most. 9 is a modern(ish) classic regardless.
You are wrong. Jesus, 6? The wankiest whatever entry?
>7 bad
christ just leave
7 is really bad don't kid yourself
>dares to have original assets, decent weapons, and tons of 1-off setpieces, enemies, and easter eggs after years of NES straight-to-video
>but it's le big so... [fart huffing sniff] it's... le bad
Suck frick.
7 was the worst of the 16-bit era
Even if you thought that it's still a decent game with a lot of charm. It's beaten by two excellent games and its better than X2 and 3.
It's better than X3, but definitely not X2
X3 is objectively the best of them all, unless you're attracted to males on YouTube.
It's still better than 6 which was a cynical grab for SNES holdouts/poorgays, way worse than any entry before or since in the classic series (barring maybe 8), and has so little distinguishing itself.
4, 5 and 6 are the best of the classic era, although the first two games have more inspired moments, especially the first game
11 would have been a masterpiece if they did MM8 spritework but dialed it up a bit.
At the end of the day, i honestly enjoyed the game better than the last two games we gotten.
Frick Inti for nerfing Mega Man because "DOOD MM2 IS TAMASHII AIRUMAN IS 2HARDO"
Frick Inti for nerfing Mega Man because "DOOD MM2 IS TAMASHII AIRUMAN IS 2HARDO"
liwhat do you mean by this?
>what do you mean by this?
I mean I got filtered
I recall 9 being too damn hard with annoying level design, while 10 was too easy, but fun enough I guess. I suppose they does a good job at replicating the NES Megaman, but I would have preferred a 7 or 8 styled game
11 is actually pretty great
2>5>6>whatever on the rest. Those are the only 3 I keep playing over and over.
>Star Force
>no Battle Networks
2 > 3 > 1. there's absolutely no point in playing any further, everything else is just SHIT for GAYS
Most redditish opinion in this thread.
It's not wrong though. It's wild to me people hold up slop like 4 and 7.
homosexual, Mega Man is slop. 4 onward is refined slop. 1, 2 and 3 is gaytarded jap-slop and it's defenders are soigay hikki coomdoomers
>The best is 6
>8 better than 7
if your trend of dogshit takes continues from here, you will enjoy 10 more than 9 or 11
For people saying that MM10 is too easy, please play hard mode. I think it improves the game immensely.
I honestly think 10 is a good deal tougher than 9 (minus the final boss, which is incredibly easy) mainly because the master weapons suck so bad.
9 to 11 aren't retro mate
>9/10 made for WII
>11 made for modern consoles.
Within the nes bubble of games, 6 is the best.
Also if you are new to the series and just want to play a single one, pick 6.
People verbally shitting on 6 are moronic
You gotta be a bad player to pick 6 as a favourite. The single fact that you can't jump out of a slide due to a glitch prevents MM6 from being the best.
>the best is 6 unless I’m wrong.
What? Have some fricking confidence in your choice, you don’t need permission from strangers online to like something.
9, 10, and 11 are just more of the same. If you like what you’re playing now, you’ll like them too.
