DirectX and OpenGL use different coordinate systems. A "Normal Map" made for DirectX will not work as intended in an OpenGL application (and vice versa), unless the texture's green channel is inverted.
Yeah, its hard to do 1:1 because they have to be very intrusive with the game's geometry. I dont know how possible that is, but this port is very close to these pre-rendered promos
True. They pretty much need to remake almost every aspect of the game in order to look exactly like this. Thats a huge project and Im sure Nintendo will eventually shut it down, because they are like that

I see. I think this texture modpack wasnt made with an RTX enviroment in mind, but overall it looks better than running RTX on vanilla textures
