I still don't quite even get the point of Pendulum decks. I tried to play Solfachord in-archetype, without all the homosexual ED shit, and it's basically "you get to summon tons of monsters at once" … but none of them do anything interesting. And the way others play theirs, is basically abuse that to flood the field with negates, which doesn't sound too interesting either.
Feels like there is more decision making with DM about when to resummon Mage Black from GY.

Pendulum combos are fricking boring, overly long, and every pendulum deck that's remotely relevant plays exactly the same (pop your own scales to plus). Pendulum homosexuals will then go on to whine and cry about how whatever boogieman they've conjured up this time don't know how to read or whatever when all their cards have extremely simplistic effects (pop this card to plus or do something) and they all end on the same generic endboard with monsters everyone who plays the game knows the effects of. In the end most pendulum players are just seething contrarians that can neither take the fact that everyone hates their deck's boring and generic playstyle because almost every pendulum deck ends up being the same, nor actually own up to this fact and be heels in any genuine way. If you let people pend summon 5 monsters again, the game would actually get better. There's nothing you can do with that amount of material that people aren't already doing (BEFORE even needing to pendulum summon).
All that would happen is you'd get a few new pend decks popping up whose whole gimmick was summoning five dudes in defense every turn and passing, and that'd be good enough in some cases. It would genuinely make the game better and make pend less generic.

Nothing really. There was experimentation as an extender in Swordsoul but it seems unnecessary and Swordsoul sucks nowadays. It's also a combo piece in Agents of all places. Summonable from the hand when the Shine Balls are on field because they're normal monsters, and also a dump target off Spright Sprind as a way to consistently go into Gigantic Spright to get Carrot for a Spell negate at the end of your combo. But Agents also sucks nowadays and the Sprind line with Ringo was only really devised because Spright Elf was banned. This card doesn't have a real home right now in any good deck.

Chengying is actually better than Baronne but not in all decks. Chengying also solos Baronne 1v1 in most cases.
Dis Pater is an extender and needs a Dragon non-Tuner which is a non starter for most decks.
Ran is the most broken Level 10 but only Swordsoul can run her.
