You can't craft cards IRL
Doing 1-2 duels a day and participating in monthly events gives you like 7000+ gems a month, which is more than enough to build any deck except for the super UR taxed ones like Branded, and that's not counting gems and cp from the duel pass, gems from victories, or gems from ranking up in ranked. You can play super casually and the game will still give you more than enough resources to build pretty much anything you want the same day that it comes out, without spending a cent. If you actually spend money on gems for boosters in this game you're a moron, unlike paper where paying money is mandatory and prices are massively overinflated to boot.
I crafted 2 decks from scratch in the past 2 weeks with just those 2 weeks worth of gems, the gems from the current event, and some crafting points that I still had kicking around from my last build.

With paper, you can buy singles off the secondary market. You might pay a lot, but you are guaranteed to get the card you paid for.
In MD you are FORCED to interact with the shitty gacha system so nothing is guaranteed. You are literally taking on more risk than a gambler does in a casino with slot machines (since modern slot machines are progressive, meaning you can take another player's buildup if they get up and leave).
I watched MDC pull like 5 URs after spending $100 on the most recent gem sale. 10K Gems give you 5 fricking URs, that is not enough to craft anything but Gate Guardian.
Dusting those 5 URs will give you exactly 1 Thrust. So you can at least mtch that TCG SECONDRY MARKET price.

I just went up against a Mikanko deck with my Salad deck in the Duelist Cup & I got to say, I never thought this cards last effect would actually be useful. I had 11100 LP by the time the duel ended & most of it was me nuking his field with Pyro Phoenix + Transcendence, blowing up his monsters with Promethean Princess & defending with Sanctuary's last effect every time he tried to inflict damage to me. It was so one-sided that I almost field sorry for the guy.

No. There are BE themed cards and related stuff but the "lore" for it is strictly the anime.
The only things that got anime support while also being part of a major card story were Gem-Knights as far as I recall, and technically Bujins although that's kind of cheating and also not a major card story. Almost all others, even if they were used in the anime, kept to one or the other when it came to support theming.

Release a second lower value Selection pack each month that's primarily reprints of existing cards but also has a FOMO alt art in it alongside the main Selection pack that has the new meta cards. Just look at how much whales spent on the IP alt art pack and now much FOMO morons currently are spending on Ra. The normie playerbase is not impacted negatively because they aren't being aggressively preyed on or excluded from the opportunity to pull or missing out on any actually new exclusive cards, but the whales, collection autists, and people who succumb to FOMO will be encouraged to roll more than they otherwise would, and hopefully, spend more money to do so.
Hmm, well the easiest way is just to add extra rarities, same as the irl game. People have proven they can and will whale for a slightly shinier piece of cardboard, and this goes the same for digital cardboard. Considering MD's existing rarities, this shouldn't be a major budget sink.
The second easiest way would be adding a "completion" bonus to a Selection Pack, where you would receive a prize for "completing" the gacha (i.e. obtaining 1 of every card in it). However, this is dubiously viewed and will be somewhat maligned, so much like irl, it's best to make it a cosmetic or added rarity bonus card that is easily available elsewhere.
The unethical way to do it would simply be to adopt the Duel Links method of monetization and hybridize it into Master Duel, but this would work poorly in the long term.

Contrary to what people will tell you here and in social media, Kashtira still bodies 95% of decks in the game, god forbid if you don't have an in-engine out against ariseheart. It helps that people are going all in in gamma and bystials, which manage very little against kashtira's board presence.
tl;dr, Kashtira is a deck that gets way better the less prepared the metagame is for it. Much like Mathmech but far more resilient and with a floodgate slapped in.

Fragile as frick endboard with like 2 telegraphed interruptions, I play a going second deck full of board breakers and it's pretty much impossible to lose to Kash unless I brick.
It's not bad by any means, but at least as Traptrix, Kashtira and Lab are the only beatable meta decks; while with others I might as well scoop.

Super Poly or Evenly; plus obviously generally having a strong hand to prevent them from flooding the board with their crap.
I don't have a positive win rate against them by any means but if it goes well, it tends to end with a win. Vs something like Branded or VS, even if it starts well, I usually end up running out of resources and they can rebuild.

Something that confuses me about text wording, when a card says something like "when your opponent activates a spell/trap card OR effect, negate" I would assume it only negates spell/trap cards but the loose "or effect" leads me to believe it's an omninegate that works on any effect.
Konami makes the distinction between a spell/trap card and a spell/trap effect.
If you could only negate a spell/trap CARD you can only negate the activation of a continuous/field S/T being placed onto the field but not the opponent activating an effect on it after its already been placed.

I'm not playing Zoo, but I think any one plus Chakratine makes it. However you likely want Drident as well if you draw both zoo normal and barrage, and with F0 and UDF that's 4-5 ED slots.

Droll can be played under in most cases and is far less wide spread. Maxx "C" shows up in 75% of games, 100% of deck builders, and forces you to choose one of two options which are usually both wrong either way. You're probably just playing dragon link.

I know you have the mental capacity of a goldfish but yes Droll is not often played in TCG. Even when Drytron was popular it was barely played because every other deck barely gave a shit about it or it was straight up useless. It is popular right now at this moment as a side deck card but format to format for the past couple years it has barely been present even in side decks except the brief moment where SHS was legal and it was actually a main deck card. This nonsense that everyone is playing Droll in the main deck in TCG like Maxx C is just a fricking lie from people who don't play TCG. Plus if people are playing Droll that much sometimes you can take less greedy lines to play around it or do your searching in the DP. There is no intelligent counterplay to Maxx C, you just stop playing.

You 100% play Fenrir and Riseheart. Riseheart is there so you can have an easily searchable fire in hand and Fenrir search Fenrir obviously gets you an Earth for free. I've seen people play VS with an extended Kashtira package with Unicorn, Theosis, and D Shifter but 2 Fenrir 1 Riseheart is mandatory imo. It's too fricking good.

Spheres is an bounce that floats into anything you might want depending on the situation which can be another bounce to a search, to setting up a starter board for the next turn. This guy's the equivalent of a Baronne pass, and there's a reason no deck does that.

U Link, or Extra Link, is a mechanic where if you make a chain of co-linked Link monsters traveling from your Extra monster zone to your opponent's, you can also Link summon up into your opponent's Extra monster zone with another co-linked monster. This is typically done with a series of monsters in a U shape or V shape. Combine this with Iblee, which locks your opponent into only Link monsters, and your opponent won't be able to summon at all because their Extra monster zone is already full.
Not exactly, you can play cynet conflict cyberse but it's more of a go-first and make a board kind of gameplan.
Even Salamangreat, which is more of a midrange playstyle, has easy access to jammer+accesscode, it's just how cyberse is.
