Colossus is banned in tcg and you have to use Thunder Dragon shit to play him. Also despite essentially being a link-1 wearing puple, he's less bullshit than some other link-1's.
Droll doesn't stop drawing, and can only be used after adding a card.
Colossus is at least a floodgate you have to put a marginal amount of work in to actually summon and takes up an ED slot, you can't compare it to handtraps. Droll on the other hand is pure homosexualry that can end your turn just as bad as the roach and is even better in some situations considering it's a literal handtrap floodgate instead of something you can play through and OTK on t2 for example. It really has no business being legal if maxx sneed is banned but we're talking about a clown format that also bans shit like red reboot to protect the poor labtran.nies
Colossus is reviled pretty hard because it's a consistent hard to kill floodgate. Droll is annoying but most of the times it is irrelevant to the format, or shit as a main deck card. But even when Droll is in the format, it's like Nib where you can do lines to play into Droll and not die. It's also only when Maxx C is also in the format that Droll is really fricking nonsensically strong because now you have to play into one or the other or burn counter cards for both at any given moment. Just like Nib is manageable in a healthy way when Maxx C doesn't exist, but Maxx C is just made much stronger by Nib. For the record even in TCG I don't think Droll is banworthy, and it's not because I think it "keeps shit in check" like roach frickers have deluded themselves into thinking. I think Droll is powerful but it's not the end of the world so long as it's able to be respected. I think the same thing about Nib. And I'm saying this shit going into the PHNI format with Silenforc also, the new Ritual deck.
because we can't act like there's anything obnoxious in our roach safe space. see, we have a wonderful little format where games totally aren't decided by handtraps ever, and combo decks still never go on to make unbreakable boards with three cards in hand
Maxx has a psychological effect because the draws are a ticking clock. Players who crack under pressure do not like it existing, even if Droll is the stronger card.
Mannadium can OTK under Maxx no problem, but it cannot handle droll at all, because the non-Mannadium Visas slop needs to add to hand.
If you REALLY need to hate on Droll, you can run up to 10 cards in the main deck to beat it in TCG and not worry about using any on Maxx C. I think you need to brush up on your math and what cards beat what outside of what the designated roach meta tells you to run.
>why is the handtrap that kills a large portion of decks not as reviled as the handtrap that kills nearly every single deck in the game
our foremost card game scientists are still hard at work figuring that one out
Has there ever been a main deck staple monster as powerful as fenrir? I'm honestly also going to miss it being a boost for my shit decks that can afford the space, fricker does everything
I dunno but is it still worth using a single fenrir? I know his effects are still good though but to be able to search another one and help thin the deck was just to good and any deck that has the space
It's probably better for consistency to omit a one-of that might brick your hand. Even though one of Fenrir's biggest selling points is that it's never really a brick. I mean I don't know it might be just fine in some really garbage decks but not being able to replace itself for discard fodder/followup really takes the edge off
In VS probably, but otherwise he's just a 1 card guy. Which is fine, but nothing special. There's a bunch of single cards that don't use your normal summon and just get you a decent monster on the field that you could use instead.
I'm tinkering with maybe running a Scareclaw Kashtira instead of the second Fenrir in the normal Kashtira package for VS. The thing is there just aren't a lot of other good earth cards to run that both search other attributes and improve your endboard. Might be worth running Contact C or Ghost Belle but then you risk bricking on too many hand traps. Maybe the new SHS cards but you'd have to shave non-engine and everyone is gonna be building to counter them.
>this is an actual pure cyberse pile endboard without circular >6 bounces, destruction protection with gy defenser >Desawurm negate live >lingu trap negates evenly or imperm >if anything besides singularity dies, you can revive it >darkfluid with 4 monster negates
Here's the deck if you wanna try it. I built it here to make IRL and try my luck in locals. It obviously works better if you add handtraps. I would cut Cynet Conflict, Degrade Buster, 1 Exceed, 1 Micro Coder, 1 Cyberse Gadget, 1-2 Lady Debug, Cyberse Gadget and Balancer Lord if you wanna add more Mathmechs or handtraps. The deck should reach the same endboard regardless.
Frick the meta, I don't even play gay decks like r*nick and lab that benefit most from it, I play almost exclusively decks that die to it, and even I still accept that it's necessary to protect me from the death sentence that is going second.
Cope
>taking this card out of the graveyard doesn't cancel it's effect unless it's specifically negated first
that's a bit ass but whatever, more materials for link for me
>Maxx "D" >Lvl 2/Dark/Dragon/Effect/500/200 >If your opponent has discarded an Insect monster to activate an effect this turn, you can discard this card to activate this effect: For the rest of this turn, whenever your opponent draws a card, you can Special Summon a Dragon monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its summoning conditions.
There roach is balanced now
no everyone hates runick regardless of floodgates
literally every card game out there hates defensive, stally mill decks
adding furries or plants doesn't make it more fun to face a deck that banishes your important one off
deck's literally more irritating than sky striker when it was good, frick runick
I disagree. I almost never hit crucial one ofs when I play bystial runick. And when I do it's because the games gone on for over five turns. If it's so villainous for random mills hitting a one of in 34 cards, then random handrips hitting one or two of your six cards in your hand should have the same weight. If not even worse as your hand could easily go from playable to unplayable.
You can disagree all you want, you're the person playing runick, of course you don't hate it.
Again, it's because it's a defensive, stally mill deck. Banishing an important oneoff isn't the main point here, it's just an extra irritant.
You suck. And here's a hint, if Runick wasn't regarded as massively unfun to face they wouldn't have hit it so much. You can't blame it all on floodgates, the usable ones have almost all been limited. Runick itself is a significant contributor to the hatred it gets.

Stun decks have limited window of opportunity and soon as backrow is full they are vulnerable to boardbreakers.
Runick completely negate this pesky drawback on top of draw for more toys and make your opponent deal with whatever you have on hand, which is negate / pop on top of mill.
Even discounting floodgate turbo, free bodies enable ton of shit since it have zero drawback besides lack of battle, which don't even need because synchro climb or any other horseshit.
runick is gay as long as it banishes cards and it has that homosexual hugin protect entire backrow from cards like HFD >b-but milling is legitimate strategy
its gay and it encourages usage of floodgates
In a game without resources, attacking deck directly is fricking awful, you cant even stall till draw the out because its banished. Not mention that Runick have enough speed to draw every floodgate under the sun and fountain to enable plays from hand.
Its fricking awful and go completely against most of game.
Older cards that still see play. OCG doesn't reprint as much as TCG. OCG is cheap to keep up with and then those cards actually will appreciate in value, while TCG will eventually reprint SP dropping the price by 90%. Often right as the card start losing meta relevance.
I don't think it's true anymore but Knightmare Phoenix's lowest print used to be like 15-20 bucks in OCG while it was under a dollar in TCG iirc. But they've reprinted since then.
Soul Release, meta relevant right now is also more expensive than the TCG by a small margin. Trias Hierarchia is also pennies in TCG but like 3 bucks in OCG because it is seeing play in Silenforc. Neither unaffordable though. Speaking of Trias and Trias combos, Buten is like a dollar or under a dollar in TCG, shit is 8 bucks in OCG, both regions have limited printings. Definitely a more obscure card of course. If you need something more meta relevant, look at Garura like 10 bucks more expensive than TCG for the lowest printing. OCG is still cheaper over all, but if you're a dirt poor budget player you can build a playable deck for locals for cheaper in the TCG, especially when good SDs like the current Fire Kings SD are out.
He didn't ask about that, you gay. Imagine this, people actually enjoy playing in person for various reasons. And people even enjoy collecting. It takes some real weird autism to hate playing cards while playing a simulator of those same playing cards.
Before RC25th, Knightmare Unicorn was a $33 card in the OCG because they didn't reprint it in Genesis Impact.
Generally the most major differences between the OCG and TCG is that OCG makes cards easy to get to start but rarely ever reprints anything and throws a lot of stuff behind promotions and bundles with non-card products, while TCG makes cards extremely difficult to get to start but reprints the living shit out of them later and almost never has any sort of functional promo card anymore, instead putting the OCG promo cards into core boosters as pack filler.
If you just want something that's good enough to hit max rank then get 3 copies of the Blackwing/Salamangreat/Ninja structure decks. If you want something that's actually meta relevant then pull from the Labrynth secret pack.
They limited a lot of stun tools so there aren't a ton of really cheap viable archetypes right now. Ninjas are a good structure if you want something that can compete, and Floowandereeze is eternal but keeps catching stray hits from the banlist. I think this next banlist is something like the 10th consecutive Floo or Floo adjacent hit. Cyberse Pile is good even without Circular but the extra deck is expensive unless you have a bunch of cyberse staple cards already.
A lot of other budget strategies like True Draco have also been hit by the banning of cards like Card of Demise and various floodgates, so you take what you can get.
wat
dogmatika was a literal 5 UR maindeck archetype before, with about 7 in the ED depending on your nadir toolkit, and now it's an 11 UR maindeck archetype with an extra set of 4 in the ED (2 Lulu, Albion, Mirrorjade).
This is the big one. After Balelynx came out there was no point in making Almiraj in regular Salamangreats, Sanctuary is just too important to the deck to give up for single target destruction protection. You'd make Baronne in Fleurs, Chengying in Swordsoul, Verte in Predaplants, they just fit into generic slots more easily. Accesscode Talker almost fits that role, you wouldn't really make it in Firewall/code talker piles as much just because the deck has better bosses and in some cases finishers these days.
>Verte in Predaplants,
Nah, he basically never comes up to the point that he's easily cuttable for something else. They have far better ways to fuse that they can reach just as easily, and they're likely to lock themselves to fusions early in their combo.
If you squint, Synchrons is also a Sherry deck, and did run Fleur Synchron over Satellite before Assault was released.
I think Synchrons do run Baronne but don't summon her unless it's Adventure Synchron.
Sherry.dek is actually a thing.
Fleur as a deck basically just summons Baronne every turn. Remember, she has effects other than the negate. There is a REASON she's so good, she was supposed to be the boss of an utter failure of a deck.
No, she was made generic to sell packs.
But she IS factually the boss of the Fleur deck. Basically it just recycles Baronne every turn and maybe throws out Chevalier sometimes. I built it once but it's too expensive in MD because I'm not using Sauge for anything else.

No she's not. There is no "Fleur deck". It's not an archetype and there's no coherent deck around the few fleur cards. She's simply an entirely generic lvl 10 synchro that happens to reference a character from the anime.

There actually is.
It's a series, but so is Trains.
She really is the boss of the Fleur deck, I'm sorry you don't believe it exists but it is actually a deck.

The Secret Pack in MD also has all the cards that are supposed to work together for the deck, if you don't believe me.

Sorry to tel you this, but Mannequin cat is the boss of the "Cat" deck because I normal summoned Rescue Cat and use its effect to summon two Melffy Cattys which I overlayed into Mannequin Cat.

Konami designed the card to work with it.
Go b***h at them, not me.
Note that a Series or Archetype existing does not mean that's a deck.
"Fleur" as a deck is actually a bunch of knights with a couple plant wizards on the side, and most of them don't have Fleur in the name. Again, if you want to see the cards that are supposed to go with it, go look at the secret pack.
The deck is supposed to destroy it's own cards to put Fleur Synchron and either Centaur Mina or Sauge de Fleur on the field to summon Baronne and resummon her every turn to refresh the negate.

https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/sherry-leblanc-anime-hypothetical-deck-310077
Basically the deck either just summons the horse to get Chev out, or the spellcasters to get Baronne out.
It's actually an extremely simple deck that's designed to just be able to shit out Baronne every turn.
E.g. You open with Tuning, Necro, or Fleur Synchron, and a L3 horse. Normal horse, add knight to hand, use horse's effect to fuse into Centaur Mina with the card you just added, summon your synchron with her effect, synchro into Baronne, pop 1 with Mina's effect since she was used for a WIND synchro like she was supposed to be.
Use up Baronne's negate on the opponent's turn.
Return Baronne to ED to summon Mina, Mina summons the synchron again, re-synchro Baronne for a fresh negate.
OR you normal Necro Fleur and pop that instead.
I've played the deck, it's your typical shitty anime jank that needs to open 2 cards to do anything. But yes, it is a deck.

oops meant the knight you used for Mina, not the synchron (too low level, it's for chev)
But you get the idea.
>good mills from Laundry, end on Spheres, Lubellion and Regained >opponent summons Sandaion, sets one and goes into Battle Phase, bounce him and summon another Laundry for more mills, he passes turn >even more mills, filling my board with Rulers, Bystials and Sheou, bounce his set card with Unicorn >he finally scoops >check his deck out of curiosity >59-card Ancient Gear deck with royal Megaton Golem
The memes write themselves. At least he's getting support in the future.

FIRE Spellcaster / Effect
LV8 2800/2600
You can only use the 1st and 2nd effect of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) When an attack is declared involving this card and an opponent’s monster: You can place that opponent’s monster and this card face-up in their owners’ Spell & Trap Zone as Continuous Spells.
(2) If this card is a Continuous Spell: You can target 1 FIRE monster in your GY, except “Snake-Eyes Diabellstar”; place it face-up in its owner’s Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell, and if you do, Special Summon this card.

Evading the law probably takes most of that because her demon tools take care of her slob self.
I've not played runick naturia. The bystials of course are extenders and handtraps. The recursion of everything. Chain blocks. Fun little interactions between all of the cards. Like runick triggering golden swordsoul to get another tuner on board. The deck feels like it has a lot of depth to it. Instead of naturia's negate spam it builds more into interactions.
Josh has actually sort of talked about this. He thinks runick naturia is probably still the better variant in MD. The main reason he played bystial runick is because Sacred tree is limited in TCG
>He thinks runick naturia is probably still the better variant in MD. The main reason he played bystial runick is because Sacred tree is limited in TCG
Ok that makes way more sense.
>don't negate called because I'm worried about ash or maxx c >had three fricking bystials on hand
I won, but that made the game take so much longer than It should have.
So is there really nothing I can do about Bystials just banishing my shit? Is there no handtrap that counters them at all? I just have to sit there and take it?
Sure, just let me never play light or darks ever again.
Actually, thinking on it, can she negate the Bystial summon? Or is it "no because it's a cost"?
She counters the puppet lock in Brandon, and even some of their Fusions and techs. She also counters Mathmech and Labrynth. If she can counter Bystials, then she might definitely be worth running.
>Sure, just let me never play light or darks ever again.
Thunder Dragons are the one chaos deck that don't care that much about Bystials, since neither Roar or Hawk target and banishing them from the GY triggers effects.
Sure, just let me never play light or darks ever again.

So she does. Looks like it's time to start running the Goth e-girl. I'm sick and tired Bystials ruining my plays and just autolosing to them if I decide I want to play Tears.
Belle is bad against Bystials. Sure, you stop one, but you can't stop 2 and since you didn't destroy the Bystial it remains in the hand to be summoned next turn.
Belle is only really good against spells/traps like Big Welcome.
Using up a card to delay an effect by one turn can often be the difference between winning and losing. Who cares if they can summon their Bystial next turn if it allowed me to go full combo on this turn? That's still a major advantage gained.
Still, I wouldn't run Ghost Belle just for bystials. If your deck is that fricked by them that you'd consider running counters then you should probably just shelve that deck for a format or two.
>Who cares if they can summon their Bystial next turn if it allowed me to go full combo on this turn?
Because there are 4 Bystials and, though each are hard OPTs, each of them have the same effect so all 4 could potentially resolve in 1 turn. Decks that run Bystials run more than 1, so Belle is more risk than reward, being situational and not guaranteed to stop what it's there to stop.
With cards like Big Welcome, it's a chokepoint because you can't replicate that effect until Transition Rollback comes along.
If you instantly lose to 1 bystial then being in situations where they need 2 bystials to beat you instead is still a good thing. This is like saying it's dumb to run Ash for Maxx C because they might have Called by and Maxx C. Yeah, sometimes you just lose because their hand beats yours.
Sure, just let me never play light or darks ever again.

Literally every main set + every Animation Chronicle + more often than not with Structure Decks + other packs + whenever they feel like. So constantly every year.
>Duel Terminal archetype >Never getting cards again
It hasn't even been that long since they got new cards either, and no I'm not mixing them up with Ritual Beasts
Shaddolls got support because they were a popular meta deck, but outside of token Links when did Bujins, Qliphorts, lswarm get new support cards?
Konami also plays favorites and decks that piss them off, like Goat Control, Tele-DAD, Dragon Rulers, Thunder Dragons and Spright get spited on the banlist and what support they get later. Goat even had the dishonor of multiple errata's.
>Bujins
2021, Bujincandescence, Torifune and Mahitotsu, all after the Link-2 came out. Wouldn't be surprised if Qlis get support beyond Genius if they continue doing Terminal World packs since they made a whole wave for Genex and a couple years ago for Fabled too.
I still believe the Fabled cards were meta at the time. Tri-Brigade had just come out and made Obedience Schooled multiple 1-card combos. Just one of those things that nobody ever tried.
>Bujins, Qliphorts, lswarm get new support cards?
Because people don't like those archetypes and they don't have waifus
I mean frick man they literally just released a set entirely about giving legacy support to Duel Terminal Archetypes
>Because people don't like those archetypes
Qliphorts were an actually good Pendulum archetype, but it was slow and control oriented not coombo sloppa so no wonder Pendgays hate it
>duel against a mathmech moron that negated his own teraheartz with Baronne >After I get rid of his cards he starts stalling as much as possible since I couldn't otk with my hand >Lost my connection while he was wasting his turn doing nothing
Frick all stalling morons that get wins of shit like this.
What is the purpose of Etermakina Carnor? This seems like a really useless anti-handtrap that just dumps a 4k beater on the field.
It's 100% going to be UR in MD so I'd like the reasoning as to why, this is Phantom Nightmare's generic elite monster akin to Beargram or Zeus.
Its purpose is to be pack filler. I don't know why you think it'd be UR, but I hope you're right because it sucks. If you really want then you can use it in a deck like rank 10 trains as an unreliable extender. Or you could combine it with Pitknight Earlie if your goal is to pretend the attack boost effect is good.
Also it's just a 3-4k beater/extender that can summon itself from the hand/GY. Discard fodder for Galaxy Soldier? I don't know.
Maybe it'll find a home some day if light machines get more support.
It'd be UR because the OCG hyped it up when it was revealed, made it get the full rarity spectrum in PHNI, and it's basically the equivalent of Beargram, TY-PHON, etc.
But whereas Beargram was clearly meant to be Traptrix support for the then-recent SD, and TY-PHON is meant as the anti-ZEUS, this seems purposeless. It could be that Promethean Princess was the actual Elite of the pack and I'm moronic, but it's hard to tell sometimes.
For example, here's a list of past elites.
https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Secret_Utility_Box
What do you mean? It's a board breaker. It's not the best ever, but it's the same idea as pank or fenrir. Instead of dodging removal like pank or having all of fenrir's stupid effects, it has more attack than them and you can still summon it even if it's pitched for a cost.
Doesn't break much.
I also just noticed the elite of the pack is actually the Yubel cover card apparently. It's whatever card appeared as a Holographic Rare in the OCG version of the core booster it came in. I am an idiot.
Ancient Warriors seem really really good for a beatdown archetype, am I missing something? All of their shit is absolutely effect bloated beyond belief.
Beatdown archetypes have no place in the modern metagame. You have to reliably OTK through multiple monsters if allowed to combo to be somewhat viable as an aggressive going second deck. Also its bricky.
The engine isn’t consistent or small enough. People run Numerons because of how easy it is but I get to the field spell and how many board breakers it can fit into the deck. Mc’Kankle is a larger engine but it searchers all of its pieces consistently and doesn’t need to clear the entire board to OTK
It's okay, they're good at forcing trades so talent, thrust and kurikara are always guaranteed to live when you play with them. But their normal summon is kinda weak since it's a trigger effect, searching for a cost and have restriction so even if you break the board. You can't really win in the long grind game. But eh, kurikara feet though.
Konami won’t make the rest of the Mannadium cards besides Amritara URs, right? There’s already 26+ URs in the main deck and the only fricking non-UR ED monster is Cross-Sheep.
Please for the love of god give us new game modes.
Adding stuff like Edison would probably make them more money too because it would give people a reason to blow gems on secret packs for old archetypes no one plays anymore.
You could even appeal to nostalgia gays by naming the formats after the anime. Imagine how many boomers would cum in their pants if they added a "battle city" format or something.
The problem with Merrli is that she still gives Tears a third fusion from GY, I could see her coming out of the banlist only if Havnis and Scheiren also get limited while keeping the Ishizu millers permanently banned.
That would be cool and all if the deck wasn't allowed to fuse on the opponent's turn too, especially when they have easy access to shit like Winda and Dragostapela above the already summoned Rullkalos and Kaleido-Heart.
Synchrons were not an actual deck before Junk Speeder.
Junk Doppel only needed 2 tuners, Level 1 and Junk Synchron. Every other tuner was in the Extra Deck.
Disagree. The deck has so much more flexibility and consistency with Kitkallos legal instead of banning her and keeping Merli. I much prefer playing tear now even with just the two fusers as opposed to some gamble brain nonsense where you have a higher ceiling but only if you hit jackpot
>Every new release is bad until AGOV gets ported over >Every player can easily have 9,999 gems with nothing to do besides Royal farming
MD must OVERTHROW the OCG, give us PHNI before the TCG gets it!
Final take on this for now, I'll see how far I can get with it and if I can still change some cards, but so far I'm having a lot of fun with it. Maybe I could also try adding Spright Elf and Red-Eyes Black Meteor.
>doing syncro daily >guy im up against has 60 cards >well I guess I just make abyss dweller if he pulled grass >he pulled grass >abyss dweller does nothing to the machine monsters in his graveyard >He also pulled limiter removal
Man 60 card grass decks just always have insane luck
I've tried that before but found it matters less when blind seconding compared to having another ED slot to put another dump monster in as a slayer target, and the times I've bricked on maximus after diviner gets blocked hasn't come up very often

Oh and almiraj has been pretty useful by itself in preventing alba zoa from dying to a stray non-ED destruction too
I'm not sure about these changes since I play a regular dogma build, but anyways:
-Cut the N card.
-How often does the second Fleur come out? Two seems like a brick to me but I've never tried so I don't know.
-I see 3 targets for Lulu's gy effect. I think you should settle for one to avoid bricking, and looking at your build cartesia seems like the best option.
-Replace these cards with handtraps/board breakers or maybe a third bysstial.
-Yeah, I've just been testing it but it seems like a win-more card
-I just run two to slightly decrease the chance of a one-of getting milled or something, the second almost never comes out
-I like having quem and cartesia since quem can burial cartesia off of lulu's effect, probably can cut iris though yeah
-I assume you mean baldrake? I'll try him out
>going second
Add Evenly
Drop 1 Kalamity
Drop Central
Diviner is fine but Gale Dogra is more efficient
Dogra's an interesting idea, but he's not a bystial target like diviner is. I'll definitely find space for a couple of evenlys though.

Actually I just noticed dogra can't be ashed, I'll definitely replace diviner then
I would be if it was a more pure build and I was running pre-prep, but it’s just not good enough at pushing for game going second and I feel like the current build ED rips enough as-is
Is Ultimate Slayer any good? As in, has actually helped you out in games before? I have two copies too, and I run them in Dogmatika, but it literally never comes up.
Should I play Master Duel or Duel Links? Which one requires less knowledge of the current anime series lore? I collected cards and watched the OG anime as a kid but now I just wanna play sum focking You-Gee-Ow
Master Duel is a card game simulator with identical gameplay to the physical game aside from banlist differences.
Duel Links is an anime-based spinoff with different rules and anime gimmick skills that change the gameplay. It's also extremely greedy and anti-f2p.
Knowledge of the anime continuity has nothing to do with playing the card game but DL is packed to the fricking brim with references to the anime as opposed to MD which is just about the game and nothing else
In terms of gameplay DL features a heavily streamlined and lower powerlevel version of the real thing while MD simulates it exactly as it is irl
Duel Links is pay to win, it's also a parody of the real game. Believe it or not it's even more solitaire, stun, coin flip, cheap OTKs, unsufferable homosexualry and so on.
Anon here, yes I played Duel Links a few years back and was really annoyed that the game threw every fricking chatacter from every multigalactic frickshit universe in my face and I had no idea who they are. Played around 20 matches and it got insuffurerable real quick when people just kinda one shots you with their premium 'ecks. Thats why I was asking if Master Duel is any different. Thank you guys for the answers, maybe i'll give MD a shot.
>Should I play Master Duel or Duel Links?
Legends of Runeterra, no need to thank me
Master duel is the best online card game for the simple fact that the camera is slightly canted towards the opponent's field as if you're actually overlooking a table instead of the egregious direct overhead view all other card games seem to use
are you shitting me, this is the kind of summoning animations for boss monsters in other games!
bro what the frick, why can't we have something like this for our monsters?
this makes exodia's win animation look like its from a low budget indie game.
isn't this a bit too sexual? i don't think this is appropriate for a game played by children.
>girl posing on a motorcycle, not even scantily-clad, is sexual
maybe to a coombrain like you. There's nothing inherently sexual about it at all, she's just hot.
are you shitting me, this is the kind of summoning animations for boss monsters in other games!

Forbidden Lance, it's bad though
Book of Moon can be used to dodge targeting negates in some scenarios by flipping your own monster, but it's also not very good
Non engine in yugioh just isn't really worth running in general unless it has a huge blowout effect that can turn the game around
if you play go 2nd deck or board breaker or draw no handtrap, get prepared to get ftked, SHS still has access to several ftk engine that are still legal in MD
I feel odd strain of mental illness coming to me.
I feel like you could mash Visas shit with d-link. Like just go up to dragon ravine and then pop romulus to dip into visas stuff before coming back to dragons.
My mind went for >Dlink until romulus search ravine >pop romulus to summon visas >Visas link to LightHeart >Field spell for Reichheart >Special Reichheart, search Arrival >Arrival visas to end with lvl 4 and lvl 6 tuner with ravine and boot sector in hand.
It feels "free" and not too deck or ED heavy but as bricky as the deck is do I really want a cards that only interact on assumption that I manage to destroy a dragon to get visas out...
Gold Pride - Assassinator
Lv5 EARTH Machine Tuner
1800/800
You can only use the (1) and (2) effects of this card's name once per turn.
(1) If your LP are less than your opponent's: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
(2) You can banish 1 other "Gold Pride" Monster from your hand, face-up field or GY; Special Summon 1 "Gold Pride Token" (DARK Machine 0/0) with the same level as the banished monster. For the rest of this turn, If you would use this card as Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Material, you can only use it as material for a "Gold Pride" Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Summon.
Gold Pride - Annihilator
Lv8 DARK Warrior Synchro
2700/1700
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
You can only use the (1) effect of this card's name once per turn.
(1) During your opponent's turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Monster on the field (If your LP are lower than your opponent's, you can target 2 of those monsters instead); Destroy those monster(s).
(2) During the End Phase of the turn you activated the (1) effect: Return this card to the Extra Deck, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Gold Pride - Assassinator" from your Deck or GY.
Cool cards but probably a 1 off at most, the problem is Assasinator does nothing on their turn like Leo or Roller so it's more of a combo piece that requires a GP part to work but if you use it's effect then you can't use it to link/xyz/synchro with it except for a GP and given the levels of the archetype you are just summoning Annihilator with it which looks cool but it's basically a worse Star Leon.
It does increase the potential endboard ceiling of the archetype so I appreciate that but the restriction on Assasinator sucks since it would be really good if I could summon a generic level 8 with it, might become better if they release other GP synchro/links/xyz monsters.
Ka$h money is notoriously tiny and almost endlessly splashable
Bystials are potentially even more compact at their smallest but are more specific in what decks they can be used
lower power level overall than tier meta allows a deck that relies on a one-time raigeki and two destroys to get by. additionally has draw power and very good burn potential. I personally don't get people calling that deck op or anything, branded (another t1 deck) is much more egregious
it might have to do with the fact that VS gets to play a handtrap turbo game which is kind of a Ganker hates it thing. see: sky strikers, live twin, marincess which people have b***hed and moaned about in the past when they were never op in md. (although some other handtrap heavy archetypes like mathmech and runick get justified hate tbh)
So are they gonna make a snake eyes structure deck at this rate? It feels really weird that every fricking fire card that's half decent is worth $40+ in TCG now
Still way too much for cardboard, MD is better.
Also that's a prerelease TCG price, which are much higher, with dump URs being dozens more than they should be
Ofc FREE is better than NOT FREE.
But let's not sit here a compare TCG and OCG prices abd practices like they're remotely similar.
TCG prices are more than double, 3x over across the board. Even the retail prices on official product. With decks costing upwards of 500$ going as high as 1000$ in some cases for a competitive deck with a lifespan of less than a year.
OCG prices by comparison average at around 100$ going as high as 300$. Still more pricy than it SHOULD be, but reasonable compared to other Japanese card games. TCG on the other hand is a full blown scam for morons.
>Ofc FREE is better than NOT FREE.
lmao, you don't even own your cards on MD. it will disappear along the server when time come

I don't really care. I never spent any money. The time utilizing them as playing piece is basically the same. Which, we spend as much time playing with them as you TCGcucks do, only difference is you spent 300$ for a playset of something I just dismantled some junk URs I didn't even want.
Enjoy cracking open $1000 worth of boxes just to try and pull that one meta relevant card you're going to use once or twice before it gets banned.

If I wanna buy cards, I'll buy OCG. Better quality. Cheaper.
If I wanna play Yu-Gi-Oh, I'll play MD.
TCG is for idiots with Stockholm Syndrome.
well yeah but bonfire is a bad example because it's still expensive in OCG

I didn't make the comparison. I'm responding to a moron who wanted to pretend that 4500¥ is remotely as bad as TCG prices.
I also don't need to compare decks. Just compare retail prices and contents on boxes.
You get 4-5 UR+ in TCG per box that costs like 100$ in sets that are 50% larger (read, bloated ergo lower odds of getting what you want), with the boxes containing 24 packs.
Compared to 8-9 UR per box that costs 4500¥, in sets that are a total of 85 cards, giving you not only higher odds of getting what you want from a single box, in most cases 3-4 boxes will fully give you a playset of every card in the set with lits of Prismatics and the like. Each box containing 30 packs.
TCG is straight up a full blow scam. Abd the fact that TCGcucks take this shit sitting down is embarrassing.

My bad, 5280¥ is retail, you can get them for 4500¥ on discount frequently (see Amazon).
https://www.yugioh-card.com/japan/products/lede/
You can do the math yourself, 176¥ per pack, x360 packs a box.
I literally live in Japan jackass. I'm not going to take lip from TCG secondaries making up lies about the OCG. Sit the frick down. You're at the bottom of the food chain.

I TOLD you. It's an indefensible full blown scam. The fact that people ACTUALLY defend the TCG is straight up rage inducing. I get not having a choice, but defending that shit?
There's a REASON there's separate banlist, and it's cause KoA knows they can get away with it.

not that, but OCG only has 4 UR per box

I've bought boxes in the OCG before. I pulled well over 9 UR, including a Prismatic DPE off a 4500¥ BODE box. TCG probably has around 4UR, but not OCG. Just look at any OCG box opening on YT and count yourself.

I mean if they want to play phys there's no other choice. You can wait for reprints to drop the price to OCG levels I guess, but aside from fruit and baked goods, everything is more expensive in the west, especially entertainment. People would buy OCG if they could use them.
Fact is, if EN players could use OCG cards, they'd jack the shit out of the price. Scumbags would buy 5000 of a 40 cent card and raise it to 2 dollars.
You know those $300 damaged NA 3DS's compared to $80 mint condition used JP ones? It's like that.
I literally live in Japan jackass. I'm not going to take lip from TCG secondaries making up lies about the OCG. Sit the frick down. You're at the bottom of the food chain.

Why are the Infernoble Knights so zesty?
konami needs to print more bussy besides punk

because all burn cards should be banned
Just banish 40 monsters and summon 2 of these.

Why aren't Colossus and Droll as reviled as they roach? They're way more annoying and game-ending
Combotrannies in the TCG want Droll banned now so rest assured that your stupidity isn't unmatched
Floodgates are based actually because something something my opponent played more cards than normal summon pass >:(
Anytime Droll is good, the format's gone to hell. Clearly, the problem here is Droll.
Colossus is banned in tcg and you have to use Thunder Dragon shit to play him. Also despite essentially being a link-1 wearing puple, he's less bullshit than some other link-1's.
Droll doesn't stop drawing, and can only be used after adding a card.
Name literally one Link-1 stronger than Colossus
If it makes you feel better anon I hate most of the handtraps, absolutely terrible balance design.
because we can't act like there's anything obnoxious in our roach safe space. see, we have a wonderful little format where games totally aren't decided by handtraps ever, and combo decks still never go on to make unbreakable boards with three cards in hand
Maxx has a psychological effect because the draws are a ticking clock. Players who crack under pressure do not like it existing, even if Droll is the stronger card.
Mannadium can OTK under Maxx no problem, but it cannot handle droll at all, because the non-Mannadium Visas slop needs to add to hand.
>even if Droll is the stronger card
Droll stronger than Maxx C? What the frick kind of moronic fantasy did I just walk into?
>6 main deck outs to Maxx
>2 main deck outs to Droll
do the math
If you REALLY need to hate on Droll, you can run up to 10 cards in the main deck to beat it in TCG and not worry about using any on Maxx C. I think you need to brush up on your math and what cards beat what outside of what the designated roach meta tells you to run.
All 3 cards should be banned
>why is the handtrap that kills a large portion of decks not as reviled as the handtrap that kills nearly every single deck in the game
our foremost card game scientists are still hard at work figuring that one out
Colossus is based and makes morons seethe tbh. As this thread proves

I'm gonna miss having 2 fenrirs in almost every deck I use
Has there ever been a main deck staple monster as powerful as fenrir? I'm honestly also going to miss it being a boost for my shit decks that can afford the space, fricker does everything
I dunno but is it still worth using a single fenrir? I know his effects are still good though but to be able to search another one and help thin the deck was just to good and any deck that has the space
Mannadium and Scareclaw can still use him since their deck has other targets

I do. It never shows up when I need it, and always shows when I don't.
Unironically based and soulful.

Labrynth deserves more direct hits for being a stun deck for it's entire lifespan.
Agree, ban D-Barrier
And runick is fine without the stun cards, yet it has a bunch of goofy semis.
>runick without stun cards
No such thing
no everyone hates runick regardless of floodgates
literally every card game out there hates defensive, stally mill decks
adding furries or plants doesn't make it more fun to face a deck that banishes your important one off
deck's literally more irritating than sky striker when it was good, frick runick
I wouldn't give a frick about Runick if they banned all the floodgates but Konami is absolutely committed to Yugioh being back to back stun mirrors
runick is gay as long as it banishes cards and it has that homosexual hugin protect entire backrow from cards like HFD
>b-but milling is legitimate strategy
its gay and it encourages usage of floodgates
In a game without resources, attacking deck directly is fricking awful, you cant even stall till draw the out because its banished. Not mention that Runick have enough speed to draw every floodgate under the sun and fountain to enable plays from hand.
Its fricking awful and go completely against most of game.
its fine without dbarrier

What cards are cheap in the TCG but expensive in the OCG?
promos maybe. in TCG some of them ported into normal booster pack and low rarity while in jp you might need to subscribe jump / buy some book
Older cards that still see play. OCG doesn't reprint as much as TCG. OCG is cheap to keep up with and then those cards actually will appreciate in value, while TCG will eventually reprint SP dropping the price by 90%. Often right as the card start losing meta relevance.
What?
Is today opposite day?
OCG is still cheaper over all, but if you're a dirt poor budget player you can build a playable deck for locals for cheaper in the TCG, especially when good SDs like the current Fire Kings SD are out.
they're all free on master duel, why even buy paper
He didn't ask about that, you gay. Imagine this, people actually enjoy playing in person for various reasons. And people even enjoy collecting. It takes some real weird autism to hate playing cards while playing a simulator of those same playing cards.
he tried to stir shitposts but you btfo'd him so he moved the goalpost
Before RC25th, Knightmare Unicorn was a $33 card in the OCG because they didn't reprint it in Genesis Impact.
Generally the most major differences between the OCG and TCG is that OCG makes cards easy to get to start but rarely ever reprints anything and throws a lot of stuff behind promotions and bundles with non-card products, while TCG makes cards extremely difficult to get to start but reprints the living shit out of them later and almost never has any sort of functional promo card anymore, instead putting the OCG promo cards into core boosters as pack filler.
I got one for like 4 bucks in a pack

MASTER DUEL JUST RELEASED… ITS FIRST GOOD BANLIST?

dogmatika was a literal 5 UR maindeck archetype before, with about 7 in the ED depending on your nadir toolkit, and now it's an 11 UR maindeck archetype with an extra set of 4 in the ED (2 Lulu, Albion, Mirrorjade).
Konami can hit all they like.
Stunchads will never go away.
Name an extra deck monster that is used in a bunch of decks EXCEPT the archetype is belongs to.
What is, Salamangreat Almiraj?
Chengying.
Barrone
That implies Sherry's deck is a thing
If you squint, Synchrons is also a Sherry deck, and did run Fleur Synchron over Satellite before Assault was released.
I think Synchrons do run Baronne but don't summon her unless it's Adventure Synchron.
Sherry.dek is actually a thing.
Fleur as a deck basically just summons Baronne every turn. Remember, she has effects other than the negate. There is a REASON she's so good, she was supposed to be the boss of an utter failure of a deck.
>she was supposed to be the boss of an utter failure of a deck.
You believe this? That they just accidentally made her generic?
No, she was made generic to sell packs.
But she IS factually the boss of the Fleur deck. Basically it just recycles Baronne every turn and maybe throws out Chevalier sometimes. I built it once but it's too expensive in MD because I'm not using Sauge for anything else.
>Basically it just recycles Baronne every turn

No she's not. There is no "Fleur deck". It's not an archetype and there's no coherent deck around the few fleur cards. She's simply an entirely generic lvl 10 synchro that happens to reference a character from the anime.
There actually is.
It's a series, but so is Trains.
She really is the boss of the Fleur deck, I'm sorry you don't believe it exists but it is actually a deck.
https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Fleur
The deck is supposed to destroy it's own cards to put Fleur Synchron and either Centaur Mina or Sauge de Fleur on the field to summon Baronne and resummon her every turn to refresh the negate.
https://www.masterduelmeta.com/tier-list/deck-types/Fleur
https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/sherry-leblanc-anime-hypothetical-deck-310077

LEDE-JP011 Snake-Eyes Diabellstar
THE YEAR OF FIRE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OVER WHAT THE FRICK YOU DRUNK SEXY HOBO CONTROL YOUR FRICKING PET

Is it me or does runick bystal feel less consistent than runick naturia?
It is. But playing it feels so clean and I can't stop.
So what's the benefit of playing runick bystal over it? the only thing I see is having more duality targets
So basically it's just more fun, stylish and can actually do something going second?
Basically yeah.
Josh has actually sort of talked about this. He thinks runick naturia is probably still the better variant in MD. The main reason he played bystial runick is because Sacred tree is limited in TCG
"Josh" is fat, and a homosexual.
While that may be true, the dude does know his runicks
Joshua Schit still got carried at World's by Quantal
>He thinks runick naturia is probably still the better variant in MD. The main reason he played bystial runick is because Sacred tree is limited in TCG
Ok that makes way more sense.
>mannadium can make naturia beast using fearless and lv3 scareclaw

>homosexuals want adventure back
>1 card bounce, negate and 4700 damage
why
So is there really nothing I can do about Bystials just banishing my shit? Is there no handtrap that counters them at all? I just have to sit there and take it?
Have you tried not using a deck that plays into them? moron
Bystials do not banish as cost.
It's not a cost. Stop just calling random shit costs.
Bystials target as cost and banish as effect, so they can be countered by Ghost Belle.
moron.
>Sure, just let me never play light or darks ever again.
Thunder Dragons are the one chaos deck that don't care that much about Bystials, since neither Roar or Hawk target and banishing them from the GY triggers effects.
Metaphys would gladly pay those summon costs
She also counters CBT allowing Maxx C/Ash to resolve.
This is a good meta to be running Ghost Belle.
Ghost Belle is the obvious option but running her just for Bystials seems a bit much.
Ok, you answered my question.
Do what I do and play decks that don't have light or dark monsters
Ghost belle and chaos hunter
what are you even playing?
When Are we getting the red archfiend structure deck?
Not him, but I just got back from dinner and read your posts. I've already gave Ganker 2 or 3 lines of branded play w/o brafu
. Brafu is an amazing card, yes but I've already cut it out form my deck due to fusion lock.
Here's a vid about it please ignore that I forgot dumping Granguignol with High Spirits and fused into Chimera lol https://streamable.com/4m0qo1
Holy bricka
I mean yeah, Quem is your best shot to imperm/veiler/ash. If Quem goes through, it's basically a full gas just like turn 3.
You can cut grass out of it and nothing really changed. It's not like branded got full potential of grass anyway.
Seconding that other anon. This list is terrible. The only good decision here is running 3x Cartesia since she's your best starter.

The card that can save and kill Yu-Gi-Oh.
How often does konami give new support to old archetypes?
Every year.
Every set usually?
Literally every main set + every Animation Chronicle + more often than not with Structure Decks + other packs + whenever they feel like. So constantly every year.
Some archetypes will probably never get touched again, like Gustos or Thunder Dragons. Others get support every year like Striker.
>Duel Terminal archetype
>Never getting cards again
Qliphorts were an actually good Pendulum archetype, but it was slow and control oriented not coombo sloppa so no wonder Pendgays hate it
>Duel Terminal Archetypes
Still waiting for the Worm and Flamvell timelines and support
>Flamvell
you're already forgotten and replaced by neo-flamvell who
That argument no longer hold water after the new wave of Genex support aren’t Genex Ally monsters
Thunder Dragons never getting support again is a good thing.
normal summon aleister
>duel against a mathmech moron that negated his own teraheartz with Baronne
>After I get rid of his cards he starts stalling as much as possible since I couldn't otk with my hand
>Lost my connection while he was wasting his turn doing nothing
Frick all stalling morons that get wins of shit like this.
What is the purpose of Etermakina Carnor? This seems like a really useless anti-handtrap that just dumps a 4k beater on the field.
It's 100% going to be UR in MD so I'd like the reasoning as to why, this is Phantom Nightmare's generic elite monster akin to Beargram or Zeus.
Train support
they have zero issue dumping L10 machines on the board though
Does having one more hurt?
yes, it's not Earth
makes me sad
>played by the biggest cuck on entire YGO series
you might be onto something, anon.
And if it wasn't clear, just the smaller list.
Cool, hopefully you're right so that it takes up a UR slot that could've gone to a good card instead. And then hopefully none of us pull it.
Stop cursing me with shit luck
Tri-Brigade can use their Link better than Ancient Warriors can
Beatdown archetypes have no place in the modern metagame.
>Negate with high Caeser.

It’ll be UR and the deck will brick unless they’re Royals
cute question
dont look at traptrix ED
nice just in time for bed
Goodnight
Please for the love of god give us new game modes.
Adding stuff like Edison would probably make them more money too because it would give people a reason to blow gems on secret packs for old archetypes no one plays anymore.
You could even appeal to nostalgia gays by naming the formats after the anime. Imagine how many boomers would cum in their pants if they added a "battle city" format or something.
I hope they do something like "Fusion Classic", "Syncro Classic", and
"XYZ Classic" this year instead of repeating the Fusion/Synchro/Xyz Festivals.
How many years to we have to wait until full power Tears come off the banlist?
Merrli might come off sooner than most expect. For everything to come off though.... Idk. I doubt that the Ishizu millers will ever come off.
Pspercucks won't be seeing Kitkallos for roughly half a decade or more though. See Ib.
The problem with Merrli is that she still gives Tears a third fusion from GY, I could see her coming out of the banlist only if Havnis and Scheiren also get limited while keeping the Ishizu millers permanently banned.
Tears needs three fusions in order to properly function. It's how the deck was designed.
Me no like deck so you deserve no three fusions.
That would be cool and all if the deck wasn't allowed to fuse on the opponent's turn too, especially when they have easy access to shit like Winda and Dragostapela above the already summoned Rullkalos and Kaleido-Heart.
>Synchrons need 4 free tuners in order to properly function. It's how the deck was designed.
Synchrons were not an actual deck before Junk Speeder.
Junk Doppel only needed 2 tuners, Level 1 and Junk Synchron. Every other tuner was in the Extra Deck.
Tear could function even if it just made kitkallos and searched a trap every turn.
Disagree. The deck has so much more flexibility and consistency with Kitkallos legal instead of banning her and keeping Merli. I much prefer playing tear now even with just the two fusers as opposed to some gamble brain nonsense where you have a higher ceiling but only if you hit jackpot
merrli is still too strong in conjuction with sprind and elf
Anon... Wyverburster is dead, MD will take away small engine pieces and they'll do it again for the next engine...

It's not complicated, you can figure it out by looking

I've been out of the loop for about a year and a half, i heard that there was some archetype about a villainess or something like that is this it?
That's very vague, but the OP pic is of a Fur Hire card. You're probably talking about Labrynth or Diabellestar.
The only other thing i remember hearing was that she's a dinosaur girl.

Any tips to improve this dogmatika build? Also I love Ultimate Slayer Ultimate Slayer is my best friend
Is there a reason for playing random almiraj though? You don't have gardna to put it in graveyard in case your diviner get ashed with maximus in hand.
I've tried that before but found it matters less when blind seconding compared to having another ED slot to put another dump monster in as a slayer target, and the times I've bricked on maximus after diviner gets blocked hasn't come up very often
Oh and almiraj has been pretty useful by itself in preventing alba zoa from dying to a stray non-ED destruction too
I mean if you want a link target. It feels like ferjitt the barren womb is better since it can mulligan your hand a bit at least.
ED is fine.
I'll try him out
Dogra's an interesting idea, but he's not a bystial target like diviner is. I'll definitely find space for a couple of evenlys though.
>going second
Add Evenly
Drop 1 Kalamity
Drop Central
Diviner is fine but Gale Dogra is more efficient
Actually I just noticed dogra can't be ashed, I'll definitely replace diviner then
you don't use white knight? it's dogmatika's unicorn
It's been super useful in almost every situation I've drawn into it and is honestly my preferred TTThrust target nowadays
No pre-prep?

Should I play Master Duel or Duel Links? Which one requires less knowledge of the current anime series lore? I collected cards and watched the OG anime as a kid but now I just wanna play sum focking You-Gee-Ow
Neither
>Should I play Master Duel or Duel Links?
Legends of Runeterra, no need to thank me
LoL is gay
U R GAY
Master duel is the best online card game for the simple fact that the camera is slightly canted towards the opponent's field as if you're actually overlooking a table instead of the egregious direct overhead view all other card games seem to use
..and yet, game itself is who goes first and make 1000 billion negates turn 1.
The fact that you thought that webm looked cool speaks to how gay and trash that game probably is.
Meanwhile (You) cream your pants over this garbage

Any cool sidedeck cards that grant evasion?
Pic not entirely related. It doesn't have to be a monster. Any field spells in particular?
Forbidden Lance, it's bad though
Book of Moon can be used to dodge targeting negates in some scenarios by flipping your own monster, but it's also not very good
Non engine in yugioh just isn't really worth running in general unless it has a huge blowout effect that can turn the game around
Explain to me why Ultimate Offering can't be unbanned to 1
Normal summon a monster from your hand on a trap card sounds slow as shit
It could go to 3 and no serious deck would play it.
Redpill me on the new SHS support as an engine. What does it bring to the table to non-SHS decks?
if you play go 2nd deck or board breaker or draw no handtrap, get prepared to get ftked, SHS still has access to several ftk engine that are still legal in MD
You get to set up pend scales and you can get a Baroness/mats without a normal summon
I feel odd strain of mental illness coming to me.
I feel like you could mash Visas shit with d-link. Like just go up to dragon ravine and then pop romulus to dip into visas stuff before coming back to dragons.
ED slot too tight, feel free to cooking though
My mind went for
>Dlink until romulus search ravine
>pop romulus to summon visas
>Visas link to LightHeart
>Field spell for Reichheart
>Special Reichheart, search Arrival
>Arrival visas to end with lvl 4 and lvl 6 tuner with ravine and boot sector in hand.
It feels "free" and not too deck or ED heavy but as bricky as the deck is do I really want a cards that only interact on assumption that I manage to destroy a dragon to get visas out...
>waahh first turn advantage waaaaahh
>IESLB
Done.
IGPX archetype?
It's Gold Pride support
finally, gay porn archetype

looks pretty good
Cool cards but probably a 1 off at most, the problem is Assasinator does nothing on their turn like Leo or Roller so it's more of a combo piece that requires a GP part to work but if you use it's effect then you can't use it to link/xyz/synchro with it except for a GP and given the levels of the archetype you are just summoning Annihilator with it which looks cool but it's basically a worse Star Leon.
It does increase the potential endboard ceiling of the archetype so I appreciate that but the restriction on Assasinator sucks since it would be really good if I could summon a generic level 8 with it, might become better if they release other GP synchro/links/xyz monsters.
I fricking hate when they do this shit.
>archetype comes to MD
>immediately reveal cool new shit for that archetype that won't come to MD for a year
what are some lean engines to strap onto a pet deck? psi reflector? invoked? predaplant?
adventure
wraithsoth fenrir unicorn birth
3 Impulse and fire attacker
Ka$h money is notoriously tiny and almost endlessly splashable
Bystials are potentially even more compact at their smallest but are more specific in what decks they can be used
>6 months after bystials debut
>finally perfect the deck ratios
>chaos ruler gets banned
it's been fun Gankerbros...back to Ganker for me
When?
february end of month pack
normal pack will be 5ds theme
I can't get excited for new archetypes coming to MD because they all lose to the maxx c minigame all the same.
Chimera can play around Maxx "C" decently well.
>Durrrr I lose maybe 1 in 10 games because I can't into resource managing and only play all or nothing decks so I must whine endlessly!
Then leave
There is rescue-ace.
i keep forgetting these are even a thing
Branded Fusion at 1 so they won't do shit anyway.
>Branded Fusion at 1 so they won't do shi-
NAH, I'D FUSE.
Runick Chimera is a thing
Is this the first "cards that Yugi played" archetype done well?
poker knights support is good
anniversary
can't think of any other way to introduce the illusion type
>opponent ashing rota in diamond
this is why VS is considered t1?
B-but what if the rest of your hand were 2 ash and 2 maxx c?
lower power level overall than tier meta allows a deck that relies on a one-time raigeki and two destroys to get by. additionally has draw power and very good burn potential.
It's not? New set probably kick them out of tier list just like floowandereeze. It's a honest petdeck afterall.
>Power: 27.5
>second place: 9
lmao just call it Tier 0 at that point, it's clear that nothing can compete with Branded anyways
shut up moron branded is the most honest petdeck ever
>Call it tier 0
>Muh fanfiction tier list
You're top moron.
based downplayer throwing konami glowies off his scent
I'm not saying the deck isn't strong.
I'm calling you a fricking moron by taking Dkayed's meme tier list as anything worth thinking about. Stupid fricking dumbass.
What drives people to believe Phantom Knights are still viable? They're so fricking bad.
testing the water for terrortop
I'll give it two weeks before people realize it's trash then abandon it again. They do it every other format.
It's a slop.dek. They probably will be under the banner of superheavyslop when the pack drops.
>Branded Despia
Can they really call it that when the only "Despia" cards they ever run are Aluber and sometimes Quaeritis?
dogmatika card THOUGH
and tragedy, and somtime ad libitum,
Maybe this doesn't count but quem and branded banishment
Quem is a Despia (and Dogmatika), but it really should be called BrandedBystial or just Albaz.dek
TCGBROS
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
So are they gonna make a snake eyes structure deck at this rate? It feels really weird that every fricking fire card that's half decent is worth $40+ in TCG now
Just like literally everything in the TCG, it will get reprinted out the ass and be worth only pennies after about a year.
mate isn't this 4500 yen in OCG?
Yeah. Its one of the most expensive cards in the meta.
4500 yen is like 25 USD. It's like double that price in TCG, and nowhere near the most expensive card.
>Ofc FREE is better than NOT FREE.
lmao, you don't even own your cards on MD. it will disappear along the server when time come
only a problem if you're a moron who spent money on MD to begin with
I don't really care.
Cuck.
If I wanna buy cards, I'll buy OCG. Better quality. Cheaper.
If I wanna play Yu-Gi-Oh, I'll play MD.
TCG is for idiots with Stockholm Syndrome.
4500¥ is awful. But not 65£ awful.
still terrible
use kash in comparison
or better, kurikara
anyway md thread
>8-9 UR per box that costs 4500¥
proof
My bad, 5280¥ is retail, you can get them for 4500¥ on discount frequently (see Amazon).
https://www.yugioh-card.com/japan/products/lede/
You can do the math yourself, 176¥ per pack, x360 packs a box.

Because some people are too lazy to open links.
>Booster box at 1/3 the price
FRICKING WHAT?!. That shit is like 100 dollars here Jesus Christ
I TOLD you. It's an indefensible full blown scam. The fact that people ACTUALLY defend the TCG is straight up rage inducing. I get not having a choice, but defending that shit?
There's a REASON there's separate banlist, and it's cause KoA knows they can get away with it.
the TCG banlist is better
not that, but OCG only has 4 UR per box
It's like that.
well yeah but bonfire is a bad example because it's still expensive in OCG
stick to SP or Spoils instead of trying to say 4500y isn't awful
Jap explains TCG card nicknames
lmao hilarious stuff watching the anti-TCG schizo discovering that expensive cards exist in the OCG and going on a meltdown
I literally live in Japan jackass. I'm not going to take lip from TCG secondaries making up lies about the OCG. Sit the frick down. You're at the bottom of the food chain.
go talk to japanese people then instead of wallowing in the mud among pigs telling them how nice it is outside the farm
