Duelist Cup is the ultra tryhard event. You bring your sweatiest deck and try to beat your opponent's ultra sweatlord deck for points. Placing in higher ranks the month before the cup just gives you a head start. If you hit DL lvl 20 before the listed date, then you advance to stage 2 where you get to play against even people who haven't showered in a month with alternate music. After the cup, the leaderboard gets posted for those who made it to stage 2 and everyone jacks off the japanese P.U.N.K player.
Always be prepared for the Runick matchup in stage 1 regardless of the meta.

the tldr is Visas is a man who woke up empty, without any memories or emotions, and travels different worlds where he finds different "hearts", the emotions that he lost in a human shape taking control of each world. So far we had scareclaw (fear), tearlaments (sadness) and kashtira (anger), and I believe the fourth one is based on happiness

I genuinely think that pack pulls have a sort of comeback mechanic, the longer you play the game without opening packs the higher rate you have for pulling URs, and the more you pull the less chance you have of getting high rarity cards.
I mostly base this off of my experience with pack pulls and the fact that it probably pushes whales into spending more money,

How volatile would the game become if we could summon our mates but if they leave the field by ANY means (if they are bounced / spun, turned into XYZ material, etc), you lose the duel.

This all could be done without using the normal summon as long as you have any wyrm card in hand (even without wyrm card you just miss out on the Counter trap option)
Do you really need three? I managed to get one copy in 2k gems and the deckspace is already too tight, I pretty much just removed one Impermanence to make space for it.
Hard to explain, the deck is all about adjusting to your opponent's deck and playing around it, along constant card recycling to recover your hand size after using the furnitures. D. Barrier is always a safe bet but nowadays Daruma Cannon is a great choice to search too. I'm considering removing EEV since Purrely can just use their quick effects and immediately recover afterwards.

Lovely makes your opponent unable to respond to your traps with monster effects, Lady is immune to targetting and destruction when a card is set on your field (meaning any card, not only traps). Try to recycle Cooclock as much as possible so you can use the traps you search with Lady ASAP and remember that her search effect is a "when", so you have to activate it as soon as a trap is flipped.

Building a full deck from a Secret Pack will usually be anywhere from 4-8k depending on luck and the amount of URs you need
Selection Packs tend to have more shit in so people hoard for 10k to pull on those.
Spending 1000 at a time is almost never worth it. Also you should never spend your last 1000 simply because the game can israelite you with 0 URs, and you'll get a guaranteed UR in the NEXT 10 pack. So always keep 1k in case your last pull is a israelite pull so you have an emergency one left over.

I forgot how fricking good Thrust is because MD has rotted my brain. Not about Branded in particular but adding Nadir Servant to my hand in Dogmatika. It's like playing with 12 copies of Ecclesia in a going second build and 9 of the copies get me other good shit.
The deck is harder to pilot than people think.
Ideally turn 1 is >plump with 6 mats, 3 of which being sleepy >field spell, cont spell, and leap all on the field >opponents standby draw 3, then use leap to go into 7 mat noir to draw 3 more
Now you have an untargetable noir that can use its effect once without losing its protection, plus 6 cards some of which are handtraps.The continous spell is important because it gives you recovery if you get kaijued.
Going second beauty baits out 2 interruptions because >sleepy yoink >then quick effect negate
Epurrely happiness is your otk tool, its battle phase effect is not opt and delicious memory can target your opponents monsters as well.
Beauty also has a battle position change effect to force opponents weakest monster into attack position.
If you miss lethal and you still have a big Noir up use it to make zeus, leap will bounce it during thr EP if you don't.
Get your field spell up if you can, it stops targeting your SPECIAL summoned purrely, not normal summoned.
Don't hard focus into it though if you don't have the resources.
What's gonna happen to Kash in MD I wonder?
OCG was pretty merciless banning Fenrir entirely and Unicorn to 1, but MD made them both UR so I can't see them getting hit too much.
They already took the TCG approach of banning Diablosis, but then also did the OCG limits of Field Spell and TearKash so frick knows at this point.
I don't think Pathfinder is long for this world. I guess all those random cope lvl 7s like Nessie, Ascended and Instant Contact might take hits. Otherwise what's left? Birth is the only major card they have that's not UR and I'd be more than happy if that card fricked off forever.
Kash without Diablosis is just okayish so far
It suck against them if you don't have board breaker, but single Imperm against Ariseheart can win you the game as long as you doesn't brick or fold from single banish from Fenrir.

It's not really 'the out' though, it's more like ANY out.
Compared to something like Tear where you have to open a semi-limited Shifter or lose the game, having to simple open any boardbreaker/kaiju in the entire game it's far more reliable.
Against other deck just open the out oftentimes is not enough, you also need to bait their negate this not even counting further degeneracy such as Maxxsneed you during standby or draw phase, then using one of their omninegate to ensure it resolved.
But against Kash you can just use your out and they can't do anything about it

TCG had to deal with full power Kash for a long time. MD has a bunch of pre-hits and the OCG hit the deck quickly, so it was only the TCG who had to put up with it's bullshit for a long period of time.
Because much like Tear, MDbabbys never got to and never will experience full power Kashtira. You never had your meta warped around Kash consistently making Diablosis and everyone doubling up on important ED cards and tripling up on certain main deck cards praying they don't get banished before you can even touch them. Shifter is also semi limited in MD, but Diablosis with Ariseheart is so fricking cancerous. Not that Kash still isn't warping the meta because Ariseheart is a consistent Macro on legs and shuts down so many cards that need to send for cost.
Thinking about it a bit more, I think it makes sense Kash would perform much better in the TCG
Propi being at 3 is probably a big reason. It + 3 field spells makes the deck significantly more consistent and the deck interacts with propsi in cancerous ways like making Arise-heart immune to disctruction.
There's other small things too, like Kashtira unironically gets fricked over by Maxx C way more than other decks because they can't use it at all with Arise-heart on the field, so if you go first it barely does anything and it takes up deck space.
I think hits to Prosp is probably the only thing that MD and OCG do right (along with the Ishizu hits). Card should be outright banned in TCG. It's not even consistency in some decks, it's more like materialize that exact card you were looking for because you already ran through a third of your deck and the math is in your favor. I never used to feel this way about Prosp but more and more I think it's lopsidedly too good in some decks and people defending it because >muh shitdeck needs it

Even before Kash lost Fenrir they were like the 5th best deck. This is from around the time they still had Fenrir and Unicorn but they were hit. They probably got hit moreso because their gameplan was devolving into a super degen way rather than being oppresive. They were crutching on shifter and Diablosis and in this case TCBOO.
Mind you that even today Diablosis is completely untouched in the OCG
They might be able to get away with just some consistency hits due to Diablosis being banned

I feel like in kash it's better to run more things like tactics/thrust instead. With kash running the meta atm being able to change of heart arise and overlay onto your own arise is such a huge swing and much more impactful than kurikara

Having Ariseheart is good obviously, but the deck can still put a respectable board with Shangrira, Unicorn, Fenrir, Ogre and Scareclaw.
I'm playing Purrely because I don't like how Kashtira plays, plus it was super expensive. Might switch it up to Mikanko though, playing into Kashtira boards is really obnoxious unless you open Street. I wanted to play a little Dragon Link but the deck doesn't have a ton of room for board breakers after the mandatory bug package and playing with no graveyard in that deck is hell.
I'm in largely the same boat just I'm not a Dragon Link enjoyer. I don't hate it, it's just not for me. Purrely is the only top deck to me that feels somewhat fun to play, isn't super linear, and doesn't feel like moron-mode like Kash and Lab. This format is extrmely unfun overall though.

Duelist Cup is the ultra tryhard event. You bring your sweatiest deck and try to beat your opponent's ultra sweatlord deck for points. Placing in higher ranks the month before the cup just gives you a head start. If you hit DL lvl 20 before the listed date, then you advance to stage 2 where you get to play against even people who haven't showered in a month with alternate music. After the cup, the leaderboard gets posted for those who made it to stage 2 and everyone jacks off the japanese P.U.N.K player.
Always be prepared for the Runick matchup in stage 1 regardless of the meta.

the tldr is Visas is a man who woke up empty, without any memories or emotions, and travels different worlds where he finds different "hearts", the emotions that he lost in a human shape taking control of each world. So far we had scareclaw (fear), tearlaments (sadness) and kashtira (anger), and I believe the fourth one is based on happiness

Only if there’s another monster on the field. If Daruma Cannon fails to flip a monster facedown, the second part of the effect wont resolve. This means if it has 7+ materials, it can just chain and spin your monster.
Lady will more often than not be untargetable. If you're not playing it in lab then yeah that's a problem.
basically. noir with 5 or more materials is unaffected by the opponent's activated effects, so it is not changed to face-down by the effect of daruma. as long as at least 1 OTHER MONSTER was changed to face-down, each player must then send all of their face-up monsters to the gy. the monsters are not sent to the gy by the effect of daruma, they’re sent by the player. noir will be sent to the gy as a result.

Hard to explain, the deck is all about adjusting to your opponent's deck and playing around it, along constant card recycling to recover your hand size after using the furnitures. D. Barrier is always a safe bet but nowadays Daruma Cannon is a great choice to search too. I'm considering removing EEV since Purrely can just use their quick effects and immediately recover afterwards.

Building a full deck from a Secret Pack will usually be anywhere from 4-8k depending on luck and the amount of URs you need
Selection Packs tend to have more shit in so people hoard for 10k to pull on those.
Spending 1000 at a time is almost never worth it. Also you should never spend your last 1000 simply because the game can israelite you with 0 URs, and you'll get a guaranteed UR in the NEXT 10 pack. So always keep 1k in case your last pull is a israelite pull so you have an emergency one left over.

Get your field spell up if you can, it stops targeting your SPECIAL summoned purrely, not normal summoned.

OCG was pretty merciless banning Fenrir entirely and Unicorn to 1, but MD made them both UR so I can't see them getting hit too much.
They already took the TCG approach of banning Diablosis, but then also did the OCG limits of Field Spell and TearKash so frick knows at this point.
I don't think Pathfinder is long for this world. I guess all those random cope lvl 7s like Nessie, Ascended and Instant Contact might take hits. Otherwise what's left? Birth is the only major card they have that's not UR and I'd be more than happy if that card fricked off forever.
Kash without Diablosis is just okayish so far

It's not really 'the out' though, it's more like ANY out.
Compared to something like Tear where you have to open a semi-limited Shifter or lose the game, having to simple open any boardbreaker/kaiju in the entire game it's far more reliable.
Against other deck just open the out oftentimes is not enough, you also need to bait their negate this not even counting further degeneracy such as Maxxsneed you during standby or draw phase, then using one of their omninegate to ensure it resolved.
But against Kash you can just use your out and they can't do anything about it

TCG had to deal with full power Kash for a long time. MD has a bunch of pre-hits and the OCG hit the deck quickly, so it was only the TCG who had to put up with it's bullshit for a long period of time.

You never had your meta warped around Kash consistently making Diablosis and everyone doubling up on important ED cards and tripling up on certain main deck cards praying they don't get banished before you can even touch them. Shifter is also semi limited in MD, but Diablosis with Ariseheart is so fricking cancerous. Not that Kash still isn't warping the meta because Ariseheart is a consistent Macro on legs and shuts down so many cards that need to send for cost.

Thinking about it a bit more, I think it makes sense Kash would perform much better in the TCG
Propi being at 3 is probably a big reason. It + 3 field spells makes the deck significantly more consistent and the deck interacts with propsi in cancerous ways like making Arise-heart immune to disctruction.
There's other small things too, like Kashtira unironically gets fricked over by Maxx C way more than other decks because they can't use it at all with Arise-heart on the field, so if you go first it barely does anything and it takes up deck space.
I think hits to Prosp is probably the only thing that MD and OCG do right (along with the Ishizu hits). Card should be outright banned in TCG. It's not even consistency in some decks, it's more like materialize that exact card you were looking for because you already ran through a third of your deck and the math is in your favor. I never used to feel this way about Prosp but more and more I think it's lopsidedly too good in some decks and people defending it because

Even before Kash lost Fenrir they were like the 5th best deck. This is from around the time they still had Fenrir and Unicorn but they were hit. They probably got hit moreso because their gameplan was devolving into a super degen way rather than being oppresive. They were crutching on shifter and Diablosis and in this case TCBOO.
Mind you that even today Diablosis is completely untouched in the OCG

Having Ariseheart is good obviously, but the deck can still put a respectable board with Shangrira, Unicorn, Fenrir, Ogre and Scareclaw.
I'm playing Purrely because I don't like how Kashtira plays, plus it was super expensive. Might switch it up to Mikanko though, playing into Kashtira boards is really obnoxious unless you open Street. I wanted to play a little Dragon Link but the deck doesn't have a ton of room for board breakers after the mandatory bug package and playing with no graveyard in that deck is hell.
I'm in largely the same boat just I'm not a Dragon Link enjoyer. I don't hate it, it's just not for me. Purrely is the only top deck to me that feels somewhat fun to play, isn't super linear, and doesn't feel like moron-mode like Kash and Lab. This format is extrmely unfun overall though.
