Fluffal is one of those decks people don't explore enough. I played the loaner against the lab loaner in that one event, and it was surprising how much you could do with it.
You can absolutely do crazy things with it once the ball gets rolling. And there are a lot of variants to the deck too. Like the Ishizu version that was being messed with when those cards were legal, or the one that uses Herald with Spright Elf, or the Necrofusion turbo variant. One of the most fun decks to play since you can constantly find new lines and have to improvise on the spot thanks to all the randomness with mills and draws. And it does all this while still using Polymerization as its primary method of fusion while being able to resolve it several times a turn.
Just sucks that there are SO many good cards for the deck that it feels impossible to fit it all in a consistent deck alongside staples.
You're probably thinking of Giant Skyhawk who has topped tournaments with it a few times as well as with Dinos. But he quit Yugioh a couple weeks because the price of Fire meta is too expensive.
I could've bought it being meta-worthy on MD's release with Toad and VFD legal. Though I'm not entirely sure the VFD build was actually better than spamming other generics. But power creep's been crazy since then.
Also it's unironically one of the hardest decks to master in my opinion.

Next you can normal summon ash grab poplar grab spell make unicorn spin the shenshen and then use your normal spell to summon oak and go from there

Last year I swapped out Archfiend in Dragon Link and got to play A Hero Lives with Gate Guardian. Bingo Machine was useless.
Now I get to swap out Dark Templar with a shiny version and run a T.G. engine as Denglong turbo (with a garnet in Screw Serpent). Rank Up Magic cards are unplayable.
Mine were okay, but I already had a royal Chaos Angel. Crystal Beast shit is pointless. I got a Hyper Librarian in the same pack that I got a royal Hyper Librarian.
When are these buttholes going to add more customization options for playing with friends in your own lobbies? All they need to do is add options to let you draw on the first turn and priority and so many older formats become available. Maybe even let you play with old erratas but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Unless you're on Runick or Pend this card seems fun to play against. Setting a bunch of spells to bait the pop and then flipping the important ones sounds satisfying. Far more fun than Anti-spell or Secret Village at least.

I'm gonna tell you some secret Labrynth tech. Play one copy of Storm Dragon's Return, that way if Lovely gets banished you can search the trap with Lady to get her on the field.
Labrynth is the most fun deck to pull off moronic sekrit tek in, I love how this pretty deck lets you pull off bullshit like searching Gameciel off your effect discard and bouncing it back after using it, or summoning a divine beast off an otherwise difficult to use trap.

It's super consistent, you're running like 15 handtraps, and you may as well play it while you wait for the FK/R-ace cards to drop and give you an actually impactful endboard.

Every tier 1 deck is super consistent and from what I've seen the 1 card combo loses to ash/imperm unlike SHS where you can't stop normal summon soulpiercer combo with just ash/imperm
If snake eyes stops your turn you lost. Your turn will be stopped by princess, baronne, 3200 apollousa, handtraps drawn off the wanted/formula. The deck gains advantage on every turn and it’s overwhelming. Even after you negated their entire hand they can still banish original sin for kurikara and otk you. It’s a deck designed to burn you out and tuck your key monsters so they’re useless. It’s also hard as frick to kill from all the special summons on your turn and graveyard battle effects from amblowhale
You achieve that board off 1 card and you go +infinite off it. It's enough disruption/bodies to stop you from dying against anything relevant especially when it's backed by the infinite handtraps the deck can run. The opponent can't realistically kill you and when you get to t3 you have infinite resources to crack back at them and kill them. I:P can go into a big Apollo too which you can protect from battle with Linkuriboh, which basically ensures the opponent can't kill you.
14k gems to get an alt apollousa and it was the last fricking card in the last fricking pack

Not bad, I've been meaning to build an @Ignister cyberse pile for a while so the royal Arrival is nice, and Arc Rebellion is a decent Rank 4 staple. Alternative would be nice if I ever decide to buy the Blue Eyes Structure since I'm gonna get the bundle. Melody to add two royals is a Kaiba style move.

Light protection with the field spell
Main deck book of eclipse just autowins some times. A handful of situational negates/interruptions that actually come up once you learn how to play the deck.
Ninjas are a good, genuine control deck. Sadly if your traps get interrupted you usually just lose on the spot. Also like most rogue decks if your opponent knows what they actually do your win chances plummet.

Something that lets you grab the field spell without going minus on other options would be nice too. The fact you cant even go into saizo most hands without gimping your endboard hurts.

Yeah, and then when you get Ash'd out of searching it you can Thrust for it. And if you already have it you Thrust for an extra trap or TTT. You don't need to run it, but it's undeniably a good inclusion for the deck.

Okay, you have a few options. One, Swordsoul. Probably the best and cheapest. The main combos are incredibly basic, but that's fine. It will get you into the basic flow of the game, and you'll have your hands full reading what your opponent's cards do anyway. You can get the structure by looking at the past threads for codes.
Ninja and Lab are also options, but they are harder to play, and (in lab's case) way more expensive).

No but going first is heavily favored. Also if you mean LITERAL FTKs those are almost never meta, and are fragile gimmick decks.
Both players are usually playing on turn one at least to some extent. Yugioh games have low turn counts but very dense turns that a lot of back and forth can happen each individual turn.

The Utopia FTK is consistent, it isn't easily disrupted unless you wait to imperm on your turn

That's a heavy exaggeration and not true at all. There are decks that will try to just go first and make a combo that effectively wins the game right there yes, but at the same time every deck runs a dozen of Force of Will type cards so they don't necessarily get to go off uncontested.
The best deck in the game right now is very fair in terms of the type of plays it can make turn 1, but it is extremely resilient and has a superior resource engine that overwhelms everyone.

I've been playing her package with Subversion as generic removal + draw and I have to say it's such a nice little engine. Fluffal is one of those decks people don't explore enough. I played the loaner against the lab loaner in that one event, and it was surprising how much you could do with it.
You can absolutely do crazy things with it once the ball gets rolling. And there are a lot of variants to the deck too. Like the Ishizu version that was being messed with when those cards were legal, or the one that uses Herald with Spright Elf, or the Necrofusion turbo variant. One of the most fun decks to play since you can constantly find new lines and have to improvise on the spot thanks to all the randomness with mills and draws. And it does all this while still using Polymerization as its primary method of fusion while being able to resolve it several times a turn.
Just sucks that there are SO many good cards for the deck that it feels impossible to fit it all in a consistent deck alongside staples.

You're probably thinking of Giant Skyhawk who has topped tournaments with it a few times as well as with Dinos. But he quit Yugioh a couple weeks because the price of Fire meta is too expensive.
I could've bought it being meta-worthy on MD's release with Toad and VFD legal. Though I'm not entirely sure the VFD build was actually better than spamming other generics. But power creep's been crazy since then.
Also it's unironically one of the hardest decks to master in my opinion.

If snake eyes stops your turn you lost. Your turn will be stopped by princess, baronne, 3200 apollousa, handtraps drawn off the wanted/formula. The deck gains advantage on every turn and it’s overwhelming. Even after you negated their entire hand they can still banish original sin for kurikara and otk you. It’s a deck designed to burn you out and tuck your key monsters so they’re useless. It’s also hard as frick to kill from all the special summons on your turn and graveyard battle effects from amblowhale
The deck is basically a powercrept version of Tri-Brigade

You achieve that board off 1 card and you go +infinite off it. It's enough disruption/bodies to stop you from dying against anything relevant especially when it's backed by the infinite handtraps the deck can run. The opponent can't realistically kill you and when you get to t3 you have infinite resources to crack back at them and kill them. I:P can go into a big Apollo too which you can protect from battle with Linkuriboh, which basically ensures the opponent can't kill you.

I know they just got a bunch of new shit but I really hope they get another wave of support. Getting some draw power to make use of all the tech cards that require discards would be nice.
Something that lets you grab the field spell without going minus on other options would be nice too. The fact you cant even go into saizo most hands without gimping your endboard hurts.

Okay, you have a few options. One, Swordsoul. Probably the best and cheapest. The main combos are incredibly basic, but that's fine. It will get you into the basic flow of the game, and you'll have your hands full reading what your opponent's cards do anyway. You can get the structure by looking at the past threads for codes.
Ninja and Lab are also options, but they are harder to play, and (in lab's case) way more expensive).

That's a heavy exaggeration and not true at all. There are decks that will try to just go first and make a combo that effectively wins the game right there yes, but at the same time every deck runs a dozen of Force of Will type cards so they don't necessarily get to go off uncontested.
The best deck in the game right now is very fair in terms of the type of plays it can make turn 1, but it is extremely resilient and has a superior resource engine that overwhelms everyone.

You can invest in dark magicians, its just 1500 gems. Just the three structure deck can be an okay strat, though obviously with more investment is can be decent, though dont expect to climb too high, as compared to swordsoul.
As for heroes, red eyes and dinosaurs, well, its a mixed bag. You could for sure do that, there is nothing stopping you, but yours gems could be better spent elsewhere. Still, if you did wanna play some heroes or red eyes, or dinos, what have you, just stick with one and look up some budget guides to start of with for now.
New players should really stick with one deck first instead of going wide and making 3 half built ones
DM isnt good but does have some stuff and can sometimes bullshit a win on top decks, just not often. At best Rogue but wouldnt say its there. Probably the cheapest to build of these thanks to the structure.
Red eyes has no idea what it wants to be and sucks complete ass.
E-heroes is viable.
Dino's are Probably the best of the lot thanks to Miscellaneousaurus.

Ash on Misc is a turnskip, the deck is fragile
well the deck mostly lives and dies by Misc.
But Misc is absurdly powerful and easily searched, more bullshit than anything else the other 4 have aside maybe dark law.
Dinos is the best out of those and can probably reach M1 with it but you'll need to learn your combo lines. Here's what a decklist looks like.

Before you read too deeply into any of the comments, know that most people judge decks differently and is guiding you to different goals. Judge the responses on what they expect of you and the decks itself before taking their comments seriously.
Some people just wants you to try out more of the game before making any hard decisions like dumping all your hard earned gems into a meta deck. Some people just want you to climb all the way to the top of the ladder. etc etc. It is best if you clarify your goals, current skill, prior experience, prefered playstyle, etc etc when asking for questions, elsewise you get the current situation of conflicting answers
