foil yugioh cards are really hard to counterfeit. MTG however you can build a full legacy deck with fakes and nobody would be able to tell.
You need age up your dual lands to make it seem more real. I threw mine in a shoe box with dirt and mixed it up for a few minutes.

foiled cards are really easy to proxy, actually. You just need a doner card to use for the foiling. That's how etsy karens make a lot of their money, but buying low-value secret rares and turning them into proxies of better cards.

It's funny because it's the roach that fricks with the viability of DRNM and Evenly. I tried to use Evenly many times in MD, but I always end up giving up on it in favor of other staples because of all the games where I wipe their board then they just Maxx C me in MP2 and win on t3. Giving up your BP into Maxx C is complete suicide.
Your decks just weren't right for it. The issue with Evenly is that it can be easily negated.
At least Evenly resolving means you've actually dealt with the board. DRNM especially gets fricked by the roach since you still need to remove the board after using it and also can't swing for game. Probably the biggest waste of UR dust was making a playset for this clown format.
Evenly has still seen plenty of play in different MD metas. DRNM however is utter trash with the roach around.

players share a timer. if it reaches 0 the player with the least lifepoints loses. your opponent can and will slowplay you so you lose regardless of the current gamestate.

As a previous MTG player, "Thoughtseize" like cards seem necessary to balance out busted combo decks. This card should go back to 3.

Only way I could see this card coming back is as a retrain. You can look at the hand, take a card from it and put it back in the deck but then your opponent gets to grab any card he wants from the deck except the card that was returned. You get to see their hand, get rid of a Maxx C but they might get an Ash or one of their starters for next turn. Ripping a card off the hand and leaving your opponent with less options is just bad.

mekk knight orcust really means orcust with mekk blue and purple as semi free bodies, orcust with scrap and/or a smol phantom knight package (rusty is UR but the rest is R and SR) to get 2 swords (negates) is slightly better, also orcust is literally only 2 UR in the form of 2 girsu (which is a good generic rank 8) idk how absolutely stupid you have to be to not realize that, maybe playing the deck that only has 2-3 UR is a wiser choice than to committing to crafting/pulling 29 UR

Should i spend more resources in swordsoul instead or do i finish crafting the deck i was building? I crafted a protos because it absolutely annihilates most other decks, but the extra needs 3 to 5 URs. I don't think you really need 2 copies of Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare, and you could add a Vesiculo as an additional extender. Also max out your Imperms.
You don't need to run 2 Allomerus and 2 Atypus. Also you need a Time Thief Redoer and Zeus in there.
Trap hole cards should be at 1 since they're searchable. Obviously holo is a 3 of.

You can literally recycle your trap holes, the only one you could possibly justify dupes of is gravediggers because if you draw it and play only one, you die to nib.

The most important effect of cularia is that you can reuse your traps over and over again. The special summoning really does not matter that much, but its still good because you can activate it each turn, earth summoner its just once IIRC.
This, its 50% of the reason you only need 1 of each hole card in the deck. the other 50% is raff

It's not a matter of being restrictive. We're talking about niche monsters that aren't summoned in the vast majority of games here after all. If you're using either of these then it's because the requirements for them to function well have been achieved.
Most games end in the handtrap minigame alone which is far superior to trap hole cards.
If your starters get handtrapped it's over, run the called by package. Terrifying is kinda bad and you don't need more than one nightmare, cut them and add prosperity and maybe talents. If exceed resolves that's a free rafflesia, you want no less than 3. Imperm is literally one of the best traps you run, max out on that shit as well.
You no longer need more than one allomerus AND you're missing zeus, which is like the sole reason you run her at 1 these days. I have never needed more than one rafflesia, pinguicula is your second best (IMO the best) rank 4 because her and sera are a lot of interruptions, she can get huge with atypus and she attaches whatever you destroy/banish with trap holes and pudica, she can even grab shit that banishes/destroys itself like albaz, i'd run 2 if i were you. Unicorn alone is ass, run phoenix alongside it. Atypus can negate and banish shit, you don't need abomination, if you're going to run a link-4 make sure it's accesscode, with the field you can climb into him for free and then resummon atypus.
He's right, she's my favorite but even back in the lord of heavenly prison+utopia era she was seldom used. If her effect didn't mention that you had to summon the monster in defense position then you bet your ass she'd be a staple, because it means she's free as she'd bring back sera.

Vision Resonator is kinda funny in Lab though. As long as you play around your Fiend-lock right you can loop Baronne every turn for never-ending omninegates

Any argument against Maxx "C" that doesn't address WHY Maxx "C" is in the game in the first place and the REAL problem in the game, is inherently dishonest.
If combo Black folk were honest, they wouldn't be combo Black folk after all.
Maxx C doesn't just frick over combo. If your turn 1 involves special summoning even 2-3 times, Maxx C was Pot of Greed/Graceful Charity.
Roach defenders are just stun Black folk who think all special summons are the combo boogeyman
And on their turn it's just a useless brick. People can only run 3 copies of shit like roach and ash because of the insane 1 combo starters.

It isn't, though. PoG and Graceful give you cards that you can use on your turn. Since it's the opponent's turn you aren't guaranteed to draw something immediately usable.
YGO is all about exchanges, not card advantage. If your opponent draws 5 interruptions of Maxx to stop you board, that is fricked up but also unlucky, and your deck had to run those 5 interrupts at risk of bricking.
Most of the Maxx C "problems" are just symptoms of greater ills like

>extremely efficient engines that payoff in negates
>deckspace so flexible you can run 40-50% interrupts and still resolve full combo with 70%+ consistency

Drawing too many cards off Maxx "C" draws you into your bricks, turning off cards like Fusion Destiny, so Halqdon was built more around countering Ash, Maxx, Imperm and Veiler so it cound resolve its combos and end on a 3+ interruption board.
Halqdon could eat up 4 cards, put up an OTK, and if you survived you'd still have to deal with x2 negates and a colossus, along with Fateful Adventure giving them a free plus off the normal summon.

The point is that Halqdon ran garnets that needed to stay in deck, so opening 2 starters and 4 interruptions was ideal compared to drawing any of the garnets.
If you want a modern example, Mathmech only needs Circular to resolve and can run 4 anti-handtrap cards to make that happen. If you do open 2+ interrupts, any 2 monsters ends on Heatsoul+Transcode and any 2 Cyberse ends on Superfactorial, Cynetc Conflict and Desave.
Decks like Lab, Vanquish Soul, have virtually no dead draws off Maxx "C" because all their non-trap engine cards are immediately live.
So the actual problem is that you have highly consistent decks with compact, flexible engines which makes even upstart goblin potentially lethal.
