No, lingering effects bypass even immunities. They're the single most overpowered effect type with absolutely no counter. That's why anything even remotely usable wtih a lingering effect sees play, and they're always busted and meta warping (maxx c, shifter, droll, mirrorjade, dweller, scythe, gimmick puppet)
Insanely busted. As written it deletes all of your own xenolocks, so you could make Branded into a Rank 8 engine for instance. That wouldn't be better than just doing normal branded stuff, but you get the idea. Someone would make a dumb pile and use that card to extend infinitely. If it only removed the opponent's lingering effects that might be more balanced, and honestly one of the biggest issues with floodgates and stun tools are that you cannot interact with them outside of just removing the floodgate/stun tool. And for some cards (Maxx C, D Shifter, D Barrier) once they resolve you just can't interact with them at all.

Well I am running three DM Nibiru and 1 Dark Magician of Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended. One Dark Magician of Super Natural Dangerzone which can pop Tokens. I opted to run 9 traps which are three Dark Magician of Torrential Tribute and three Dark Magician of Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon and two Dark Magician of Draco-Utopian Aura.

Having played Infernoble for the past 3 weeks or so I really have to say I hate how basically everyone builds this deck with a shitload of 1-ofs and garnets so they can use Isolde to dump 4 equips and guarantee a rank 4. I would go so far as to say Neo Space Connector is straight up a bad card in this kind of deck because built properly you have roughly 20 different cards that represent a second warrior monster on field for Isolde and you want to use Isolde to grab Riccardetto from deck to revive a level 4 to make Angelica. Angelica is literally full combo by herself, and there have been several games where I don't bother to even make Isolde because I want to be able to play around Imperm or Veiler.
But people still insist on making these shitty Connector/Broken Bamboo and I just don't fricking get it. Isolde send 4 for a garnet IS ALREADY AN FTK. Using that shit for Infernobles to make 2 Charles and an Angelic Ring is just a shitty version of the Isolde summon Armageddon Knight FTK. Both decks play about the same number of hard garnets too. And just like every bricky FTK, Infernobles with this little extension (Most lists play a single Fire Flint Lady, what the actual frick) cannot go second. Meanwhile I extended my way past a Manadium endboard with nothing but in-engine gas and Immortal Phoenix. Why the frick is everyone playing the deck this way. Hand info is great but most MD players are just gonna ash your normal summon anyway and this version of the deck dies so much harder to Maxx C.

What does the Diabellstar package in this deck do for it anyway, give you another 2 soft garnets you don't want to draw? I played it a lot in the event and I don't find that version of the deck particularly bricky even with all the 1-ofs and equip spells. You have a lot of cards to get you what you need. Sometimes it can seem like you're in a pinch but you actually often have some play since like I said you've got a lot of cards that can do what you want.
Like with your isolde example. If isolde is negated before she gets to use her second effect then you just link her and ricciardetto into another copy of isolde and try again. If she's negated after her second effect then you summon renaud off of sinful spoils instead, grab durendal, add turpin, equip bamboo sword, yada yada yada.

Isolde is a HOPT on both effects. Also, if you want a bricky, 1-of filled wombo combo deck, PK Raidraptor has a better turn 1 board (Ends on Kali Yuga or Scythe) AND a better grind game with DPE. Pretty sure it plays fewer hard garnets too. Meanwhile in this deck you can open an equip spell that does literally nothing. There's no reason for a modern combo deck that can be extremely consistent to run that many garnets just so you can say you have a 1-card combo. The opportunity cost just isn't worth it, and a leaner, cleaner version of the deck has the exact same endboard and can actually play through some disruption or even going second.
Bamboo nonsense is for actual morons that don't know how to play without Phoenix Blade. You only need to play the 3 good Infernoble Arms, Angelica's Ring and a 5th equip in case you draw one of them, best option being Living Fossil. >you want to use Isolde to grab Ricciardetto drom deck
You don't actually want to summon Ricciardetto off Isolde almost ever, unless you are forced to. Summoning Ogier, sending Ricciardetto, linking into Princess then summoning back Ricciardetto is a strictly better line as you get Princess access before you lock yourself into Warriors and you lose nothing. This is why being able to send 4 with Isolde consistently is desired.
Connector is definitely not needed for the deck to function, but it is a busted starter and that's why it is played. It forces Ash and Veiler since if the opponent doesn't use them on the Connector they will get ripped. It also completely beats Droll before the opponent can use it, this one being particularly major.
Even just looking at the opponent's hand and seeing their outs and engine in itself so that you know perfectly what to stop is absurd. On top of that if you play your hand right, you can Dolphin twice in one turn because you can link off Dollhin then bring it back with Conenctor. I have played against blind second nonsense with Lava Golem and I used Dolphin, saw the Golem, then later on ripped the Golem with a second Dolphin use when I had Charles on the board. In many hands you can even go Isolde summon Dolphin just to make sure you can see the hand before truly committing. Dolphin is just a fricked card.
I normally would prefer to play Sublimation because being FIRE gives a lot more synergy with the rest of the deck on top of being able to use him as a soft Armageddon Knight by equipping Turpin or something linking him off, but Dolphin is just so ridiculously busted.
NTA, but if you already have Ogier or another 4 in the grave you can summon Ricciardetto and just not use its effect then climb into Promethean and it's the same combo.
All versions of the deck lose hard to Maxx C. The deck has no way to actually make a disruption in a few amount of special summons. Just making vanilla Charles pass is 5 draws.

Why the frick are morons still running droll? It doesn't do shit to snake eyes and braindead, the far away best 2 decks. It limits mathmech, the 3rd best deck, but not by much. If they grab Super Factorial as their first search, then you didn't achieve anything with droll. It only kills SHS and VS, the tier 3 decks. The meta is swarming with handtraps, you could be running TTT or veiler/imperm to counter snake eyes instead of wasting a slot on droll.
Soul Release is just inferior to Evenly, especially against Rescue Ace which can shuffle banished cards into the deck to draw.
You hurt Snake-Eyes grind game and remove Princess but don't actually deal with the on field threat and neg yourself to do it (while Snake-Eyes plussed to dump all that shit).
The best card is Shifter. I've been running x2 Maxx and x1 Shifter to not frick my ratios too much and won like 6 against Snake-Eyes on turn 1 alone.
If you dont have something to bait Baroness or neutralize with snake eyes you can't play YG. Evenly matched is great.

Daruma karma cannon when they use all their name effects and watch them pass. Watch me recycle it via Lovely until they scoop. Or I open Gozen Match/Rivalry and Solemn Strike. Open Sphere Mode and set 5. Ice Dragons Prison their Flam. Obviously snake eye knowledge helps immensely so be sure to play around the fact that they can search kurikara or make any predictable extra monster play if you decide to hold off karma until the last possible minute like in battlephase or if their attempting to make a baronne or borrel play.

If the opponent has a set and you have lethal, the music changes to the "critical HP" music.
Against the Mayakashi bot I had 3 monsters including Cross-Sheep, but didn't know it was lethal until the music told me Cross Sheep could run over the set monster.

Meta can make use of a DM but they have far more to lose bringing something out that can lose them the game to a single removal effect. You also neg from the Extra Deck if you use a really good defensive DM like Chengying, so you're running 41 main deck cards and what you run might not ever be useful or safe to use

They are a thing, but they are meant for locals as a casual mode. They are never going to put this as a side event on a YCS because everyone is just going to pick Exterio and Vanity's Ruler so they would need to make an entire new banlist around this small side format.
All of the other formats have regular side events at YCSs.

MTG tournaments are topped by random people because the game is so luck based. Brand new players picking up red burn have topped major events. Anyone and everyone who has ever consistently topped MTG events where eventually outed as cheaters (seriously the amount of videos covering MTG cheaters on youtube is staggering).
That's exactly the problem. The "pros" are propped up by made up tournament systems where they get multiple "byes" every tournament. Sometimes up to 5 byes. Naturally you keep seeing the same mother frickers because having 5 rounds where you can't get screwed by awful opening hands is an unreal advantage.
If all things were equal and constant, you WOULD see random people topping but that rarely happens because Wizards of the coasts rigs the game to make specific players consistently top.

Pros don't exist in YGO either. By definition to be a professsional you have to make money off it. Anyone who does anything YGO other than stream MD is sinking time and money into a format that ony lasts 3 months at best.
Even in baseball, that saw radical changes in the past 5 years, changes to the game's rules only come when the owners and union agree on a CBA. So you can compare winning 5 years ago to today pretty reliably. 5 years ago was Tri Zoo, 10 years ago was the Majespecter format. Those eras are so vastly different you can't compare a player from then to now

Dinos in general has so many UR that putting them in a selection pack is pointless. Nobody would be able to build a dino deck just from the new cards in a selection pack.

Against Infernoble hit the Isolde effect to summon from deck and pray they are bad at the game (majority of them are). Most players will tunnel into Isolde and create a chokepoint for themselves when they don't need to.
Against Snake-Eye there are multiple approaches. You can handtrap the Ash/Original/Diabellstar and pray they can't extend or you can let them play and try to Imperm the Flamberge effect to place Masq to make their board weaker.

Rush duels is unironically better than modern Yugioh because most strategies rely on combat to be the determining factor of victory, rather than omni negates and ftks.
Nobody enjoys ungabunga gameplay. Rush Duel had potential, but they ruined it by not having even proper chains. Despite fixing many of YGO's fundamental mechanical problems, it's as deep as a puddle.

Crossout is the only part of the Maxx package you can brick on. If you're running rarer stuff like Nibiru or HFD, it also requires those cards to be in your deck meaning Crossout can brick if you draw into those 1-of's.
I dropped Crossout for more engine. Ash, Called and just taking the challenge are enough anti-Maxx "C" strategies. And if you get ash'd youself you can just play through it.
I've lost more times to bricking on Crossout than I have to an unanswered Maxx "C", and since I run evenly too a smart player will save it until evenly to drop it, knowing that you can't respond or else you weaken evenly. This is also done in response to HFD (if they Ash you chain the called you otherwise would have lost)

Mixing boardbreakers and handtraps is a bad idea, it's better to go all in on one or the other strategy.
When you play handtraps your goal is to stop your opponent from playing entirely. 1 handtrap is not guaranteed to do this, but 2 or 3 are very effective at it.
The same goes for board breakers. Boards are built to not easily lose to a single board breaker. That's why you want to open multiples.
When you mix handtraps and boardbreakers, you get hands with 1 handtrap, 1 board breaker, where the handtrap doesn't stop the opponent from building a board and the board breaker can't deal with the board alone, so you just lose despite opening 2 non-engine. If you had 2 handtraps or 2 board breakers instead, you were way more likely to be able to beat the board.
In Master Duel, however, every deck is forced to play minimum 3 Maxx C + 3 Ash, so every deck is already halfway through a handtrap strategy for their non-engine. This coupled with what I explained above about handtraps being better in multiples makes it so every format is handtrap format because, if you are already on 6 handtraps minimum and your deck has 9-15 non-engine slots, it's better to just add more handtraps.
In the TCG, you will frequently see people topping and even winning huge YCSs main decking 0 handtraps and sometimes even having 0 in their side deck as well.

Insanely busted. As written it deletes all of your own xenolocks, so you could make Branded into a Rank 8 engine for instance. That wouldn't be better than just doing normal branded stuff, but you get the idea. Someone would make a dumb pile and use that card to extend infinitely. If it only removed the opponent's lingering effects that might be more balanced, and honestly one of the biggest issues with floodgates and stun tools are that you cannot interact with them outside of just removing the floodgate/stun tool. And for some cards (Maxx C, D Shifter, D Barrier) once they resolve you just can't interact with them at all.

Having played Infernoble for the past 3 weeks or so I really have to say I hate how basically everyone builds this deck with a shitload of 1-ofs and garnets so they can use Isolde to dump 4 equips and guarantee a rank 4. I would go so far as to say Neo Space Connector is straight up a bad card in this kind of deck because built properly you have roughly 20 different cards that represent a second warrior monster on field for Isolde and you want to use Isolde to grab Riccardetto from deck to revive a level 4 to make Angelica. Angelica is literally full combo by herself, and there have been several games where I don't bother to even make Isolde because I want to be able to play around Imperm or Veiler.
But people still insist on making these shitty Connector/Broken Bamboo and I just don't fricking get it. Isolde send 4 for a garnet IS ALREADY AN FTK. Using that shit for Infernobles to make 2 Charles and an Angelic Ring is just a shitty version of the Isolde summon Armageddon Knight FTK. Both decks play about the same number of hard garnets too. And just like every bricky FTK, Infernobles with this little extension (Most lists play a single Fire Flint Lady, what the actual frick) cannot go second. Meanwhile I extended my way past a Manadium endboard with nothing but in-engine gas and Immortal Phoenix. Why the frick is everyone playing the deck this way. Hand info is great but most MD players are just gonna ash your normal summon anyway and this version of the deck dies so much harder to Maxx C.

No trust me I do, I fricking hate this Infernoble build. There's no reason to play this type of deck over an FTK. What does the Diabellstar package in this deck do for it anyway, give you another 2 soft garnets you don't want to draw? If Isolde gets impermed in a proper build, Diabellstar is extension since you can get Riccardetto from deck with the Original Sinful Spoils. Since you probably made Isolde with a level 4 like Ogier, you still have full combo. Here you made Isolde with 2 non-Infernobles so you can't do that. The deck's biggest problems (Outside of Maxx C resolving) are cards like Imperm and Nibiru and the Aqua Dolphin garnet doesn't solve that.

Then you don't want to play the Connector/Broken Bamboo/Isolde send 4 nonsense either. It's horribly inconsistent, the deck bloats to well above 40 cards, and is extremely fragile since there's no extension. There's also like 10 cards in the deck that you don't want to draw. You get the same endboard playing 3x Ogier, 3x Fire Flint, 3x Rayneud and trying to use Isolde to just send Angelica's Angelic Ring for Riccardetto.
I played it a lot in the event and I don't find that version of the deck particularly bricky even with all the 1-ofs and equip spells. You have a lot of cards to get you what you need. Sometimes it can seem like you're in a pinch but you actually often have some play since like I said you've got a lot of cards that can do what you want.
Like with your isolde example. If isolde is negated before she gets to use her second effect then you just link her and ricciardetto into another copy of isolde and try again. If she's negated after her second effect then you summon renaud off of sinful spoils instead, grab durendal, add turpin, equip bamboo sword, yada yada yada.

Isolde is a HOPT on both effects. Also, if you want a bricky, 1-of filled wombo combo deck, PK Raidraptor has a better turn 1 board (Ends on Kali Yuga or Scythe) AND a better grind game with DPE. Pretty sure it plays fewer hard garnets too. Meanwhile in this deck you can open an equip spell that does literally nothing. There's no reason for a modern combo deck that can be extremely consistent to run that many garnets just so you can say you have a 1-card combo. The opportunity cost just isn't worth it, and a leaner, cleaner version of the deck has the exact same endboard and can actually play through some disruption or even going second.
Bamboo nonsense is for actual morons that don't know how to play without Phoenix Blade. You only need to play the 3 good Infernoble Arms, Angelica's Ring and a 5th equip in case you draw one of them, best option being Living Fossil.

You don't actually want to summon Ricciardetto off Isolde almost ever, unless you are forced to. Summoning Ogier, sending Ricciardetto, linking into Princess then summoning back Ricciardetto is a strictly better line as you get Princess access before you lock yourself into Warriors and you lose nothing. This is why being able to send 4 with Isolde consistently is desired.
Connector is definitely not needed for the deck to function, but it is a busted starter and that's why it is played. It forces Ash and Veiler since if the opponent doesn't use them on the Connector they will get ripped. It also completely beats Droll before the opponent can use it, this one being particularly major.
Even just looking at the opponent's hand and seeing their outs and engine in itself so that you know perfectly what to stop is absurd. On top of that if you play your hand right, you can Dolphin twice in one turn because you can link off Dollhin then bring it back with Conenctor. I have played against blind second nonsense with Lava Golem and I used Dolphin, saw the Golem, then later on ripped the Golem with a second Dolphin use when I had Charles on the board. In many hands you can even go Isolde summon Dolphin just to make sure you can see the hand before truly committing. Dolphin is just a fricked card.
I normally would prefer to play Sublimation because being FIRE gives a lot more synergy with the rest of the deck on top of being able to use him as a soft Armageddon Knight by equipping Turpin or something linking him off, but Dolphin is just so ridiculously busted.
NTA, but if you already have Ogier or another 4 in the grave you can summon Ricciardetto and just not use its effect then climb into Promethean and it's the same combo.
All versions of the deck lose hard to Maxx C. The deck has no way to actually make a disruption in a few amount of special summons. Just making vanilla Charles pass is 5 draws.

The meta is swarming with handtraps, you could be running TTT or veiler/imperm to counter snake eyes instead of wasting a slot on droll.

The best card is Shifter. I've been running x2 Maxx and x1 Shifter to not frick my ratios too much and won like 6 against Snake-Eyes on turn 1 alone.

I don't agree, the deck can spin its wheels all it wants but without Flamberge and generic ED monsters it can't convert all that advantage into win condition.
Flamberge absolutely must be banished face down at all costs. Once you deal with that Snake-Eyes can't stand on its own as a deck anymore, and exists just to enable Infernoble, Kangs and Racists.
This. The only monster in the archtype able to do anything is Flamberge, without it the entire engine just crumples and becomes a support b***h for other fire decks and generic EDs.

MTG tournaments are topped by random people because the game is so luck based. Brand new players picking up red burn have topped major events. Anyone and everyone who has ever consistently topped MTG events where eventually outed as cheaters (seriously the amount of videos covering MTG cheaters on youtube is staggering).
That's exactly the problem. The "pros" are propped up by made up tournament systems where they get multiple "byes" every tournament. Sometimes up to 5 byes. Naturally you keep seeing the same mother frickers because having 5 rounds where you can't get screwed by awful opening hands is an unreal advantage.
If all things were equal and constant, you WOULD see random people topping but that rarely happens because Wizards of the coasts rigs the game to make specific players consistently top.
Pros don't exist in YGO either. By definition to be a professsional you have to make money off it. Anyone who does anything YGO other than stream MD is sinking time and money into a format that ony lasts 3 months at best.
Even in baseball, that saw radical changes in the past 5 years, changes to the game's rules only come when the owners and union agree on a CBA. So you can compare winning 5 years ago to today pretty reliably. 5 years ago was Tri Zoo, 10 years ago was the Majespecter format. Those eras are so vastly different you can't compare a player from then to now

Against Infernoble hit the Isolde effect to summon from deck and pray they are bad at the game (majority of them are). Most players will tunnel into Isolde and create a chokepoint for themselves when they don't need to.
Against Snake-Eye there are multiple approaches. You can handtrap the Ash/Original/Diabellstar and pray they can't extend or you can let them play and try to Imperm the Flamberge effect to place Masq to make their board weaker.

Nobody enjoys ungabunga gameplay. Rush Duel had potential, but they ruined it by not having even proper chains. Despite fixing many of YGO's fundamental mechanical problems, it's as deep as a puddle.

Crossout is only for decks that lose insanely hard to handtraps and also run a variety of different handtraps

Crossout is the only part of the Maxx package you can brick on. If you're running rarer stuff like Nibiru or HFD, it also requires those cards to be in your deck meaning Crossout can brick if you draw into those 1-of's.
I dropped Crossout for more engine. Ash, Called and just taking the challenge are enough anti-Maxx "C" strategies. And if you get ash'd youself you can just play through it.
I've lost more times to bricking on Crossout than I have to an unanswered Maxx "C", and since I run evenly too a smart player will save it until evenly to drop it, knowing that you can't respond or else you weaken evenly. This is also done in response to HFD (if they Ash you chain the called you otherwise would have lost)

Mixing boardbreakers and handtraps is a bad idea, it's better to go all in on one or the other strategy.
When you play handtraps your goal is to stop your opponent from playing entirely. 1 handtrap is not guaranteed to do this, but 2 or 3 are very effective at it.
The same goes for board breakers. Boards are built to not easily lose to a single board breaker. That's why you want to open multiples.
When you mix handtraps and boardbreakers, you get hands with 1 handtrap, 1 board breaker, where the handtrap doesn't stop the opponent from building a board and the board breaker can't deal with the board alone, so you just lose despite opening 2 non-engine. If you had 2 handtraps or 2 board breakers instead, you were way more likely to be able to beat the board.
In Master Duel, however, every deck is forced to play minimum 3 Maxx C + 3 Ash, so every deck is already halfway through a handtrap strategy for their non-engine. This coupled with what I explained above about handtraps being better in multiples makes it so every format is handtrap format because, if you are already on 6 handtraps minimum and your deck has 9-15 non-engine slots, it's better to just add more handtraps.
In the TCG, you will frequently see people topping and even winning huge YCSs main decking 0 handtraps and sometimes even having 0 in their side deck as well.
Just another item to add to the pile of reasons why the roach does more harm to the game than good.

If I don't summon all of my shit then the board I spent my entire first turn doesn't actually do anything but giving my opponent 20 draws during his turn just feels so shit
