Ceasefire and Magic cylinder have clutched a lot of duels for me this event. Nobleman of Crossout is also good, every other duel people are placing cards in face down defense. Magician of Faith is becoming pretty popular in the event since there are a lot of strong spells. Axe of Despair and Mage Power are decent general equips too.
Is Goat format also control decks: the game? This is event is just nothing but removal and set monsters with non once per turn special summon from deck effects. Oh, and Golem Sentry.

In addition to what's been said, they also are an all male species+an all female species, they have the same fashion sense, Harpie's Hunting Ground depicts a whip, not something you'd use to kill, and Hunting Ground destroys backrow, not monsters. And Ojama backrow tends to bring about more Ojamas when they go to the GY (Ojamagic, Ojapajama, Ojama Duo, Ojamassimilation)

In general you save for stuff you actually want to play and dust excess from those pulls for more fun stuff
Gadgets completely ruin anything that could be good about this format. This infinite resource loop while everyone only has ways to trade 1-for-1 completely breaks the flow of the format. They play a Gadget and your only non-shit play is to play a bigger monster, but then they can simply use all the billions of 1-for-1 removal tools to deal with your bigger monster and then keep playing Gadgets.
It's impressive how the TCG is better than the OCG even when it comes to 20 year old formats.

That never happened. When the game came out it was the clownest of all clown formats with VFD, Imperial Order, Vanity's etc all legal and several other cards that were banned both in the OCG and TCG at the time. People wanted the format to be literally anything else.

I play pure live twins and have had no problem with the meta and getting to Master, it's unironically a skill issue. bros please help I have some questions. so after pulling the ash packs I got some branded cards, 3x fallen of albaz, 3x lubellion, 1x magnamut, 2x jester plus I already had a branded fusion from a master pack so I thought maybe I should build a branded deck, the problem is I dont have any of the extra deck fusions so it would be very costly to build still even if I pull some packs. but I also have a few cards from snake eyes like 2x diabellstar, 2x wanted, 1x sinful spoil and most of the extra deck so it would be cheaper to finish this one. my questions:

This is why old yugioh is trash. Unironically BEWD and DM are more playable in current YGO than they were in this format. Imagine spending all the effort to put a BEWD on the field just for your opponent to normal summon Red Gadget and play Smashing Ground.
2004 is ass. Everything feels so damn weak and frail, and I never draw anything I want. No wonder we have searchers. I also get negates now. Living at the mercy of the backrow is awful. Good thing we power crept most of those out of the game.
MST limit sucks because you're left with heavy storm or trunade as removal but most people aren't gong to craft those, and the rest of removal is either traps or Breaker.

I'm really enjoying learning the ins and outs of Yu-Gi-Oh! but I still think I enjoy the Pokémon TCG a bit more. Obviously I'm biased but I enjoy the slower pace of Pokémon. I will say that Master Duel is a much, much better app than TCG Live. I pray nobody ITT has to ever put up with that.

Yes, everyone knows you win the game by reducing the opponent's life to 0, deck out, or alternate effect, but he's not going to point at Accesscode Talker right off the bat. He'll say something along the lines of "reduce his life to 0" only to be met with "How?". It is then where he goes over his OTK combo and realize that Accesscode is the wincon.

You really can't. The best you can do is play a Dark Magician deck and add a bit extra of the bad DMG support like Magician's Combination and Dark Burning Magic. It'll still suck but not nearly as much.

The real version of OCG goat is an unplayable mess. confiscation, forceful sentry, trap dustshoot, sixth sense, painful choice, fiber jar, and a bunch of other bullshit is all legal. The only thing saving it in MD is all that bullshit is uncraftable so it gets banned by default.

Ceasefire and Magic cylinder have clutched a lot of duels for me this event. Nobleman of Crossout is also good, every other duel people are placing cards in face down defense. Magician of Faith is becoming pretty popular in the event since there are a lot of strong spells. Axe of Despair and Mage Power are decent general equips too.
I'm having fun with this event but man I wish they had a special pack that had banned cards in it.

In addition to what's been said, they also are an all male species+an all female species, they have the same fashion sense, Harpie's Hunting Ground depicts a whip, not something you'd use to kill, and Hunting Ground destroys backrow, not monsters. And Ojama backrow tends to bring about more Ojamas when they go to the GY (Ojamagic, Ojapajama, Ojama Duo, Ojamassimilation)

Gadgets completely ruin anything that could be good about this format. This infinite resource loop while everyone only has ways to trade 1-for-1 completely breaks the flow of the format. They play a Gadget and your only non-shit play is to play a bigger monster, but then they can simply use all the billions of 1-for-1 removal tools to deal with your bigger monster and then keep playing Gadgets.
It's impressive how the TCG is better than the OCG even when it comes to 20 year old formats.

bros please help I have some questions. so after pulling the ash packs I got some branded cards, 3x fallen of albaz, 3x lubellion, 1x magnamut, 2x jester plus I already had a branded fusion from a master pack so I thought maybe I should build a branded deck, the problem is I dont have any of the extra deck fusions so it would be very costly to build still even if I pull some packs. but I also have a few cards from snake eyes like 2x diabellstar, 2x wanted, 1x sinful spoil and most of the extra deck so it would be cheaper to finish this one. my questions:

The real version of OCG goat is an unplayable mess. confiscation, forceful sentry, trap dustshoot, sixth sense, painful choice, fiber jar, and a bunch of other bullshit is all legal. The only thing saving it in MD is all that bullshit is uncraftable so it gets banned by default.
